We live in two Worlds.
The Song your Life

can become
like a Beautiful Prayer.
Such is the music
that gives meaning
to Life,
and everything else
there.

My Dear Friends,
no one can take
what lives within,
for your dreams
are Sunshine Things.
They do not melt
in the dark.
Tomorrow appears
when we close our eyes
and see with Hope
in our Heart,
and not with what lies
brilliantly lit by the Sun
in disguise.

The dawn of things far more than real.
We live
in two Worlds:
one is the Dawn,
the other mirrors the Dawn
of things far more than real,
that we so very deeply
Love
we breathe
Life into them,
that we cherish
above all things
and carry forever
in our Hearts,
that we create
and no one can take apart,
that we Believe in
and celebrate
in song,
as we so joyfully
sing along
all night long
in dreams waking
to the wonder
of who we are.
Dreams are sunshine things.
The reflections of our thoughts
and our dreams
look through us
and into the future,
to see what eyes
cannot see
and open the gate
to a tomorrow
no longer held in the arms
of the past.
My Friends,
the mirror
is doing the
looking.
The world of our
imagination
is where we truly Live,
where we
belong.
Far more than figment,
it is the light bearer
of tomorrow,
the touchstone of reality,
without which
we shall not thrive,
and never survive.

No one can take what lives within.
Imagination is far more real than reality.
It is more important
than knowledge,
which is very limited
to what we now know and
think we understand.
Imagination embraces Worlds
unknown,
and perhaps unknowable,
without nurturing an environment
where dreams really do
come true.
Reality is a projection of what we IMAGINE.
And far more importantly,
through a child’s eyes,
JOY and wonder
are what imagination brings.
For without JOY,
why dream and wonder
at all?

may have more properly said,
“To make an apple pie
first you must invent
a Universe.”
Without JOY, why dream and wonder at all?
We live in a beautiful Universe.
But it is a Universe
of our own making,
created within the infinite depths
of the Human mind
and the Human Heart.
It is a projection
of what we believe,
what we want,
what we need,
what we IMAGINE.
And WHAT fires
the Human mind
to create such unfathomable Beauty
as may be found
all around
and in our tomorrow?
The mirror is doing the looking.

We live in an Unfathomable Universe of OUR OWN MAKING.
Sleep well my Friends,

for what truly matters:
all the Love in your Heart
to give to another,
the words
in your Song
to sing
until Dawn,
the time to spend
Loving others,
the Joy you refine
and define,
as we live
and come alive again
to share the happiness
you give,
and give,
and give.
One is the Dawn, the other mirrors the Dawn of things far more than real.
The real Dawn
is in your dreams,
in your Spirit Divine
that lives within.
It lights the path
for those who follow
and have never seen.
The children of tomorrow
live between
the Loving Thoughts
of God
and your very beautiful
dreams.

The beautiful Old Mill
What an Adventure
On our adventuresome trip to Little Rock last week
we learned about Central High School’s place
in the civil rights movement,
explored the Clinton Presidential Center,
toured the Old Mill (a real work of art and Dr. A’s favorite)
and imagined a world free of hunger
and poverty at the Heifer Village.

Sometimes you just need to get up and stretch.
We also enjoyed
the historical bus tour of
Little Rock,
enjoyed the interactive and informative
displays at the Museum of Discovery,
shopped at the Farmer’s Market,
explored the Maritime Museum, holding a collection from the Arkansas River Historical Society featuring the history of the Arkansas River,
and experienced the sights, sounds, and smells
of submarine service when we stepped
aboard the historic submarine
USS Razorback.
This fabulous Museum hosts exhibits dedicated to America’s rich naval history.
What a marvelous tour of the World War II Submarine.
Favorite among many students
were the nine hour rides on the
Amtrak Train.
What a relaxing
and memorable time!
The observation car was truly
delightful. Just ask Dr. A.
He may still be there.
My very sincere gratitude goes to Gina Moreland for planning yet another wonderful and adventuresome trip. You are awesome!
