A Deeper Reality

‘The intuitive mind is a Sacred Gift,
the rational mind its faithful servant.
We have created a society
that honors the servant
and has forgotten the Gift’.
Albert Einstein

Deep within us,
beneath
the surface of our conscious mind,
is a place we do not know.
It is
a deeper mind
within.

Most people are far, far away
from this level of awareness.
They live on the fast paced,
often violent surface of the Earth,
with all of its illusions, opportunities,
adventures and misadventures
and misfortunes.

But deep within
there is a burning desire,
a never ending yearning
to find the true
meaning of our
existence.skippy-first-picture-b-jpeg-1200-psi20170204_14324330

Someone
must teach you that Life
is lived for Love and Joy.
I have my Mother to thank.
– – –  Thank You !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This longing
emanates
from a deeper place
we can only find
within
each of us.

It is
the very Human Heart
in which
our Creator Lives.

When God Created Man
in His Own Image,
He made Mankind
to share
Divine Prerogatives.

YOU

different.
You are the most excellent
of all God’s Beautiful Creations.
You are a special expression
of Divine Nature,
Created by God’s own Personal Activity.
God created you with Solemnity

and with the Honor of an intimate
Divine deliberation.
He created you
with such Love
as you Love
your precious Child.
You are
deeply Loved,
Divine Child
of God.

       Yes.
There is a deeper reality.

If this knowledge
can be realized,
if it can be accepted,
WE
will be able to envision
a new reason
for Life
and for Living.

How much
is a person responsible
for their own
destiny?
Can knowledge
arise from within
to reassure someone
that Life is not
a singular, lonely journey,
leading to nowhere,
to nothing
but death?skippy-first-pictures-no-two-jpeg-240-psi20170204_15175412

That’s me! A few years back and very much in Love with Life.

  Or can Life be Lived
with the Love
of God
to guide and comfort us?

My Dear Friends,
everyone who Loves,
experiences a relationship
with God.
God dwells deeply within us,
within Infinite
layers of Love.

There is much speculation
about the creative
potential of the mind,
about the degree to which
we can Truly have an impact
upon our own Human experience
here on Earth.sun-set-over-lake-b

Love gives Truth, direction and purpose.

Yes,
the Human mind
creates its own reality.
But there is a
deeper reality,
a Mind
that created YOU,
the Mind of
God.

The mind of Mankind
is constantly striving to gain
privileges, possessions,
and become passionate
about Earthly things.
And the result is
immense suffering,
calamity and discord and death,
not only for ourselves,
but for the whole World.

Beyond the pale of our understanding.

Our Human race,
in its quest to conquer and possess,
to digress into the illusion
of ownership,
has disrupted the Natural World
so much,
that now we are confronted
by challenges on a magnitude
that leave us to question
our own survival.

“There were plants and birds and rocks and things
there was sand and hills and rings.
The Ocean is a desert with it’s Life underground
And a perfect disguise above.
Under the cities lies a Heart made of ground
But the Humans will give no Love.
You see I’ve been through the desert
on a Horse with no name.

It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
‘Cause there ain’t no one for to give you no pain.”

The desire for the perfect relationship – walking off into a romantic sunset with your true love and living happily ever after –  is the Holy Grail of our culture, more cherished than winning the biggest sweepstakes.  But how elusive it is!

Why?

Because the search for the romantic ideal is actually the projected outer form of our inner quest for our soul—only we don’t realize this.  The longing for romance is really our quest for Divine love—for the good, the true and the beautiful within us.  We “fall in love” with another person because we’ve projected our own inner qualities on someone else.  We wouldn’t notice these qualities in this person if they weren’t at least potential within us.

Some of our great poets and playwrights such as Shakespeare understood this — his sonnets can be read as odes to the soul.  But secular society today just doesn’t get it.  So our entertainment industry stimulates an insatiable hunger for romance, and makes huge profits on it.

Romantic love is elusive because who you see is who you are.  You look out at the world through your self-created lens and see only a reflection of yourself and your own qualities and inner patterns, positive and negative.  You only attract a more loving person by becoming more loving yourself.  And you become more loving through practicing small acts of kindness and appreciation daily, and by meditating on love and opening your heart.  You become more loving by falling in love with your own soul—the center of radiant love within you.

Romantic love is also elusive because most relationships are based on a union of only one or two levels or dimensions of your being.  But you have four dimensions: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual.  Most relationships are based on a purely physical level, which fade with age and diminishing sexual energy.  It’s not that sexual attraction isn’t good–it’s just very incomplete–involving only a small part of your whole being.

Some relationships include a union on the emotional as well as the physical level, and fewer still include the mental or intellectual level, but these unions are more stable.

Wholeness in a relationship results from union on all four levels—physical, emotional, mental and Spiritual. While this type is somewhat rarer, it is a relationship of true soul mates.  These unions create those unusually loving, creative and intelligent families that attract the birth of a more advanced soul.  This type of union might also fulfill some other higher purpose, such as co-creating a significant project that serves the world in some way.

The quality of the inner note you sound–in other words, what you actually embody–is what determines whom you attract in your life.  Like attracts like.  If you want to attract a relationship that creates a union on all four levels or frequencies of your being, including the spiritual, you have to be conscious on all four levels, expressing a compatible energy on all these levels.

Types of Love and Relationships If you look closely, you can observe three types of love:

  1. Soul love — based on the Law of Resonance, which is unconditional, unselfish love, given freely and responsibly, leaving the person free to be him/herself, and desiring only the best for the person; this love is experienced  in the heart center;

  2. Personality love, based on the Law of Attachment, which has conditions or hooks in it and tends to trap others; this type of love says, I’ll love you only as long as you love me in return and fulfill my expectations; this love is experienced on more in the emotional, solar plexus center;
  3. A mixture of soul and personality love, which includes an element of unconditional love, but also has many personal expectations, desires and demands; this type is a mixture of solar plexus and heart energy.

Relationship patterns are endlessly fascinating and can be of several types:

1.      Karmic renewals, where you meet the results of your past actions—both positive and negative–from this life or other lives.  These relationships provide opportunities to learn how to truly love someone and/or to forgive past wrongs.

2.      Growth experiences, where for example you learn the lesson of being a responsible householder, providing for your family regardless of the personal cost.  Or the relationship could offer you the opportunity to learn a new spiritual quality, such as patience.  Or perhaps your partner embodies some quality that is lacking in you, such as courage, and you learn to develop it by observing it in him or her.  Men can learn to express archetypal feminine qualities from the woman in their relationship; women learn to express archetypal masculine qualities from the man in their relationship. The goal is for both partners to embody a balance of both qualities, as this creates stability–rather than trying to draw the complimentary energy from the other partner.

3.      Soul partnerships, where the purpose of the relationship has a higher dimension of service to the world in some form.  It’s important to keep the energy flow between the two people in balance with the energy expressed in service.  This can be seen as a flow of energy around a triangle, with one person at each point and service as the third point.  There shouldn’t be too much focus on the service aspect without sufficient energy also devoted to maintaining and deepening the relationship between the two people.

Every relationship offers you the opportunity to discover the unique beauty and gifts of that individual.  Everyone has something they can teach you — either in a positive, helpful way, or in a negative way.  Each relationship is an opportunity to open your heart and connect with the soul of another person.

Take your longing for love a little deeper.  Let it guide you into a deeper experience of union with your Soul, your eternal self.  Allow your heart to open and experience greater love for everyone around you,
for all of life.  As you live in a daily expression of love, you will attract into your life other people who are more loving and supportive.

Knowledge is power,
and LIFE.

Between The Known And What We Believe / GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN / The Sacred Soldiers of our Society: Our Officers of the Peace in the Valley

Think
with your
Heart.

There is a thin veil
between the known,

and what we Believe.

And,
as we struggle

day by day
to survive
and thrive,

we can Pray
and form a bond
with the unknown.
.

And a Song begins to form,
a
 Song
birthed
by the Human Heart

and heard
all the World around.

It blends
with voices in numbers
untold,
as we join in endless Praise
to give Thanks to God
for our precious Gift
of Life,

and all the Love
that abounds.

Never
shall we be
all alone,
when our Hearts
join as one,
in Praise
of the Miracle of Life
and Love through the ages,
  as we grow,
and come to know
more and more
Blessings
abound.

In Time,
we will come to know,
the Miracles of Life
are sent with Love
to all of us
from God Above.
.

We are part of
the Music
of a Magical Moment.

And as we join
in the Song of Life
and listen to the Beautiful Music of
Nature
heard all around,
 it brings us to tears
to know that Life
can be so very Beautiful,
even though
circumstances
can make us forget,
and create regret
we should never
know.

Through all Eternity
all
we need ever
know,
is God’s
Love.

“In Oceans deep
My Faith will stand
And I will call upon
Your Name,

And keep my eyes above the waves.
When oceans rise,
my Soul will rest in
Your Embrace
.
For I am Yours and
You are mine
.”

Joel Houston, Matt Crocker, Salomon Lighthelm

To keep our Faith
in the Divine,
be generous
and be kind,
and keep your Heart
and your eyes
upon the Beauty of the Earth,

and on the Skies,
and upon your Sacred Birth.
For all the Love
which from our Birth

over and around us lies,
we need but give Thee
Thanks and Praise.

Every Blessing
is a Gift.
And every Birth,
a Blessing.

 Today,
let us be so grateful
for the Gift of Life,
grateful for the Beautiful People
all around us,
for the air we breathe,
for the connection we have
with the Divine Love
of God.

As the Beautiful Sky
is opening upon the Dawn
of each new Day,
and the energy of the Universe
pours Life
into every cell
of your precious Being,
stand within the moment,
to give Thanks
and Pray.

May God Bless
YOU
and your precious Family,
and your friends.
Ask the Divine
to cleanse the Sacred Soul
and keep us
on the Path to Fulfillment
of His Wishes and Dreams
for you.

May the abundance of God’s Love
fill your Sacred Heart,
and bring Joy
to you all.

Goodnight.

“Many night’s we’ve Prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our Hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood,
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there’s much to fear.
We were moving mountains
long before we knew we could.
There can be Miracles
When you Believe.
Though Hope is frail,
It’s hard to kill.
Who knows what Miracles
You can achieve
When you Believe.
Somehow you will
You will when you Believe.”

Evil must be mirrored in the face of Courage, or it will overwhelm the innocent.

Our ignorance leaves exposed
parts of the Heart
we keep covered
from our own
deeper selves.

We want so desperately
to stand on the
Purity of Truth.
But we often cower in silence
facing the mirror
of our own fear.

As we tumble
out of our dreams
and back
into what we assume
is reality,
we fall from the Grace
of our Beautiful Imaginings,
and into the moment
of never really knowing
what is real,
what is
True.

patrol_officer-b

Wonderful neighbors and friends.

So very many
of our precious children
knew not
the difference between
now and never,
this moment
and forever.

They came
to a moment in Time
paralyzed in thought,
no longer able to
make sense
of the waking
World –
drifting,
as it were,
in and out
of what
they dreamed of
and hoped for,
and the World
became
a living nightmare.

hispanic_female-b

You are the Guardians of the Gardens of Life.

We watched
as many drowned
in the deep end
of an ocean of drugs and violence,
between innocence and confusion,
between waves
of goodbye
lapping upon our shores.

Indifference and ignorance
stagnated into
Daylight Nights
that seemingly would never end,
and into days
of sufferance with no new
beginning.

“Peace has its victories,
but it takes
Brave men and women

to win them.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Fear
perpetuated itself
in our ignorance,
as we listened not
to the soft, still voices
that cried from within
the fragile Human Hearts
of our precious children.

And we allowed evil
to steal from us
everything that God and Man
held Dearest.

But Hope
rises with the dawn
of a new horizon,
a new awareness,
as we find new meaning
in old lyrics
of Life.

The mirror of our own fear.

My Dear Friends,
we are never really
far from the Light.
On the other side
of our spinning Globe,
it is always
on its way.

And as it spins
round and round and round,
we come face to face with fear,
in a seemingly
never ending dance
with destiny.
And we wait for the Light
of God’s Love,
unaware,
it is always
on its way,
or perhaps,
already
here.

Evil
must be mirrored

or it will overwhelm

And our Children,
My Dear Friends,
are not for the taking.

If alone,
we have not
the courage and the strength,
the insight
and the wisdom,
to do battle
with the forces of darkness,
that for financial or other gain,
would destroy everyone
we truly Love,
then we must fervently Pray
for those
Towers of Strength
surpassing all others,
to come our way.

And God,
in His Wisdom,
provides.

and often
lay down their Precious Lives,

so that our children
may survive

without FEAR.

A Deeper Reality / Natural Drinks To Calm Your Nerves / Sept. 3 (Tuesday) is the First Day of Fall Semester

Deep within us,
beneath
the surface of our conscious mind,
is a place we do not know.
It is
a deeper mind
within.

Most people are far, far away
from this level of awareness.
They live on the fast paced,
often violent surface of the Earth,
with all of its illusions, opportunities,
adventures and misadventures
and misfortunes.

Someone must teach you that Life is lived for Love and Joy. I have my Mother, Marie, to thank.                                – – –  Thank You!

But deep within
there is a burning desire,
a never ending yearning
to find the True
meaning of our
existence.

This longing
emanates
from a deeper place
we can only find
within
each of us.

It is
the very Human Heart,
in which
our Creator lives.

When God created man
in His own image,
He made Mankind
to share
Divine prerogatives.

YOU
are someone great, wonderful and different.
You are the most excellent
of all God’s beautiful creations.
You are a special expression
of Divine Nature,
created by God’s own personal activity.
God created you with Solemnity
and Dignity,
and with the Honor of an intimate
Divine deliberation.

branch-and-sun-bHe created you
with such Love
as you Love
your precious Child.
You are
deeply Loved,
Divine Child
of God.

“Then the Lord God
formed the man of dust from the ground
and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of Life,
and man became a Living creature.”
Genesis 2:7

Only Mankind,
of all God’s creatures,
has a Spirit,
a God-consciousness,
the capacity for knowing God
and holding Spiritual Communion with Him
through Prayer.
purple-flower-one-b

There is a deeper reality.

If this knowledge
can be realized,
if it can be accepted,
WE
will be able to envision
a new reason
for Life
and for living.

skippy-first-pictures-no-two-jpeg-240-psi20170204_15175412

That’s me! A few years back and very much in Love with Life.

How much
is a person responsible
for their own
destiny?
Can knowledge
arise from within
to reassure someone
that Life is not
a singular, lonely journey,
leading to nowhere,
to nothing
but death?

Or can Life be lived
with the Love
of God
to guide and comfort us?

My Dear Friends,
everyone who Loves,
experiences a relationship
with God.
God dwells deeply within us,
within Infinite
layers of Love.

There is much speculation
about the creative
potential of the mind,
about the degree to which
we can truly have an impact
upon our own Human experience
here on Earth.
sun-set-over-lake-b

Love gives Truth, direction and purpose.

Yes,
the Human mind
creates its own reality.
But there is a
deeper reality,
a Mind
that created YOU,
the Mind of
God.

The mind of man
is constantly striving to gain
privileges, possessions,
and become passionate
about Earthly things.
And the result is
immense suffering,
calamity and discord,
not only for ourselves,
but for the whole World.

“Someone’s lost the plan
For the brotherhood of man
And no one’s trying to find it anymore
And the winds become a sigh
For those who hate and those who die,
And the waves are black and slow along the shore.

“And will the grass be gone
from underneath the sky?
Will the golden flower wither soon and die?
Will the fire burn out the land,
And the sea fill up with sand,
Will the last word ever spoken be
WHY?”
Roger Whittaker
Our Human race,
in its quest to conquer and possess,
to digress into the illusion
of ownership,
has disrupted the Natural World
so much,
that now we are confronted
by challenges on a magnitude
that leave us to question
our own survival.

“There were plants and birds and rocks and things
there was sand and hills and rings.
The ocean is a desert with it’s life underground
And a perfect disguise above.
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no Love.
You see I’ve been through the desert
on a Horse with no name.
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
‘Cause there ain’t no one for to give you no pain.”
America

Such illusory, illogical aberrations of thought
bring us out of conscious alignment
with the rhythms of Nature
and Natural Wisdom.
And now,
we find it almost impossible
to align with our deeper,
natural
sense of self.

We cannot
even identify
our self.

“You think you own
whatever land you land on,
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim.
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a Life,
Has a Spirit,
Has a Name.

Come run the hidden pine trails of the Forest.
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth.
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they’re worth.

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers.
The Heron and the Otter are my friends.
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends.

You can own the Earth and still
All you’ll own is Earth,
Until
You can paint
With all the colors of the wind.
Stephen Schwartz

By altering our climate
we create new dimensions
of stress and uncertainty.
We are no longer
prepared for the future,
a future we cannot
predict.

But God,
My Friends,
dwells in the World
we live in.
And He
will prepare you
and strengthen you.
He will Love you.

“The Bible
is a love letter
from God.”
George Norwood, Deepermind.com

Tomorrow
is beyond the pale
of our understanding.
The future will require
a depth of understanding
and knowledge
and Compassion
that only
the Love of God
can provide.

God has placed within you
the strength
for you
to face the difficult times ahead
and deeper intelligence
in His Sacred Knowledge.

The answers lie
buried
deep within.

Goodnight.

7 Natural Drinks That Help To Calm Your Nerves
By Urmet Seepter
.
Relaxing has phenomenal health benefits including reducing stress, insomnia and also discouraging the development of cancer and heart diseases. This post discusses natural drinks that you can take to calm your nerves and relax.

7 Natural Calm-Down Drinks that Will Relax Your Nerves

Pure Coconut Water

Although coconut water has been associated more with its energy-boosting capabilities, it can also help you sleep better. It is an excellent source of magnesium and potassium, the two ingredients that help muscles relax and regulate digestion and improve blood circulation. A small cup of coconut water is richer in potassium than 2 bananas. Also, coconut water is rich in B vitamins that help reduce stress and can also lessen the risks of lower blood pressure and heart attack. It is one of the best remedies you can drink to calm your nerves naturally.

Warm Or Hot Milk

Hot or even warm milk is great for a person who feels that his nerves are shot and they want to fall asleep. Milk contains an amino acid known as tryptophan and this is what helps you calm your nerves. If you want sweet antioxidant boost, mix it with a little honey. Next time you are unable to calm your nerves, just drink warm or hot milk. It can work wonders.

Tart Cherry Juice

According to studies, drinking tart cherry juice has overwhelming benefits to your body. Some of its advantages include reducing inflammation associated with arthritis and heart disease, encouraging normal levels of uric acid (this can ease gout), lowering blood cholesterol, encouraging healthy joints and improving muscle recovery.

It also has great sleep advantages in addition to promoting a lovely skin. It is common to see some of the best athletes take this drink in the middle of their performances.

Herbal Teas

There are many herbal teas that can help your anxiety. However, it is important that whatever tea you choose to take, it should not contain caffeine.

Below are the common herbal teas that you can drink to calm your nerves.

Kava.

This is by far the best known herbal tea for dealing with anxiety. Many times, its effects are likened to those of Buspar, a common anxiety drug, and it appears to possess all the traits of a herbal remedy. This includes being non-addictive, completely natural as well as the fact that it can be consumed whenever needed. However, it is instructive to take note of a few things regarding kava tea. Firstly, the kava tea bought at your local grocery store is not good enough to relax you. While the basic teas provide only 30-50 kavalactones, you need up to 300 or more for you to see any calming effects. The trick is to find a purer herbal tea, such as those that are normally stocked in tea shops. Also, it is advisable to mix it with a drink that contains fats, like coconut milk or butter. Another thing is that kava is very strong and is likely to interact with certain medications. Also, never take it with alcohol. If you have liver disease, kava tea is not for you. NB! This drink must not be taken without a doctor’s nod.

Passionflower Tea.

Passionflower tea works similar to kava. However, it is not strong the way kava is but has lots of benefits. It offers great calming effects the same way kava does but it does not have the side effects associated with kava.

Valerian Root Tea. This type of herbal tea is not necessarily designed for anxiety. However, it still has the calming effects that can soothe anxiety symptoms. Traditionally, valerian tea was used to aid people in sleeping. Many people who suffer from insomnia use valerian root tea to help them catch a few winks of sleep.

Oat Straw

Oat straw may be good for you if you want something to drink to calm your nerves. It is a well known remedy that has been used over the years to cure exhaustion and depression. However, this is not a magic drink that will relieve you of your anxiety in an instant. It must be taken for some time, like a month, for it to have calming effects on you. You can find it in stores that sell natural remedies and herbs.

Green Tea

Green tea has many health benefits, and one of these is stress relief. The reason for its stress relief is mainly because of theanine it contains, an important calming agent. Like the herbal teas above, it is important that you drink decaffeinated green tea. Caffeine is in fact a stimulant and cannot produce the calming effects that you need.

Honey-Infused Drinks

If, for some reason, you cannot use herbal teas, just take any of the drinks mentioned above and infuse them with honey for roughly two weeks. When you feel ready to drink a cup, just mix a table spoon of honey or tea mixture into hot water, hot milk or coconut water and drink it up. It will calm your nerves and help you relax.

Relaxing is important for a healthy person. However, the busy lifestyles that most of us find ourselves in today deprive us of time to relax. But the good news is that there are indeed natural drinks that you can take to calm your nerves.

Worlds Are Created By Love / Foods That Increase Cancer Risk / Friday: Doss Cultural Center

“In the mind,
we doubt and suspect,
and we get a kind of pleasure,
a kind of joy from that.
But in the Heart,
we try to encompass the Full World,
and by Loving the World,
we get JOY.”

Sri Chinmoy

Now
quickly becomes
nevermore.

Time
is enfolded within
layers of illusion.
This moment,
this precious instant
in the swirling sea
of now and never,
then and ever,
can quickly become
nevermore.

The awareness of Self,
of being firmly rooted
in who we truly are,
can enable us
to see that everything around us,
is intensely
ALIVE.

And,
in your dynamic vision
of Life all around,
you discover
that YOU
are truly
alive.

Getting in touch
with your consciousness,
with the awareness inside,
can enable you
to experience true
Happiness.

My Dear Friends,
our perceptions become clouded.
They delude us.
But,
despite what our senses tell us,
we CAN
experience a profound sense
of inner peace
and JOY.

As many religious traditions
have always held,
the natural state of consciousness,
which pervades the entire Universe,
is total Bliss.
And getting into touch with
the clarity of pure consciousness
inside of us,
empowers us to experience
this JOY.
When we do this,
we experience
what is true happiness.

Where the center of your gravity lies.

Yes.
Taking the time
to slow down,
and reflect upon the true nature
of who you are,
and where the center
of your gravity lies,
can have a massively
therapeutic effect.

And
who am I?

My Friends,
the Universe is apparently filled
with particles and anti-particles
dancing into and out of
existence
billions of times
each second
.

Yes.

They disappear and reappear in reality.
But,
where do they go?
.
Quantum physicists now know
they “reappear.”
They appear, and then they disappear.
But,
different ones appear.

This fact,
that the particles
of which WE are made,
reappear and are always
different
when they reappear
,
conveys a simple and powerful
message:
we are all connected,
we are truly
one.

Consciousness Moves to Another Universe After Death.

This is much like
the air we breathe.
Each breath
is taken in and
released.
And a new and different breath of air,
with new and different particles,
is taken inside.
We share these particles
with every Living thing
on Earth.

“The third Universal Truth is
that ALL things
– seen and unseen –
are connected.
All things are different faces
of Consciousness.”
–
Michael Brown

Quantum Theory Proves
That Consciousness Moves to Another Universe
After Death.

Consciousness exists outside
of the constraints of Time and Space.
It is able to be anywhere:
in the Human body and outside of it.
That fits well with the basic postulates
of quantum mechanics,

according to which a certain particle can be present
anywhere
and an event can happen
in several, sometimes countless, ways.
learning-mind.com

Oddly,
the more energetic our particles are,
the less time they exist.
They go back into the vast space and vacuum
from whence they came.

Outside of the constraints of Time.

Yes,
there is something very weird going on
in the, so-called, empty space
in our Universe.

To a physicist,
mass and energy are interchangeable.
This tells us
that YOU have an uncertainty in the energy,
of which you are made.
And the greater the uncertainty,
the shorter the time that you are uncertain
about whether particles even exists.

Particles constitute
the origin of all structure today.

So,
in a sense,
YOU,
yourself, are virtual particles
that have become real.

You see Folks,
we don’t really know
what we are
or
that we are
(if we really exist).

“You are becoming
The Song of your Heart.
How Beautiful it is.
As the Flower blossoms forth,
Feel the Earth in your toes.
Oh my child,
you’ll never know
What Tomorrow brings.
So sing, sing, sing.
Rise before the Morning Light.
Let your Soul take its flight.
God is with you
listening.
So sing, sing sing.”
Snatam Kaur and Peter Kater

Let’s wax Philosophical
for a moment.

As we journey through this Life,
we experience moments when it seems
we are not able to see any purpose
in the circumstance
in which we find ourselves.

But,
our Perpetual Creation
tells us that at every moment
the World is the way it is
because God Loves us,
and He perpetually Creates us
in His infinitely dynamic
and Loving Image.

This moment
was created
and brought into being
out of absolute nothingness
by a Loving
Creator.

Faith leads us into the Light

Realizing
that we are far less than half-present,
knowing
that we have not had
a sense of being truly
where we are,
and who we are,
has left precious Life
in the dark.

But Faith,
leads us
into the Light,
the Light of
Love.

As we Pray,
and Meditate,
on the Beauty and Immensity
of our Universe,
we can come to
more fully realize,
that Worlds
are Created by Love.
And,
OUR World
can be recreated
by Love,
and by Love
alone.

“There can be Miracles
When you Believe.
Though Hope is frail
It’s hard to kill.
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe,
Somehow you will,
You will when you
Believe.”
Stephen Schwartz

To everything there is a Season.

Have you
wept for LOVE?
Has a Loved one
wept
for you?

Perhaps,
it is now time
for weeping,
crying
for all the JOY
in Life.

“To everything
there is a Season.
A time to weep,
and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn,
and a time to dance;
Ecclesiastes 3:4

 My Dear Friends,
we experience,
and are aware of,
only a very narrow
slice of Reality.
.
But Time alone
with God,
as you Pray
with all your Heart
to our Father
in Heaven above,
will broaden the
dimensions
in which you truly
dwell.

Goodnight.

Kahlil Gibran “When you are sorrowful
look again
in your Heart,

and you shall see that in Truth
you are weeping for that
which has been your
delight.”

Kahlil Gibran

………………….By Love alone.

“Our mind
is like a cloudy sky:

in essence clear and pure,
but overcast by clouds of delusions.
Just as the thickest clouds can disperse,
so, too, even the heaviest delusions
can be removed from our Mind.”
Kelsang Gyatso
.

Meditate on the Beauty of our Universe.

.
“Heaven and God
are not high above us, far away;
they are deep within us.
Heaven is not a distant country
where there are trees and houses and other objects;
it is a plane of consciousness within us.
Seekers of the Eternal Truth
will realize their Eternal Heaven
within
their aspiring Hearts.

Sri Chinmoy

Dedicated
to my Dear Friend
Laura.
I have been Praying
for you.
And now we
know:
God
answers Prayer.
God Loves You.
And so do
we.

This year, more than 1 million Americans and more than 10 million people worldwide are expected to be diagnosed with cancer, a disease commonly believed to be preventable. Only 5–10% of all cancer cases can be attributed to genetic defects, whereas the remaining 90–95% have their roots in the environment and lifestyle. The lifestyle factors include cigarette smoking, diet (fried foods, red meat), alcohol, sun exposure, environmental pollutants, infections, stress, obesity, and physical inactivity. The evidence indicates that of all cancer-related deaths, almost 25–30% are due to tobacco, as many as 30–35% are linked to diet, about 15–20% are due to infections, and the remaining percentage are due to other factors like radiation, stress, physical activity, environmental pollutants etc.

Top 10 Foods That Increase Cancer Risk

Nearly 1.5 million new cases of cancer were expected to be diagnosed last year–while 559,650 people were expected to die from the disease, according to the American Cancer Society. That’s more than 1,500 people a day–such a startling statistic. In the book Cancer: 101 Solutions to a Preventable Epidemic (New Society Publishers, 2007) the authors write that the Number 4 solution is to “Eat a Healthy Diet.

Listed below are the 10 Foods and Drinks to Limit or Eliminate:

1. All charred food, which create heterocyclic aromatic amines, known carcinogens. Even dark toast is suspect.

2. Well-done red meat. Medium or rare is better, little or no red meat is best.

Be healthy.  –  Be LOVING.

3. Sugar, both white and brown – which is simply white sugar with molasses added. (See Care2′s Directory of Natural Sweeteners for great, healthy alternatives.)

4. Heavily salted, smoked and pickled foods, which lead to higher rates of stomach cancer.

5. Sodas/soft drinks, which pose health risks, both for what they contain–sugar and various additives
– and for what they replace in the diet
– beverages and foods that provide vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.

6. French fries, chips and snack foods that contain trans fats.

7. Food and drink additives such as aspartame.

8. Excess alcohol.

9. Baked goods, for the acrylamide.

10. Farmed fish, which contains higher levels of toxins such as PCBs.

Tell Your Heart To Say, “YES” / Freeing Your Truest Self / Friday: 1/2 Price Books and A Movie / 2018-19 School Calendar

“Faith
is the assurance of things hoped for,

the conviction of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1

   Life begins again and again.

Taking
a leap of Faith
is just
letting your mind
quietly tell your Heart
to say,
“Yes”.

And
when you do,
when all the trials and sorrows
and suffering and pain
have led you
to this moment,
you will discover,
you were looking for
Home,
and you were Home,
and did not
know it.

We all live under the same sky.

There is Glorious Splendor
in our quest,
this hunger for Life
that lives within,
this thirst for Love
that will never end,
as each day by day
Dawns anew,
and Life
begins again and again.

“We all live under the same sky,
but we don’t all have
the same Horizon.”
Konrad Adenauer

And,
in the Dawn
of our Faith,
we too
are born anew,
and live again.

Let your mind quietly tell your Heart to say, “Yes”.

My Dear Friends,
we are
more than what we seem,
Oh Child of God,
of Unending Grace.

We will never behold
what can never be told,
never held in the mind
of Man,
never found
in Time or Space.
But,
through our Faith
we are born again
by God’s Everlasting
and Loving Grace.

In the Dawn of our Faith.

Like
a candle in the wind,
flickering for the
moment,
the Light
of your Life
can become a reflection
of God’s Love.

Have Faith,
my Friend,
and let the Light
of God’s Love
shine from within.

We don’t all have the same Horizon.

Can knowledge
arise
to reassure someone
that Life is not
a singular, lonely journey,
leading to nowhere,
to nothing
but death?

Life is complicated,
vast and filled with conflicting elements.
No one of us can find
all the answers.
Even endless nights
of worry and toil
will not solve
all of Life’s mysteries.
We may stay up all night
and worry all day,
trying to think through and understand
the complicated events
and circumstances of our lives.
But we will never
fully understand.

“When I applied my mind to know Wisdom,
and to see the business that is done on Earth,
how neither day nor night one’s eyes see sleep;
then I saw all the work of God,
that man cannot find out
the work that is done under the sun.
However much man may toil in seeking,
he will not find it out;
even though a wise man claims to know,
he cannot find it out.

Ecclesiastes 8:16-17

These words were penned
by one of the Wisest men
of the ancient World,
a man known for Wisdom
throughout his reign as
the King of Israel.
And yet,
he admitted that mankind
cannot know
all the answers.

Our diligence in thoughtful labor
will not unravel Life’s mysteries:
“However much man may toil in seeking,
he will not find it out.”
We will still be left asking
the Eternal,
Why?

“For as the Heavens are higher than the Earth,
so are My Ways higher than your ways
and My Thoughts than your thoughts,”
Isaiah 55:9

Hebrews 11:1 reassures us
that Faith  is
“being sure of what we hope for
and certain of what we do not see.”

Nothing
is more important than Faith,
our Belief in and Trust
in something without proof.
The Bible
has much to say about Faith
and how important it is.
It is so important
that without Faith,
we have no place with God,
and it is impossible to please Him.
(Hebrews 11:6).

Faith is Belief
in the one, true God,
without actually seeing Him.

“Bad things happen to good people
just about as often as they

happen to bad people.
We have not been given a shield
protecting us from misfortune,
but there is within all of us,
waiting to be discovered,
the strength to deal with adversity,
to overcome it, and learn from it
so we can still find
Love, laughter and joy
despite it.”

Michael Josephson

In this time of fear
When prayer so often
Proved in vain,
Hope seemed like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away.
Yet now I’m standing here,
With Heart so full I can’t explain,
Seeking Faith and speaking words
I never thought I’d say.
There can be miracles
when you Believe.
Though Hope is frail
It’s hard to kill,
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe.
Somehow you will.

You will when
you Believe.”

Stephen Schwartz

By Faith
Abel offered a pleasing sacrifice to the Lord;
by faith Noah prepared the ark in a time when rain was unknown;
by faith Abraham left his home and obeyed God’s command
to go he knew not where, then willingly offered up his only son;
by faith Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt;
by faith Rahab received the spies of Israel and saved her life.

Many heroes of Faith
are mentioned in the Bible
“who through Faith
conquered kingdoms,
administered justice,
gained what was promised;
shut the mouths of Lions,
quenched the fury of flames,
escaped the edge of the sword;
had weakness was turned to strength;
became powerful in battle and routed armies”.
Faith is demonstrated by action.

Let YOUR Faith
be YOUR strength.

Goodnight.

  Able to “move mountains”.

“Faith”,
Jesus says,
“If it were the size of even
the smallest of the seeds,
the mustard bush,
they would be able to
move mountains.”
Matthew 17:20

“Stress, depression, and anxiety
are caused when we are living
to please others.”
Paulo Coehlo

Freeing Your Truest Self
When You’ve Been Anxious
to Please Everyone Else

I came from a broken and very poor family. My father left the house during my teenage years, and it was just my mother, little brother, and I remaining.

Like most single parents going through the hardships of single handedly caring for two children, my mother was often anxious about my well-being. And she overcompensated for her anxiety by being overbearing.

I unfortunately inherited this anxiety.

For the longest time, it was a daily battle for me.

You know the feeling.

Your muscles tense up, you feel an overwhelming sense of fear, and your heart begins to race.

It’s the uncomfortable worries that surface as you play out worst-case scenarios in your head.

Though we can feel anxiety about debt, work pressures, or any number of challenges, for me, it was mostly triggered by the fear of not being good enough and disappointing other people.

Professor Harry Lacey

Professor Lacey teaches Latin, Greek & Epic Literature.

My struggle with anxiety was one of the most crippling experiences, and as a result, I never grew.

So, is it really possible to overcome anxiety?

I realized the answer is yes, but first I needed to understand where my anxiety was coming from.

Anxiety is Your Brain Trying to Protect You

There’s a small, almond-sized part of your brain known as the amygdala whose main job is to look out for your survival. For example, if a mountain lion were chasing you, your amygdala would trigger fear so that it would activate your body to run for your life or grab a weapon to fight.

Your amygdala doesn’t only watch out for your physical survival. You feel the same kind of fear when you are nervous about giving a public speech or going on a first date.

When you experience anxiety in these situations, it’s your brain’s way of trying to help you survive emotionally.

Unfortunately, your amygdala is not the greatest at accurately gauging how dangerous a situation might be. It often blows things way out of proportion.

I remember what it felt like when I was a kid and wouldn’t see my mother the whole day because she was always working late. I’d wait for her to talk about something I was excited about only to have her turn the conversation toward things about myself that I should be improving.

Even though this was her way of trying to make sure I survive in the world, because we were barely getting by, the constant requests to do things better made me feel like I wasn’t good enough.

It felt like no matter what I did, I could never fully please her. If I accomplished something she requested of me, I’d get a quick “thank you,” then she’d move on to talk about what else I should do.

Philippe Arrighi teaches French and French History and Culture.

I found it most hurtful when she would talk about how great someone else was. She’d update me about some amazing thing that one of her client’s children had accomplished and suggest that I should try to follow in that person’s footsteps.

All that did was make me think that something was wrong with me.

I ended up with low self-esteem, and because I thought I was worthless, nothing was scarier than the thought of making mistakes and failing, because that would confirm that I was not good enough.

This was why I never took too many risks and searched only for options that seemed to have a guarantee for success.

My anxiety made me develop a behavior of perfectionism, and it was ruining my life. The more I let it make my decisions for me, or lack of decisions for that matter, the further I felt from who I wanted to become.

Ironically, becoming a perfectionist was my brain’s solution to helping me feel good enough.

“Perfectionism
is the belief that if we live perfect,
look perfect, and act perfect,
we can minimize or avoid the pain
of blame, judgement, and shame.
It’s a shield.”

Brené Brown

This toxic behavior put me in an endless cycle of working hard to achieve all sorts of cool things so that one day, I might feel good about myself. In reality, every accomplishment felt anti-climactic. I was always dissatisfied and constantly looking for the next big accomplishment to chase.

No matter how much I succeeded, it was never enough for me, just like I never felt like I was enough for other people.

It wasn’t until I met someone who could see the real me that I finally figured out how to overcome my anxiety.

The Power of a Safe Space

When I was a teenager, a man named Anthony saved my life. If it weren’t for him, I would’ve gone down a much more self-destructive path.

He never questioned the mistakes I’d made unless I wanted to talk about them. And when I didn’t want to talk about them, he’d openly share his own horrible mistakes.

I never once felt judged by him, nor did I feel like he had a set of expectations for me.

Anthony helped me feel safe.

People touched by you will not be ordinary anymore.

People touched by
you will not be
ordinary anymore.

I realized for the first time that for most of my life, I didn’t feel safe to be who I was.

I was almost always in survival mode, shielding myself emotionally. All my behavior was in reaction to the anxiety of not feeling good enough for other people.

Being in a safe space finally helped me put my guard down and look at myself objectively. It was in these moments that I became deeply aware that being a perfectionist wasn’t the answer to my anxiety, and that I was heading down a path toward depression.

I didn’t come to this realization sooner because the pre-frontal cortex, the thinking part of the brain, is turned off when the brain’s in survival mode. This pre-frontal cortex is what’s capable of rational behavior, critical thinking, and emotional regulation.

The only way to calm down the survival mode of your brain is to place yourself in environments where you feel safe.

The thinking part of your brain will help you understand where your anxiety comes from and figure out an effective way to handle it.

It was in this safe space that I finally realized that I had the power and responsibility to stay true to myself.

How I Overcame My Anxiety

Deep down, I hated myself for constantly giving in to other people’s expectations of me and for letting their standards determine my self-worth.

But the reality is that I let this happen.

And here’s the even harsher truth.

I let it happen because it’s much easier to live a life that someone else wants you to live.

The scariest part is that once you take ownership of the one life you have, you have no one to blame if things go wrong. At least following someone else’s path gave me the right to blame him or her.

My brain would rather me let others’ standards dictate my life and sacrifice my mental health than do anything that might make me experience the emotional pain of looking like a failure and falling short of someone’s standards.

Now that I knew all my anxiety was coming from my brain being in survival mode, I needed to figure out a way to regularly calm it down.

A beautiful sunset at the Anderson School.

This was when I discovered meditation.

I learned that brain scans in studies have revealed that meditation calms the amygdala and activates the thinking part of your brain.

I started using the free version of an app called Head space, and I learned how effective it can be to simply be present and enter a state of awareness.

For most of my life, I’d been tossed left and right by my circumstances and was a slave to my emotional reactions. Meditation helped me become more aware of why I was behaving the way I did, especially in these reactive moments.

I finally saw that almost all my anxiety led to irrational thoughts and behaviors.

For example, I remember when I decided to start my business, it was hard to build my audience. Nobody was reading any of my articles, and I wasn’t getting any traffic on my website.

I’ve given up on other ventures plenty of times before, and I was ready to give up on this one too. I took it personally and started telling myself the familiar narrative that I didn’t have what it takes. I just wasn’t good enough. Then I recognized that I was reacting to my anxiety as I’d always done, and I could choose a different way.

I was able to be aware and think to myself, “I’m feeling anxious right now because this moment feels similar to a couple of painful experiences I had in the past.”

The moment I became aware of this I gave myself the power to make a choice rather than to habitually react.

So I told myself, “The old you would put yourself down and give up, but the new you can try to assess the situation objectively and see what is really setting you back.”

After doing this, I was finally able to grasp that I didn’t have business challenges because of my character, but most likely because of the strategies and tactics I was using to market myself. Once I used different strategies, I got different results.

Your Best Life Starting Now

In order to live our best life, we have to calm our anxiety about disappointing other people and not being good enough, and find the courage to be true to ourselves.

It is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make, but it will also be one of the best.

The first step to changing my life for the better was having awareness. The next key step was focus.

What you focus on is usually what you will gravitate toward.

The key to living your best life is not to run away from who you were, but to run toward who you want to become.

As I meditated, my anxiety calmed down and I started to have such a clear idea of the person I wanted to be.

I no longer wanted to be the anxious person who thought he was worthless. I wanted to become a great husband, father, and leader. Rather than worrying about not being able to meet these expectations, I started to engage the thinking part of my brain to figure out what needed to be done.

I didn’t have all the answers, but I knew I could only make this life I wanted a reality if I started making changes and learned as I went.

I wanted to learn what it took to become a better husband, so I started going to marriage counseling.

I wanted to become a better parent, so I researched how children are wired and how to best communicate with them.

I wanted to be a better leader, so I invested in credible leadership and coaching courses.

And I did these things not because I wanted to prove something to myself, but more because it mattered to me deeply and I knew it was a part of who I truly was.

I’ve spent too much time running away from opportunities for growth because I was afraid I might not be good enough. The problem, though, was that I was running away without knowing where I wanted to go. I ended up in destinations where I felt more lost than ever, and my anxiety kept catching up to me in the end.

Now, whenever I experience anxiety, I tell myself, “This is anxiety.” I thank my brain for looking out for me and then I ask myself, “What do I need to focus on in this moment, and how can I get it?”

Then, surprisingly, the anxiety calms down and the thinking part of my brain activates to try and figure out the best way to go about things.

This is what changed everything for me.

And I know it can for you too.

While people might have expectations for you, the world desperately needs the power that comes from you living your most authentic life.

If you are battling anxiety about not being good enough or pleasing other people, take a moment to slow down and acknowledge what you are experiencing. Then, identify what you need to feel safe so you can turn on the thinking part of your brain and start uncovering the answers you most need. That might mean meditating, talking to a close friend, or even just getting out in nature for a walk.

It’s time to take a deep breath, be compassionate with yourself, and decide who it is you want to be.

Stay aware and focused and you’ll be there sooner than you think.

‘The intuitive mind is a Sacred Gift,
the rational mind its faithful servant.
We have created a society
that honors the servant
and has forgotten the Gift’.
– Albert Einstein

Deep within us,
beneath
the surface of our conscious mind,
is a place we do not know.
It is
a deeper mind
within.

Most people are far, far away
from this level of awareness.
They live on the fast paced,
often violent surface of the Earth,
with all of its illusions, opportunities,
adventures and misadventures
and misfortunes.

But deep within
there is a burning desire,
a never ending yearning
to find the true
meaning of our
existence.

Someone must teach you that Life is lived for Love and Joy. I have my Mother to thank.  – – –  Thank You!

This longing
emanates
from a deeper place
we can only find
within
each of us.

It is
the very Human Heart
in which
our Creator lives.

When God created man
in His own image
He made Mankind
to share
Divine prerogatives.

YOU
are someone great, wonderful and different.
You are the most excellent
of all God’s beautiful creations.
You are a special expression
of Divine Nature,
created by God’s own personal activity.
God created you with Solemnity
and Dignity,
and with the Honor of an intimate
Divine deliberation.
branch-and-sun-bHe created you
with such Love
as you Love
your precious Child.
You are
deeply Loved,
Divine Child
of God.

“Then the Lord God
formed the man of dust from the ground
and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life,
and man became a living creature.”
Genesis 2:7

Only Mankind,
of all God’s creatures,
has a Spirit,
a God-consciousness,
the capacity for knowing God
and holding Spiritual Communion with Him
through Prayer.

       There is a deeper reality.

If this knowledge
can be realized,
if it can be accepted,
WE
will be able to envision
a new reason
for Life
and for living.

How much
is a person responsible
for their own
destiny?
Can knowledge
arise from within
to reassure someone
that Life is not
a singular, lonely journey,
leading to nowhere,
to nothing
but death?

skippy-first-pictures-no-two-jpeg-240-psi20170204_15175412

That’s me! A few years back and very much in Love with Life.

  Or can Life be lived
with the Love
of God
to guide and comfort us?

 My Dear Friends,
everyone who Loves,
experiences a relationship
with God.
God dwells deeply within us,
within Infinite
layers of Love.

There is much speculation
about the creative
potential of the mind,
about the degree to which
we can truly have an impact
upon our own Human experience
here on Earth.

Love gives truth, direction and purpose.

Yes,
the Human mind
creates its own reality.
But there is a
deeper reality,
a Mind
that created YOU,
the Mind of
God.

The mind of man
is constantly striving to gain
privileges, possessions,
and become passionate
about Earthly things.
And the result is
immense suffering,
calamity and discord,
not only for ourselves,
but for the whole World.

“Someone’s lost the plan
For the brotherhood of man
And no one’s trying to find it anymore
And the winds become a sigh
For those who hate and those who die,
And the waves are black and slow along the shore.

“And will the grass be gone
from underneath the sky?
Will the golden flower wither soon and die?
Will the fire burn out the land,
And the sea fill up with sand,
Will the last word ever spoken be
WHY?”
Roger Whittaker

Beyond the pale of our understanding.

Our Human race,
in its quest to conquer and possess,
to digress into the illusion
of ownership,
has disrupted the Natural World
so much,
that now we are confronted
by challenges on a magnitude
that leave us to question
our own survival.

“There were plants and birds and rocks and things
there was sand and hills and rings.
The ocean is a desert with it’s life underground
And a perfect disguise above.
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no Love.
You see I’ve been through the desert
on a Horse with no name.

It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
‘Cause there ain’t no one for to give you no pain.”
America

Such illusory, illogical aberrations of thought
bring us out of conscious alignment
with the rhythms of Nature
and Natural Wisdom.
And now,
we find it almost impossible
to align with our deeper,
natural
sense of self.

We cannot
even identify
our self.

“You think you own
whatever land you land on,

The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim.
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a Life,
Has a Spirit,
Has a Name.

Come run the hidden pine trails of the Forest.
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth.
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they’re worth.

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers.
The Heron and the Otter are my friends.
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends.

You can own the Earth and still
All you’ll own is Earth,
Until

You can paint
With all the colors of the wind.
Stephen Schwartz

By altering our climate
we create new dimensions
of stress and uncertainty.
We are no longer
prepared for the future,
a future we cannot
predict.

moon-and-reflection-over-water

But God,
My Friends,
dwells in the World
we live in.
And He
will prepare you
and strengthen you.
He will Love you.

“The Bible
is a love letter
from God.

George Norwood, Deepermind.com

Tomorrow
is beyond the pale
of our understanding.
The future will require
a depth of understanding
and knowledge
and Compassion
that only
the Love of God
can provide.

God has placed within you
the strength
for you
to face the difficult times ahead
and deeper intelligence
in His Sacred Knowledge.

The answers lie
buried
deep within.

Goodnight.

7 Natural Drinks That Help To Calm Your Nerves

Relaxing has phenomenal health benefits including reducing stress, insomnia and also discouraging the development of cancer and heart diseases. This post discusses natural drinks that you can take to calm your nerves and relax.

7 Natural Calm-Down Drinks that Will Relax Your Nerves

Also, it is advisable to mix it with a drink that contains fats, like coconut milk or butter.Another thing is that kava is very strong and is likely to interact with certain medications.
