Do not
conform to the pattern of this World,
but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind.
– Romans 12:2

I will spread God’s Love to all I know and serve.
To whom
do we belong?
In our Creator’s Love for us
were we made,
longing for belonging,
seeking after the one
to whom we truly belong.
God
breathed Life into Humankind.
Yes,
Adam and Eve’s lungs were filled
with God’s own Being,
His very Breath.
My Dear Friends,
knowing
to whom we belong
goes a long way
in helping us figure out
who we are.
There is a central question
of Life.
Do we belong to
this World,
filled with vain promises,
illusions of grandeur,
and inescapable loss of Life
and everything material
that accompanies it?
Or
do we belong
to God?
“All the lonely people,
where do they all come from?
All the lonely people,
where do they all
belong?”
– The Beatles
The Spiritual Awareness
that we
do not belong to others,
or even to ourselves,
but that in Life,
or in death,
we belong to God,
can lead to
a truly authentic and fulfilling
Life,
a Life worth Living.
To see myself as I truly am,
becomes a vision
into the very Heart of Being.
It enables us
to find belonging,
and to discover
Truth and Joy.
“It is the condition of Love,
that as soon as one sees oneself
as Loved,
one starts Loving.”
– St Catherine of Siena
We have to belong
somewhere,
or to someone.
And,
if we really belong
to God,
then we are truly fashioned
in God’s Image.
As we absorb
the Beautiful Knowledge
of our relationship with our Creator,
we outgrow the small things
that clutter our Lives,
and we begin the Blessed Journey
toward the greater,
magnificent, wider World.
Psalm 100:3
reminds us that we belong to God.
The English Bible states:
“Know that the LORD is God –
He made us; we belong to Him.”
The Hebrew original of the last phrase
can be literally translated,
“we are His.”
My Dear Friends,
it is vital to know
the Spirit of God
dwells in
you.
“What gives meaning to Life?”
With a new understanding
of
to whom we belong,
meaning can be made
manifest.
We must know
to whom we belong.
Until we know,
we can never discover
inner Peace.
Understanding ourselves
and our relation to God,
will lead us to
a fulfilling Life.
Belonging to God
is the most we could ever ask
in Life.
Life
is a Beautiful demonstration
of God’s Wisdom and Knowledge,
a very vivid reflection
of His Art and Love.
And when
we serve and keep this
wonderfully diverse and Beautiful world,
we Honor the Creator
to whom it all belongs.
“We belong to God
by surrender and dedication.”
– Rom 12:1
To God We Belong
and
To Him We Return.
Goodnight.
“Living in this world with change all around
But with the prophets’ words,
I’ll stand on solid ground.
Even though it’s still hard,
with questions that arise,
Every day I will say:
‘ll have Faith like brother Joseph
and the strength of the pioneers.
I’ll be brave as a strippling warrior
and like Nephi persevere.
I will spread God’s Love to all I know and serve.
I will plead with my Father on my knees:
I will be
what I Believe.”
– Blake Gillette
What Really Causes Heart Disease
by Dr. Dwight Lundell
who is the past Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Banner Heart Hospital , Mesa , AZ. His private practice, Cardiac Care Center was in Mesa, AZ. Recently Dr. Lundell left surgery to focus on the nutritional treatment of heart disease. He is the founder of Healthy Humans Foundation that promotes human health with a focus on helping large corporations promote wellness. He is also the author of
The Cure for Heart Disease and The Great Cholesterol Lie.
The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a paradigm shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated.
The long-established dietary recommendations have created epidemics of obesity and diabetes, the consequences of which dwarf any historical plague in terms of mortality, human suffering and dire economic consequences.
Despite the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before.
Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have diabetes and 57 million have per-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.
Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.
Inflammation is not complicated – it is quite simply your body’s natural defense to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders. However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process,a condition occurs called chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial.
What thoughtful person would willfully expose himself repeatedly to foods or other substances that are known to cause injury to the body? Well, smokers perhaps, but at least they made that choice willfully.
The rest of us have simply followed the recommended mainstream diet that is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels. This repeated injury creates chronic inflammation leading to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.
Let me repeat that: The injury and inflammation in our blood vessels is caused by the low fat diet recommended for years by mainstream medicine.
What are the biggest culprits of chronic inflammation? Quite simply, they are the overload of simple, highly processed carbohydrates (sugar, flour and all the products made from them) and the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.
far away;
they are deep within us.
Heaven is not a distant country
where there are trees and houses and other objects;
it is a plane of consciousness within us.
Seekers of the eternal Truth
will realize their eternal Heaven
within their aspiring Hearts.”
