sun

Eyes are blinded by this rising Sun.

Lightning strikes,
and the drum beat of Love
reflects the sound
of another Heart,
the One from
Above.

Eyes are blinded
by this rising Sun,
like the death of night
when time
was begun.

   Miracles abound and all around.

Our World
blazes bright
as we come
within sight
of someone
we truly Love.
And the song we hear,
from the joy we feel,
becomes the music
of our tears,
falling through
the years.

a_068

Blessed days countless in number.

We come
from a past
so frail
in our deeds,
Infrequent in our dance,
celebration
with little elation,
almost unknown romance,
so unaware
of the tides
washing aplenty upon
our shores,
of Blessed days,
Sacred nights,
countless in number
to adore.

a_081

Open your eyes to the Love all around.

My Dear Friends,
Miracles abound,
and all around.
And this day,
today,
is the most Beautiful
I have found.

Open your Heart,
open your eyes,
to the Love
all around:
in the eyes
of our children,
in the smiles
of our friends,
in the fellowship
of our neighbors,
in the precious Life
God has given us
to savor.

This joyous moment
can last
your whole life long.
Just remember the words
to your song,
and sing along.

Goodnight.

“Greater He
that is in you
than he
that is in the world.”

 Startling Things You Never Suspected
Could Cause Cancer (but they do)
by Danica Collins

Most laundry detergents (The 1,4-dioxane found in laundry detergent is particularly harmful in the fact that the chemical binds easily to water and remains there. Even after water containing the chemical has been purified and filtered, low levels have been detected, indicating that it is not easily removed from water.

DSC03445

I’m done with the nap and the Sun!

Numerous water supplies across the country have been found to be tainted with 1,4-dioxane. Try PENTA water (my favorite). Expensive? Well, a little pricey. But CHEAP compared to a stay in the hospital. And not painful at all. In fact, the company advertises that it “gives you a feeling of well being”. I found this to be true. Place it in the refrigerator and get it cold. Then drink a full bottle when you get up in the morning. Yes, you will have a feeling of well being. This good clean water, with a great taste, makes me float around the house for a long time. It’s not just an advertising line, it is true. Our fragile human bodies react beautifully to the good things, and the things that are good for you in life.

Hi. I’m Lila. And I own this place.

20 different laundry detergents from both conventional and “natural” brands were evaluated in one study. Evoxa, an independent, third-party laboratory that is highly respected for its rigorous methods and high standards, conducted all product testing. The results are as follows:

11. All laundry detergent (Unilever) – 0.6 ppm

Now, what do I do? This reminds me of the time when, in 1984, I finally realized that smoking tobacco was going to kill me and death would come in a very painful and miserable way. Yes, I left the good Doctor’s office, and thought about what he said: “Bill, remember, ALL SMOKERS QUIT!”. I toddled home, and THREW AWAY all tobacco products, including my beloved briar wood pipe.

Yes, throw all the dangerous products away. TODAY. The very best investment you can possibly make is in the health and safety of your children and yourself. If you hesitate, it could be the costliest moment in your life or the life of your child.

Vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin because the body naturally produces it when the skin is directly exposed to sunlight. You can also get the necessary daily amount through your diet or supplements. Vitamin D-rich foods include milk, cheese, and fatty fish like tuna, salmon, and mackerel. Certain foods such as cereals, orange juice, soy products, yogurt, and margarine are sometimes fortified with vitamin D.

The National Institutes of Health recommends that most adults get about 600 IUs (International Units) of vitamin D daily.

dark street corner

A street lamp keeps my Heart searching.

Standing all alone
on a dark corner of the past,
a street lamp
keeps my Heart searching
down a lonesome road
so far I cannot see,
wondering
where I am,
unknowing
I am no longer me.

Finding I am still lost,
ever deepening,
darkening shadows of doubt,
leave little
in the mind
to wonder what this Life
is all about.

But suddenly,
somehow,
I come to know,
as I stand beneath
another Light,
a Heart so full of Love
and all Aglow,
and listen to God’s Voice
ever so softly whisper
from above,
“Let Me show the Way,
the Gift of Love”

“Let the LORD your God
tell us where we should go
and what we should do.”
– Jeremiah 42:3

flower 2

“Each flower is a soul blossoming out to nature.”     – Gerard de Nerval

The light you seek,
one day
you will find.
It shines within
As bright as the Sun
In the full of day,
a day
you come to truly see
is never done.

Today,
you may not read
by the reflection
of God’s Light
in the dark corners
of a restless Heart,
but you can
feel His Warmth,
and see your shadow
cast upon a past
doubtful in mind,
lonely of Soul.

flower

Do not let your Life pass you by.

Much like the dark we find
lingering around a lonely street lamp,
sorrow can surround you,
as the world all around you,
disappears.

So unaware of the Light
may we be,
that all the Beauty
that abides with you
in the dark,
passes you by.

flower 3

The Beauty that abides with you in the dark.

We move in momentary
disarray,
from shade
to ever lengthening shadow,
faint and dark
to darker still,
never knowing
that not far away
the Sun is ever shinning,
ever near to breaking
upon a Beautiful horizon,
the Dawn
showing us
a new day.

“Faith
will turn any course,
light any path
,
relieve any distress,
bring joy out of sorrow,
peace out of strife,
friendship out of enmity,
Heaven out of hell.
Faith is God
at work.”

– F. L. Holmes

flower

“Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower.”

Living can be like
a song without words:
Beautiful,
but unknowing
what God wants to say
with your Life.

For He truly desires
to speak with you,
to speak through you,
to have you convey
to others left in the dark,
the joy you find
in the stunning beauty
of the Gift He gives:
the Beautiful Dawn
of a precious new day.

Your Life is a song,
a Beautiful Melody.
And you have much to say,
to share the Love story
of being lost,
of finding the way.

flower 4

“If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.”  – Buddha

Close your eyes,
My Precious Friends,
and Pray.
Your Father
will Light the path.
He will write the words
to your Beautiful Song,
He will show you the way.
He will give your Life
a depth of meaning,
something to say.

No one
is denied God’s Light,
the comforting Warmth
of His Love.

For you are my lamp,
O LORD:
and the LORD
will lighten my darkness.”
– 2 Samuel 22:29

In all the World
someone
can be Infinitely better
because of you.
What better Gift
can you give,
what better Gift
could you be,
than the Light
of their Life.

Somewhere,
someone may come to know,
“In all the World,
you are all the World,
to me.”

a_084

A day you come to truly see is never done.

We all look back
for a Light
on the path of Life,
never knowing
it was glowing within.
The Light of God’s Love
shines through us,
and it radiates
to everyone.

Yes,
one day you will pause
on the pathway forward,
to retrace the steps
you took
to arrive where you are,
to see where
you have been,
thinking Home
was ever forward,
the journey
near its end,
when
it’s just begun.

a_078

God’s Love lights the way and turns the darkness into day.

Weep not
for your memories.
Do not let your Life
pass you by.

What words
can never say,
happens every day,
in the Miracle of Love
coming through you
from Above.

God is Truth.

Open your Heart.
Say what
you truly feel.
The deepest emotions
of your Sacred Heart
will convey exactly
what others
so long to hear.
Expressions
of your Love
will take you
where you need
to go,
where you long to be,
to what God desires
for your precious Life.

a_023

Looking down a lonesome road.

I beg of you
to please know and understand
many have suffered,
many have died
for you to arrive
where you are.
Unknown and countless
are the sacrifices
of yesterday,
giving you this day.

There is magic
in the Mirror
of your Being,
in the Beautiful Dawn
of all possibilities
of who you are,
who you can be.

Your Love
can become indistinguishable
from God’s Love.
O Child of God,
such Love
can be your Treasure
to last
your whole Life long,
and far, far beyond.

a_048

There is magic in the mirror.

Accept the Gift.
Honor the Givers.
And
pass it on.

You
are a Prayer

answered
for someone, somewhere,
standing in lonely vigil
on a dim and darkening
street corner of the mind,
looking down a lonesome road
of Life
so far they cannot see,
unknowing
what they are searching for,
is you.

Goodnight.

One day you will pause to see where you have been.

Drinking coffee may stave off depression.
A study of some 50,000 female nurses in the US
over a period of ten years suggests that women
who drank 2 or 3 cups of coffee a day
reduced their risk of depression by 15%
compared with those who drank one cup or less.
And those who drank four cups or more
had a 20% risk reduction.

Chemicals for ADD and ADHD?

Something is wrong,
but not with your precious child. God, in His Wisdom, has never created a child He did not deeply Love. The concern you express for your child is part of that abiding Love.

Please consult with your physician and ask him or her to remove your child from all the harmful chemicals that will create more and more issues as time passes. The research that is readily available has led to the conclusion that no child should be subjected to the long term effects of these substances. And very few longitudinal studies have been conducted.

Please type the name of your child’s prescription(s) combined with two more words,    “____   and cancer“, and read the results.
Yes, you will be horrified.

The Drug Enforcement Administration had classified Methylphenidate (Ritalin) as a Schedule II drug, comparable to Cocaine.

Methylphenidate is also one of the top ten abused prescription drugs. Ritalin causes constriction of veins and arteries, causing the heart to work overtime and inevitably leading to damage to the organ itself.

It is a violation of parent’s rights when they are not told of the unscientific nature of so-called disorders such as ADHD or the risks of the treatments involving drugs like Ritalin.

Did you know that by labeling your child with ADHD, you are actually labeling them with a mental illness?

Did you know that a child taking a psycho-tropic, psycho-stimulant drugs like Ritalin after the age of 12 is ineligible for military service?

                                                    Why?
What do they know that we do not know?

Did you know that the subjective checklists that are being used as criteria for diagnosis are very similar to the checklists used to determine Gifted and Talented Children? These two checklists are almost identical. My Dear Friends, bright children are not passive players in the game of life. They are active. Such activity is a NATURAL by-product of high intelligence. Get on your knees and Thank God you have NORMAL, intelligent and yes, ACTIVE children. What a Blessing!

Did you know that there are studies such as the Berkeley Study that contend that Ritalin and other stimulants further raise the risk of drug abuse? Ritalin makes the brain more susceptible to the addictive power of cocaine and doubles the risk of abuse.

Children are dying from ADHD Drugs

Sadly the deaths of many children has remained unexposed and suppressed for so long because there is a tremendous amount of money and profit at stake for so many. Between 1990 and 2000 there were 186 deaths from methylphenidate reported to the FDA MedWatch program, a voluntary reporting scheme, the numbers of which represent no more than 10 to 20% of the actual incidence.

We need to expose the health risks, dangers, deaths and suicides that are a direct result of administering Ritalin and other psychiatric drugs to children. read more

Does Ritalin Increase Cancer Risk in Children?

Research is raising concerns about the drug Ritalin, suggesting that children who take it may have an increased risk of cancer.

All 12 of the children included in a University of Texas study experienced an increase in chromosome abnormalities just three months after starting Ritalin. Chromosome damage has been linked to heightened cancer risk and to other health problems. Lead researcher Randa A. El-Zein, MD, PhD, and colleagues found a THREEFOLD increase in the level of chromosomal damage in the samples taken after the children were started on Ritalin. read more

Several animal studies have also suggested a link between Ritalin use and cancer.

         Come on Folks!      Wake UP!

flowers -2

What needs to change is the academic environment. It needs to allow for normal active children. Hyperactive children simply do not exist. Most boys are highly active and for a good reason. It relates to the survival of the species. Think about it!

And common LOGIC dictates what is so apparent: WE ARE A PART OF NATURE NOT APART FROM NATURE.  Your child is acting normal! Put him or her outside in the fresh air with God’s bountiful sunshine and allow for activity. Take advantage of the high activity level and enroll your child in a great sports program. Wear him or her out on the soccer field or playing a ball game like baseball or camping out with a Scout Troop, etc., etc. etc. Instead of drugging up your kid, set him up for recognition for his athletic ability. Take advantage of the GIFT of being a healthy active HUMAN being.

Don’t bury your loved one in an early grave because you lack the courage to say NO. Don’t just say it, shout  “NO”There is beauty in courage. There is no need to water the flowers you place on the grave of your precious child with your tears. Tears should be shed only for joy.

INVITE the dim wit who insisted your child become a lab rat to take the drug instead. Yes, insist they go on the drug first. Look into their horrified eyes when they scream, “What?”

bix 2

I’m ready for the sandbox.

If you are not a strong advocate for your child, NO ONE WILL BE. That is why God gave you HIS child – to shelter the deeply loved from the storms of Life, to protect, to Honor, to serve, and LOVE above all things on this Earth. And Love my Friend, is courage.

Please take the time to research these substances and have your precious son or daughter removed from them. I would also change my physician. If he or she has taken the convenient and profitable way to medically treat your family, then he or she needs to be removed from service.

Obviously, the good Doctor has not researched the topic to the degree enough to reach a compassionate, reliably informed and reasonable conclusion. The qualifications of physicians also follow, like everything else in life, the bell-shaped curve of probability. Some are at the lower end of expectations relative to the awareness of what they do. Some will write a prescription for anything. Just be sure to pay the bill on your way out.

Motor vehicle deaths as recently as 2013 totaled 32,719. But, in recent years, there has been an annual average of about 400,000 drug related deaths and serious injuries in a hospital that could have been prevented (those we know about). Which leads me to conclude that the most dangerous place in this country is not on America’s highways, but in the doctor’s waiting room.

Like Jesus said, “Forgive them, for they know not what they do.” They truly do not know.

Your instinctive and abiding Love for your child allows for insight into what is happening. Please follow your instincts. God has given them to you for a reason. And that reason always points to His abundant Love for you and your child.

Your child is perfection,
as are all of God’s children.

Please remove your children from all substances that tarnish the Will of God. What is truly needed is the abundant Love of our Lord that flows through you. That is all your children will ever need.

“The point,

complicated, twisted beauty
the beauty of courage,

        The point is for beauty.

A BAYLOR UNIVERSITY professor made national headlines
for his simple act of kindness.

Katy Humphrey, a U.S. Marine and full-time college student, wife and mother, had her babysitter cancel on her at the last minute. Not one to miss class, her only option was to take her 4-month-old daughter, Millie, to class.

She’d hoped Millie wouldn’t be too disruptive to the class, but not long into the lecture, she became fussy.

But rather than shaming Katy or asking her leave class, the professor, Dr. Darryn Willoughby, just walked on over, picked her up, and kept on lecturing without missing a beat.

Millie was absolutely content in his arms for the rest of the class. “I didn’t want Katy to feel uncomfortable, because there was nothing to feel uncomfortable about,” says Willoughby, an associate professor of health, human performance and recreation and director of Baylor’s Exercise and Biochemical Nutrition Laboratory. “Taking care of others in a time of need and when it is not a time of need, just loving and caring about others – that’s God’s purpose.”

What a great example of the caring community at Baylor! I know. I attended Baylor for four years, graduating with the degree Doctor of Education in 1977. I experienced such Love and compassion from everyone, everyday. I cannot recommend a University more highly than Baylor University.

The Nature of God’s Love / Hon. Melvin Simons Remembered / Friday: Shakespeare Rehearsal at School

“Love is the fire
that warms our lives
with unparalleled joy
and Divine hope.”
– Dieter F. Uchtdorf

a_093

                  Love is the fire.

I have learned with deep sadness
of the passing of the
Hon. Judge Melvin Simons
who graciously visited the Anderson Private School
to share his memories of service in World War II.
It was very difficult for him to recount the horrors of war.
But he did, and through the tears, for the sake of our children.
They needed to know
Of the sacrifices made by so many
so that they may be free from tyranny.
Our students also visited him in Court
and presented him with words of gratitude
and flowers and hugs.
He was deeply moved.

Melvin

Hon. Melvin Simons

His messages of deep compassion
and Faith in the Lord
were shared in a truly Loving manner
with our students and staff.
We could never thank him enough for his
Honorable service to our Nation.
His sacrifices were beyond description.
His Love for everyone was deep and abiding.
No one has done more for our precious freedom
and for the citizens of the United States of America
than Melvin Simons.
It was an Honor and a privilege to know him.

rose

Thank you, Lord, for the precious life of Melvin Simons.

I Pray to our Father in Heaven Above
to Embrace the Beautiful Spirit of this
Noble and courageous man.

Today we are free because of
many, many countless, selfless acts
of bravery on battlefields across the Pacific
and in other theaters of war.
Let us thank and honor
our Veterans.

Simons hug

Mary Alice gives Judge Simons a big hug.

No finer man have I ever known
than Melvin Simons.

We Loved Melvin and deeply admired him.
Please join me in Praying
for the Beautiful Spirit
of this Loving man.
Melvin was willing
to fight and suffer and die
for you
and me.

“Greater love
hath no man than this,

that a man lay down his life
for his friends.”

– John 15:13

Melvin 2

Will Fox presents Judge Simons with a bouquet picked from our own field of Wild Flowers.

He was a man who truly suffered
throughout his life
as a result of the strong emotional
and physical trauma of battle.

Melvin enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1943
where he served three years in combat
as an expert machine gunner
in the hard-fought battle for Peleliu Island in 1944
ending after 73 days of brutal fighting.
In total, the taking of Peleliu
cost nearly 10,000 American lives.

judge

Judge Simons was given a Certificate of Appreciation. Dr. Nelson Eichman (right) joined us in honoring Judge Simons.

Melvin Simons
also fought on Okinawa in 1945,
a battle that lasted 82 days.
More than 12,000 Americans
were killed or missing in action
– the highest number lost in a single battle
in the Pacific war.

simons

Judge Simons informed our students that Freedom is never Free. We have paid a higher price for our Freedom than for anything else on this Earth.

Thank you,
My Dear Lord,
For the precious life of
Melvin Simons.

What a truly
wonderful Gift.

THANK  YOU.

We are different in so very many ways.

My Dear Friends,
Redemption releases us
from the horrible bondage of sin,
and shows us an unbelievably beautiful
new life.

Our transgressions
are ultimately against
ourselves.

And those who also suffer
are our neighbors,
the fellow members
of our family of Man,
those we could have Loved
but failed to Love,
so unknowing, so unaware
that the frail, fragile
design of being only human,
can find us cast upon the shores
of a vast and wild land of temptation
and vile opportunity,
against which human power,
without the help of God,
can become helpless.

butterfly

Found at the Anderson School. You too can enjoy the bounty of God’s Love in the beauty He provides – but ONLY without pesticides!

In the Loving Word
of our Precious Lord,
Redemption refers both
to deliverance from sin
and freedom from the captivity
in which we find ourselves.
There is no greater bondage
than captivity
by an overpowering force
that we really know
very little about.

Redemption shows us an unbelievably beautiful new life.

You are, My Friend,
A person of Infinite Beauty,
possessing Infinite Worth,
created by One
with Infinite Love
for you.

Yes,
we are different
in so very many ways.
But,
we have the same Hearts.
And as long as we Love,
we are one.

One.

We are all
of the same Breath,
the same that God breathed into us
and gave us life.

“The LORD God formed man
from the dust of the ground
and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life,

and man became a living being”
– Genesis 2:7

Love,
my Precious Friends,

is the great Commandment.
Love should be at the very center
of everything we do.

        A Call from Far Beyond.

In the tranquility
of a misty eyed morning,
when the moon has finally
gone to bed,
in the whisper
of the wind
pressing softly
against the awareness
of the dream I’m living in,
I can be surely waking
to a Call
from far beyond.

When the birds are,
In their joyful hearts
singing,
let us rejoice.
Spring has found
a reason for being.
And the joy
you find in sharing
all the Love hidden
in your precious Heart,
can become your reason
for living.

hummingbird-hovering

            In their joyful heart.

From Heaven Above,
the Signs are spread like a blanket
across the beautiful Earth
upon which we daily trod.

The Nature of God’s Love
has never faded away,
never strayed.
It is always by your side,
on the ground beneath your feet,
in the Firmament
of the Vault of Heaven above,
and in the flowers
and in the trees,
and the lonely eyes
of those in need.

amopole

Spread like a blanket across the beautiful Earth.

And we,
enveloped by such Beauty,
such Love,
may finally come to know
within our faintly beating Hearts,
there is time enough
To be
In Love with Life.

This moment
is all you need
to feel the Love inside,
to surely know,
to at last see,
the greatest Gift of all
is really you.
You,
Child of God,
are the most beautiful Blessing
that shall ever be.

And you
are filled with Grace.

To say thank you
is really all God wants,
all He needs.

God’s Love has never faded away.

My Friends,
what your child wants
you knew before this day:
to stay a little bit closer,
linger longer than
you need to be.
Hear what your child
has to say,
so he can dream
the night away.
To see your child dance again,
and truly play
in Life’s very brief game,
take him
by the hand,
show him the way.

And when your pride
has ceased its gleaming,
and hate
is past its prime,
Love
will find its meaning
and tomorrow
and forever
Can be entwined.

Eternity,
has always been,
always
will be,
by the Grace of Almighty God,
your destiny
as the Beautiful Flower
of your Being
blossoms into Worlds
far beyond belief.

Goodnight.

Rose

“Love is the only bow of life’s dark cloud.
It is the Morning and Evening Star.
It shines upon the cradle of the babe,
and sheds its radiance upon the quiet tomb.
It is the Mother of Art,
inspirer of poet, patriot, and philosopher.
It is the air and light of every heart,
builder of every home,
kinder of every fire on every hearth.
It was the first dream of immortality.
It fills the world with melody.
Love is the magician,
the enchanter that changes worthless things to joy,
and makes right royal kings of common clay.”
– Robert Green Ingersol

The Flowering of Forgiveness

‘Tis always,
It seems,
The Night before
Your only tomorrow,
The last evening
Of our Season of Sunsets
Forever lost and unimagined,
Even in our dreams,
That we come to know
This moment
Is our only possession.

The Horizon
Of such awareness,
Births inner Beauty
Held inviolate within,
And without
compare.
Such a Gift
We find in
The vision
Of early Dawn,
In our brief day
On this Earth.

“Have you ever watched a sunrise
And felt you could not breathe?
What if it’s Him?
What if it’s God speaking?”
– Ronnie C. Freeman. Jr.

You can never arrive
Where you really are,
Be what your Heart
Wants you to be,
Until you know
Who you have truly been,
And that your dreams
Become
You.

dark pic

Shadows deepening of doubt and despair.

Upon an Altar
Of Innocence
Were we laid.
From Love everlasting
Were we Lovingly
Made.
And there,
By the Grace
Of God,
We may return.

With such awakening,
Is born a Flowering
Of selfless thought,
And Redemption
Through our deeds.

Life
Need not be lived
In the shadows of
Deepening doubt,
Of desperate despair,
But in the Sunlit brilliance
Of the Light
Of your hidden Love.

Beautiful Flowers planted by the seed of thought and deed.

My Dear Friends,
The path to tranquility
For your fragile mind,
Your very delicate Heart,
Lies through the pages
Of God’s Precious Word.
Each Syllable
Is a gentle step
Toward Home,
To His Heart,
And yours.

Thy word
is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light
unto my path.

– Psalms 119:105

His Soothing Word
Can resonate
In the Soul,
Truly echo
Through the brevity
Of time
As we have
On this Earth.

The Compass of your Heart will show you the way.

“Let Thy goodness
like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart
to Thee”
– R. Huff, B. Darnall, M. W. Smith

No landscape artist that ever lived
Could put upon canvas
Such beauty
As may be found
Hidden
In your Heart.

Don’t let the Sacred Inner Beauty
Escape you.
Remember, my Precious Friend,
That every day with you
Can a Masterpiece be.

After the last bright rays
Of the fading sun
Have turned to gray,
The Dignity of a day
With you,
Basking in
The Beautiful shadow of your Being,
Can continue to be
The Paradise
Of someone’s remembrance,
Someone’s Dream.

reflection

Such Radiance as dwells within.

If it’s cold here
In your Heart,
The fire in your eyes
Can softly burn,
The words you Lovingly speak
Can slowly turn
Another world spinning round and round.
When you think
Of all the Love
Hidden deep inside,
Is it really ever too late
To let Love be our guide?

As you open wide
Your arms in warm embrace
Of another to Love,
Someone deeply in need,
The Gates of God’s Love
Are flung open wide,
And the Love in your Life
Is Heaven
To another in need
Of Hope,
Of the beautiful Flowers
Planted by the seed
Of your thought,
Of your deed.

bird in flight

A Sacred moment you shall never live again.

How is it possible that such Radiance
As dwells within
Can be unnoticed?
Let us rejoice,
That this Miracle of Beauty,
This Heart Divine,
Loving ever thus,
Beats within.

As your Life and your Love
Are transfigured into
The hopes and dreams
Of someone lost
In the space
Between your thoughts,
Your anguished moments,
Of displeasure and pain,
Become
As a hammer
Against cloth.

When somehow,
Sameness is not the same,
If you play
And it’s not a game,
And your dreams
Are filled with regret and pain,
Remember,
The Creative Power
Of all the Love
That dwells hidden inside
Is far more powerful
Than that of destruction.

sun II

Evening Star and Sun is set.

The consuming fire
Of what you come to
No longer cherish,
Of what you have lost,
Cannot compare
To that of Baptism
In the Deep Waters
Of God’s Love.

Every second
You are with your Life,
Is a Sacred moment
You shall
Never live again.

The Compass
Of your Heart
Will show you the way.
It varies not
Far from the Truth.
If you listen,
Lingering long enough,
The path
That lay before you
Will be lit
By the lamp of another,
Holding an Eternal Light
For you.

Then another precious Life
Becomes you,
And the rhythm of the
Living waters
That you are,
Rolls on
Through a deepening River
Of no return,
And into the next
Past,
Which is no longer
Today,
No longer
You.

Vivid and bright,
In memories of Life
Lived for another,
In Dreams of the night.

Between
The beats of your Heart
Lies another dimension
Of Love
Unseen.
Between the Sun that sets
And the next sunbeam,
Is the World
In which you will live
In but a Dream.

Life lived well
Is always
For another.

Never walk alone,
Then sleep well
My Friend.

And
Goodnight.

Memories of Life lived through another.

From Examiner.com:

It cannot be said enough;
Movement
helps ease depression symptoms.
We read it study after study,

Most people tend to ignore
that movement helps people
deal with depression more naturally.

Exercise not only helps motivate people
and builds their self-esteem,
it actually helps balance
the chemicals called neurotransmitters
such as dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine.
Studies suggest that 30 minutes
of moderately intense exercise
five days a week
can reduce depression by 50%.

“Why dose the body
with antidepressants
or force words
out of a person’s mouth
when there are better methods
to treat depression?

 Dance can set people free
on a physical and, especially,
a psychological level.”

And you
Shall no longer be
In sufferance,
For you
Are not there.
You
And your precious Heart
And mind and Soul
And busy
Elsewhere.

You cannot be
In two places
At one time.

How to fight inflammation with food
by

Too many of people deal with headaches, exhaustion, weight gain and other awful symptoms on a daily basis, but what many of these people don’t realize is that these symptoms aren’t normal.

Our bodies were built to feel amazing every day and the majority of us accept feeling tired, bloated and foggy brained on a daily basis. Furthermore, many of my clients deal with food cravings, mood swings and pain each week and they’re in a constant struggle to get themselves back to feeling “normal” again.

Inflammation can be caused by stress, mold, pesticides, mercury, hidden parasites, bacteria and viruses in our body as well as by eating an inflammatory diet filled with table salt, sugar, white flours, refined vegetable oils and processed foods, all of which lack nutrients our body needs on a daily basis to function optimally.

Here are a few anti-inflammatory foods you can start to incorporate in your daily meals and snacks. Buy a few of these foods each week (Sundays are a great day to stock up) and use them throughout the week in your meals and snacks. You can also bring these foods with you to work to snack on in between meals to keep your blood sugar stable. Get creative and add these foods to your morning smoothie, your afternoon salad and your evening stir-fries or whole grain dishes for extra anti-inflammatory boost.

2.      Blueberries

3.      Cruciferous vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower)

4.      Ground flaxseeds

5.      Fermented vegetables (such as kimchi, sauerkraut)

6.      Dark leafy greens (spinach, collard greens, Swiss chard, kale)

7.      Fresh ginger

8.      Turmeric

9.      Garlic

10.  Fresh rosemary

You can also start to add in anti-inflammatory foods that are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, fiber, healthy fats, protein and complex carbohydrates on a daily basis so that you are keeping your inflammation in check.

3 easy ways to get better sleep without drugs

Adequate sleep plays a critical role in the function of our immune system, metabolism, heart function, blood pressure, weight control, in addition to how we learn, comprehend and remember things.

Create a spa-like environment by ensuring your bedroom is the right temperature, cool is always better. Start a humidifier, maybe even one that also creates white noise like Vicks Cool Moisture Humidifier; which will make it easier to breathe and is instantly relaxing. Keep your bedroom clean and organized because sleep can certainly be more challenging in a dirty space. Turn on some spa-type music, keep it very low, and allow yourself to drift away.

deer

Prepare for sleep through yoga and meditation. This may sound like an overwhelming nightly practice but it doesn’t have to be. Since both yoga and meditation are about breath, just taking a few minutes within your spa-like bedroom to sit on your bed, legs stretched out in front of you, to breathe deeply in through your nose and out through mouth will make an incredible difference. Stretching before sleep will also enable your body to relax more quickly.

Shutting down all kinds of the electronic devices in your home at least an hour before your planned bedtime. The bright screens and information overload plays a large role in the sleep-deprived nation we’ve become over the past ten years. If you are struggling to get to sleep and stay asleep, your phone, computer and television could be to blame. Turn everything off and give yourself the quiet time your body deserves.
