Sunshine Things Far More Than Real / What an Adventuresome Trip / Thank You

“A million Tomorrows
shall all pass away

Ere I forget all the Joy
that is mine,
Today.”

– Randy Sparks

dawn 1b

          We live in two Worlds.

The Song your Life
is singing,
can become
like a Beautiful Prayer.
Such is the music
that gives meaning
to Life,
and everything else
there.

“There will be another
song for me,

For I will sing it.
There will be another
dream for me,

Someone will bring it.”
Jimmy Webb

My Dear Friends,
no one can take
what lives within,
for your dreams
are Sunshine Things.
They do not melt
in the dark.
Tomorrow appears
when we close our eyes
and see with Hope
in our Heart,
and not with what lies
brilliantly lit by the Sun
in disguise.

“What life does to me
is not the same thing
as who I am.”
– Michael Brown

dawn 3b

The dawn of things far more than real.

We live
in two Worlds:
one is the Dawn,
the other mirrors the Dawn
of things far more than real,
that we so very deeply
Love
we breathe
Life into them,
that we cherish
above all things
and carry forever
in our Hearts,
that we create
and no one can take apart,
that we Believe in
and celebrate
in song,
as we so joyfully
sing along
all night long
in dreams waking
to the wonder
of who we are.

dawn 4b

     Dreams are sunshine things.

The reflections of our thoughts
and our dreams
look through us
and into the future,
to see what eyes
cannot see
and open the gate
to a tomorrow
no longer held in the arms
of the past.

My Friends,
the mirror
is doing the
looking.

The world of our
imagination
is where we truly Live,
where we
belong.
Far more than figment,
it is the light bearer
of tomorrow,
the touchstone of reality,
without which
we shall not thrive,
and never survive.

“Not only is the universe
stranger than we imagine,

it is stranger
than we can imagine.”

Sir Arthur Eddington

sun 2

No one can take what lives within.

Imagination is far more real than reality.
It is more important
than knowledge,
which is very limited
to what we now know and
think we understand.

Imagination embraces Worlds
unknown,
and perhaps unknowable,
without nurturing an environment
where dreams really do
come true.

spray

Reality is a projection of what we IMAGINE.

And far more importantly,
through a child’s eyes,
JOY and wonder
are what imagination brings.
For without JOY,
why dream and wonder
at all?

“Reality is merely an illusion,
albeit a very persistent one.”
– Albert Einstein

Albert reportedly
may have more properly said,
“To make an apple pie
first you must invent
a Universe.”

mix

Without JOY, why dream and wonder at all?

We live in a beautiful Universe.
But it is a Universe
of our own making,
created within the infinite depths
of the Human mind
and the Human Heart.
It is a projection
of what we believe,
what we want,
what we need,
what we IMAGINE.

And WHAT fires
the Human mind
to create such unfathomable Beauty
as may be found
all around
and in our tomorrow?

sun 3

The mirror is doing the looking.

“Imagination is born
when LOVE‘S alive,
a Spirit creating a place
for you and I.
Together let’s ride away
to find the Universe,
and let our dreams
live our lives.”
– Earth, Wind and Fire

universe

We live in an Unfathomable Universe of OUR OWN MAKING.

Sleep well my Friends,
and Pray
for what truly matters:
all the Love in your Heart
to give to another,
the words
in your Song
to sing
until Dawn,
the time to spend
Loving others,
the Joy you refine
and define,
as we live
and come alive again
to share the happiness
you give,
and give,
and give.

dawn 5b

One is the Dawn, the other mirrors the Dawn of things far more than real.

The real Dawn
is in your dreams,
in your Spirit Divine
that lives within.
It lights the path
for those who follow
and have never seen.
The children of tomorrow
live between
the Loving Thoughts
of God
and your very beautiful
dreams.

“Neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present,

nor things to come, nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us
from the Love of God.”
– Romans viii.38, 39.

God still breathes
His Life
into every fiber
of your Being.

Yes,
you can live your Life
again,
and when you
awake,
become what you
dream.

Goodnight.

sun b

God Be with You Till We Meet Again in the Sunshine of Your Dreams.

“Take me to the breaking
of a beautiful dawn.

Take me to the place
where we come from.

Take me to the end
so I can see the start.”

The Wailin’ Jennys

dawn 2b

The Dawn is in your dreams.

“I’ll catch the sun
And never give it back again.
I’ll catch the sun
And keep it for my own.
Perhaps, in time

I’ll even share my sun
With that new anyone
To whom I gave my hand.”
– Rod McKuen

What an Adventure

On our adventuresome trip to Little Rock last week
we learned about Central High School’s place
in the civil rights movement,
explored the Clinton Presidential Center,
toured the Old Mill (a real work of art and Dr. A’s favorite)
and imagined a world free of hunger
and poverty at the Heifer Village.

Sometimes you just need to get up and stretch.

We also enjoyed
the historical bus tour of
Little Rock,
enjoyed the interactive and informative
displays at the Museum of Discovery,
shopped at the Farmer’s Market,
explored the Maritime Museum, holding a collection from the Arkansas River Historical Society featuring the history of the Arkansas River,
and experienced the sights, sounds, and smells
of submarine service when we stepped
aboard the historic submarine
USS Razorback.
This fabulous Museum hosts exhibits dedicated to America’s rich naval history.

What a marvelous tour of the World War II Submarine.

DSC05501Favorite among many students
were the nine hour rides on the
Amtrak Train.
What a relaxing
and memorable time!

The observation car was truly
delightful. Just ask Dr. A.
He may still be there.

My very sincere gratitude goes to Gina Moreland for planning yet another wonderful and adventuresome trip. You are awesome!

And thank you to all the beautiful parents who are always so helpful and generous with their time and their precious Love to all our students and staff. You are deeply appreciated and Loved.

And kids, you are unbelievable and terrific!
Thank you for all truly beautiful memories. Watching you grow in mind and Love and Spirit is more beautiful and precious than any unforgettable Sunset or any Flower sent by God from Heaven Above. Keep laughing. Keep smiling. This is your moment. This is your story. We know you by the Songs that your precious Hearts Sing.

And my most sincere gratitude to LeVonna Anderson for putting up with me for thirty four years. What courage! What fortitude! What Love a Heart can bring. What a beautiful Song a Heart can Sing.

What a truly marvelous Lady!

What a privilege and an Honor to be with you.

Thank you.

The Words To Your Song / ATEX Trash Service / Startling Things Causing Cancer / Household Uses for Hydrogen Peroxide / Friday: at school

“Unless you experience
genuine affection,

you will never know
true joy and contentment

in life.”
– Dr. Charles Stanley

sun

Eyes are blinded by this rising Sun.

Lightning strikes,
and the drum beat of Love
reflects the sound
of another Heart,
the One from
Above.

Eyes are blinded
by this rising Sun,
like the death of night
when time
was begun.

a_021

   Miracles abound and all around.

Our World
blazes bright
as we come
within sight
of someone
we truly Love.
And the song we hear,
from the joy we feel,
becomes the music
of our tears,
falling through
the years.

a_068

Blessed days countless in number.

We come
from a past
so frail
in our deeds,
Infrequent in our dance,
celebration
with little elation,
almost unknown romance,
so unaware
of the tides
washing aplenty upon
our shores,
of Blessed days,
Sacred nights,
countless in number
to adore.

a_081

Open your eyes to the Love all around.

My Dear Friends,
Miracles abound,
and all around.
And this day,
today,
is the most Beautiful
I have found.

Open your Heart,
open your eyes,
to the Love
all around:
in the eyes
of our children,
in the smiles
of our friends,
in the fellowship
of our neighbors,
in the precious Life
God has given us
to savor.

This joyous moment
can last
your whole life long.
Just remember the words
to your song,
and sing along.

Goodnight.

“Greater He
that is in you
than he
that is in the world.”

        Our World blazes bright.

From our friends at the Underground Health Reporter:
My Friends,
we MUST become proactive and informed
to protect our children and ourselves
from the environment and products around us.
Please take the time to research and read.
To Love someone takes time, knowledge
and courage. Arm yourselves and your precious
children with knowledge and the will to survive.

We are at WAR
with ourselves.

 Startling Things You Never Suspected
Could Cause Cancer (but they do)
by Danica Collins

Most laundry detergents (The 1,4-dioxane found in laundry detergent is particularly harmful in the fact that the chemical binds easily to water and remains there. Even after water containing the chemical has been purified and filtered, low levels have been detected, indicating that it is not easily removed from water.

DSC03445

I’m done with the nap and the Sun!

Numerous water supplies across the country have been found to be tainted with 1,4-dioxane. Try PENTA water (my favorite). Expensive? Well, a little pricey. But CHEAP compared to a stay in the hospital. And not painful at all. In fact, the company advertises that it “gives you a feeling of well being”. I found this to be true. Place it in the refrigerator and get it cold. Then drink a full bottle when you get up in the morning. Yes, you will have a feeling of well being. This good clean water, with a great taste, makes me float around the house for a long time. It’s not just an advertising line, it is true. Our fragile human bodies react beautifully to the good things, and the things that are good for you in life.

Hi. I’m Lila. And I own this place.

11. All laundry detergent (Unilever) – 0.6 ppm
12. Dreft powdered detergent (P&G) – non-detectable (ND)

Now, what do I do? This reminds me of the time when, in 1984, I finally realized that smoking tobacco was going to kill me and death would come in a very painful and miserable way. Yes, I left the good Doctor’s office, and thought about what he said: “Bill, remember, ALL SMOKERS QUIT!”. I toddled home, and THREW AWAY all tobacco products, including my beloved briar wood pipe.

Yes, throw all the dangerous products away. TODAY. The very best investment you can possibly make is in the health and safety of your children and yourself. If you hesitate, it could be the costliest moment in your life or the life of your child.

Other Startling Things You Never Suspected
Could Cause Cancer:
Granite countertops (which emit radon)
High doses of Vitamin E
Repressed anger (Yes, let it all out, but not on each other! A good pillow fight helps. The loser can clean up the feathers.)
Rancid peanuts and seeds
Canola oil
Chronic inflammation
Canned tomatoes (Yes, the can is the problem)
Food laced with pesticides (Simple solution: buy ORGANIC!)
Vitamin D deficiency in the body (Simple solution: get out of the house. Go outside and enjoy God’s beautiful gift of sunshine. Did you know the further away from the equator you go, the higher the level of vitamin d deficiency diseases such as  multiple sclerosis, Dementia (Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia),  Prostate cancer, Schizophrenia, and Heart disease. Symptoms of deficiency include pain, muscle weakness, increased blood pressure, and depression. read more

Vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin because the body naturally produces it when the skin is directly exposed to sunlight. You can also get the necessary daily amount through your diet or supplements. Vitamin D-rich foods include milk, cheese, and fatty fish like tuna, salmon, and mackerel. Certain foods such as cereals, orange juice, soy products, yogurt, and margarine are sometimes fortified with vitamin D.

The National Institutes of Health recommends that most adults get about 600 IUs (International Units) of vitamin D daily.

More Startling Things You Never Suspected
Could Cause Cancer:

Mammograms
Food microwaved in plastic containers (including
plastic wrap, the plastic trays that come with frozen
TV dinners, and even plastic baby bottles)
