The Power of Your Love / Is Death an Illusion? / Friday: Japanese and Rose Gardens

Organic
Food for Thought.

There comes a point
in Space and Time,
in a place
that is mine,
where Love
merges with
Reality,
where YOU
are aligned with
the Perfection of
Being.

When
your affection for another
is deep enough,
and your devotion
Treasured
beyond Belief,
the abiding power of your Love
can change
the very nature
of Reality,
and YOU.

                A Pathway is illumined.

Yes,
a profound outpouring
of Love has,
on many occasions,
resulted in Miraculous events
and inexplicable results.

One such Miracle
happens
when two people
fall deeply in
Love,
and Miracle of Miracles:
A Child in Born.

We may not
think of birth
as Miraculous,
but it is widely recognized
as such.

      Miracle of Miracles

When
two people
experience such Love,
a Pathway is illumined
to the Transcendence
of all perception and reason
and even Time itself.

And
the door to this Pathway
may be opened,
and closed,
by YOUR
Heart.

Love
comes
from
within.

            A reflection of God’s desire.

The realm
of Timeless Love
is evidenced by
YOU.
Your Life
is the result
of countless and timeless
phases
of Love’s full Moon,
of God’s strong desire
for Mankind
to march forward
and carry on.

The Power of Love
is the power
over Death.

Love’s
Eternal Quest
to live in a perpetual
state of motion
is indeed
the most powerful thing
in the Universe.

Infinity of Life,
the longing
for Tomorrow,
surpasses all expressions
and all possessions
sheltered in our
desires,
or dreamt of
in our Dreams.

 “Love knows no limit
to its endurance,
no end to its Trust,
no fading of its Hope;
it can outlast anything.
It is, in fact,
the one thing
that still stands
when all else
has fallen.”
1 Corinthians 13 7-8

Our
felt Love
is mirrored in,
and emanates from,
and through
every
act of Compassion,
every
fulfillment of desire
to help others:
the homeless, the sick,
the destitute,
those who feel
lost
and without the Love
needed
to continue Life.

“Death
leaves a heartache
no one can heal,
Love
leaves a memory
not one can
steal.”
Beethoven

Each act of Caring
is a reflection
of God’s desire
to sustain Life,
to extend His Compassion
and share His
Love.

Let us not
simply Love
those around us.
Give them
permission
to Love.

For they may not
truly understand
how much
Life is in Love
with them.
They may
never know
that Life
is Love,
that Love
is the only reason
to live,
and that Love
is the reason
they are
alive.

My Dear Friends,
God is Love,
and so are
YOU.

“I Love thee with a Love
I seemed to lose with my lost Saints,
I Love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my Life!
and, if God choose,
I shall but Love thee better
after death.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Love begins
in a moment
and ends
in Eternity.
The Love you share
today
can mirror
the Eternal Love
of God.

Life can leave you
with an all-encompassing sense
of Love,
with a true connection
with everything, everywhere.

We exist
in a continuous and infinite
field of inseparability,
and in constant relationship
with everything.

Our mysterious existence
gives rise to a feeling
of Loving curiosity.
Our desire to become one
with this Mystery
is a Spiritual Love
emanating from a Heartfelt need
to unify
all of Life.

Every thought
we have ever had,
in the seeming privacy
of our own mind,
has been shaped in relationship
with the thoughts
of everyone we have ever known,
and everyone they have ever known,
and on and on and on
it goes.

What we think
is influenced by other people,
and by every experience
we have ever had,
with every living
and every non-living thing
on this precious
Earth,
and by God
in Heaven Above.

Nothing
is separate
from anything else.

We are one.

Humanity
is in the process
of trans-formative growth
that can lead us
to deep self-reflection.
Our Humanity
can
grow and Blossom
in profound and empowering
ways.

Joao de Deus (John of God)

“We have all been polished
again and again
by the impact of other people’s
rough edges
colliding with our own,
wearing down the irregularities
of our emotional
and mental surfaces, our egos,
hitting our weak points
and causing the occasional fracture.
Through this process,
humanity collectively moves
blow by blow,
back toward our awareness
of the deeper and gem-like perfection
within each of us.”

There are
Infinite ways
to discover True Love,
and Infinite days
for Love
to last.

Yes,
True Love
is destined to last
until we realize,
there is no end
of Time,
for Time
does not exist.
But Love
does.

Love
is the only thing
that truly does
exist.

Goodnight.

                   Love truly does exist.

“Love is the only bow of life’s dark cloud.
It is the Morning and Evening Star.
It shines upon the cradle of the babe,
and sheds its radiance upon the quiet tomb.
It is the Mother of Art,
inspirer of poet, patriot, and philosopher.
It is the air and light of every heart,
builder of every home,
kinder of every fire on every hearth.
It was the first dream of immortality.
It fills the world with melody.
Love is the magician,
the enchanter that changes worthless things to Joy,
and makes right royal Kings of common clay.”

Is Death an Illusion?
Evidence Suggests Death
Isn’t the End.

Life is an adventure
that transcends our ordinary
linear way of thinking.

By Robert Lanza M.D.

“…his mentors described him [Lanza] as a “genius,”
a “renegade” thinker, even likening him to Einstein.”
.

After the death of his old friend, Albert Einstein said “Now Besso has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me.
That means nothing.  People like us – know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.

Robert Lanza M.D.

New evidence continues to suggest that Einstein was right, death is an illusion.

Our classical way of thinking is based on the belief that the world has an objective observer-independent existence. But a long list of experiments shows just the opposite. We think life is just the activity of carbon and an admixture of molecules: we live awhile and then rot into the ground.

We believe in death because we’ve been taught we die. Also, of course, because we associate ourselves with our body and we know bodies die. End of story.  But biocentrisma new theory of everything, tells us death may not be the terminal event we think.  Amazingly, if you add life and consciousness to the equation, you can explain some of the biggest puzzles of science. For instance, it becomes clear why space and time – and even the properties of matter itself – depend on the observer. It also becomes clear why the laws, forces, and constants of the universe appear to be exquisitely fine-tuned for the existence of life.

Until we recognize the Universe in our heads, attempts to understand reality will remain a road to nowhere.

Lanza Named One of the Top 50 “World Thinkers”

Lanza Featured in Fortune MagazineDr. Lanza selected as one of Prospect Magazine’s “World Thinkers 2015.” The thinkers were chosen for “engaging in original and profound ways with the central questions of the world today.
.

In truth, you can’t see anything through the bone that surrounds your brain. Your eyes are not portals to the world. Everything you see and experience right now‚ even your body, is a whirl of information occurring in your mind. According to biocentrism, space and time aren’t the hard, cold objects we think. Wave your hand through the air – if you take everything away, what’s left? Nothing. The same thing applies for time. Space and time are simply the tools for putting everything together.

Life is an adventure that transcends our ordinary linear way of thinking. When we die, we do so not in the random billiard-ball-matrix but in the inescapable-life-matrix. Life has a non-linear dimensionality;
it’s like a perennial flower that returns to bloom in the multiverse.

“The influences of the senses,” said Ralph Waldo Emerson “has in most men overpowered the mind to the degree that the walls of space and time have come to look solid, real and insurmountable; and to speak with levity of these limits in the world is the sign of insanity.

Why You Will Always Exist

Photo of a Countryside Cemetery

There is no death. Only the beginning.                   – Robert Lanza

You’ve laughed and cried. And you may even fall in love and grow old with someone, only to be ripped apart in the end by death and disease. The universe leaves you dead or grieving with a hole in you as big as infinity.

Can life really be reduced to the laws of physics, or are we part of something more noble and triumphant?

Are we part of a depraved cosmic joke, the product of a vast and ruthless Universe?

Through the eyes of science, you’re a speck of junk spinning around the core of the Milky Way galaxy, which itself is whirling through the unfathomable blackness of space. It’s all in the equations, you know. Nothing to get philosophical about. Nobel physicist Steven Weinberg summed it up best:

The effort to understand the universe is one of the very few things that lifts human life a little bit above the level of a farce and gives it some of the grace of a tragedy.

A Lot Like Heaven / The Bio-Initiative Report / Friday: At School for Shakespeare Rehearsal

Dedicated
to my precious Mother,
Marie Gaul Anderson.

            HELLO to Love

When Sundown
pales the sky,
when it is time
to say goodbye,
have we
ever truly said
HELLO,
hello to Love,
hello to Life,
to living,
to laughter,
to leaving?

Have we
greeted the Evening
of Life,
as we did
our Morning?

Did we ever
truly come to know
the Sun that rises,
is the same Sun
that sets,
that the Heart
that beats for one
can live for all
and die without
regret,
that the Light
of Love
can shine
throughout our lives
and into the Hearts
of each and every
one?

     The same Sun that sets.

From where I came,
the Earth
looked a lot like Heaven.
Smiles
came from one
who gave me
Life,
who answered my
Prayers,
who forgave me,
sustained me,
and showed me
the Way,
who put me
to bed at night,
and turned on the Light
of Day,
who kept me clothed and fed,
and filled my Life with
Hope and Joy,
day after day after day.

The Child once we were can remain.

She
took me
to Church
and with me
Prayed,
showed me
there is more to Life
than living,
more to receive
in giving,
more to Love
than we can ever
know,
measure,
or understand.

Let us give thanks
for the precious Mothers
of our World.
It is their
Love
that sustains,
that remains,
that lights the Lamp
of Hope.

The Love of a Mother
insures
that the Child
once we were,
can remain.

Goodnight.

         A Lot Like Heaven.

Thank You!

My Dear Friends,
the following information
is truly
IMPORTANT.

Please
read it carefully
and take it
to Heart.

Our precious children
need our guidance
and good judgment.

Each new technology is a whole new World. And under every Flower there,    a serpent lies coiled. – Wm. C. Anderson

Cell Phones and Cancer

The World Health Organization
has classified cell phone radiation
as a class B carcinogen.

Dr. David Carpenter,
Dean at the School of Public Health
State University of New York,
believes that up to 30% of all childhood cancers
are associated with
electromagnetic (EMF) radiation exposure.

Cell phones emit high levels
of electromagnetic radiation
directly into your head,
actually heating it up in the process.
There is increasing amounts of scientific evidence
linking this to brain cancers.

Multiple recent studies,
including international scientists,
are urging governments to place stricter regulations
on cellphone use,
particularly due to the latest outcome
of their investigations:
Young people who use cell phones
before the age of 20
are five times more likely
to be at risk for malignant brain tumors
than children who do not use mobile phones.

Researchers of the 2012 Bioinitiative Report
agree that approximately ten years of cell phone use
may lead to tumors.
There are significant studies that directly correlate
RF radiation from cell phones with brain tumors.

The BioInitiative 2012 Report
was prepared by 29 authors from ten countries,
ten holding medical degrees (MDs), 21 PhDs,
and three MsC, MA or MPHs.
Among the authors are three former presidents of the Bioelectromagnetics Society.

She turned on the Light of Day.

Studies report that:

The chance of developing a brain tumor
goes up as much as 40%
after a decade of cell phone use.
Yes,
people are 5 times more likely
to develop a brain tumor
if they began using a cell phone
before the age of 20.
People have twice the risk
of developing the cancer known as “Glioma”,
if they use their cell phones for half an hour a day
for more than a decade.

People using cell phones for 2000 hours
have 240% greater risk for malignant brain tumors.

A significant report was released in 2009
by the International EMF Collaborative,
a team of international EMF scientists and activists,
entitled “Cell Phones and Brain Tumors:
15 Reasons for Concern, Science, Spin
and the Truth Behind Interphone”.

Another study by an Israeli research group
found that there’s recently been a sharp 4-fold increase
in malignant tumors of the parotid gland
on the side of the face
the cell phone users generally hold the phone.
Parotid tumors have historically been very rare
and have shown up in people after the age of 50.
Most cases since 2001 have occurred
in people under the age of 20.

More to Love than we can ever know.

Cordless land line phones
emit high levels of EMF radiation
and can be even more dangerous than cell phones!
And usually we speak longer on cordless phones

More than 31 million children use cell phones daily
close to four hours a day.
Cell phone radiation danger to children
is especially of concern,
as children absorb 50% more radiation than adults do,
because their skulls are thinner and smaller,
and EMFs penetrate much more deeply into their brains.
Their brains are more conducive to radiation
due to the higher water and ion concentration
in a developing brain.

Many health symptoms
due to cell phone radiation
show up early on and may precede
more serious disorders and diseases.

They include:

Chronic colds & flues
Headaches and “mind-fog”
Digestive disorders
Sleep disturbance.

Memory Loss
Depression/anxiety
Chronic pain
Dizziness

There is more to Life than living.

Brain cancer has now surpassed leukemia
as the number one cancer killing children,
and many scientists believe
this is directly linked to the exponential increases
in cell phone use
and other wireless devices.

One of the most comprehensive studies
testing the cell phone – cancer link on children
was conducted by Professor Lennart Hardell in Sweden.
The results of the study indicate that
children and teens
are 5 times more likely to get brain cancer
if they use cell phones.

A study conducted in 2009
by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt
on autistic children
and their mothers during pregnancy
shows significant results,
strongly suggesting that:

“electromagnetic radiation
in the sleeping environment
of the mothers during pregnancy,
as well as electromagnetic radiation
in the sleeping environment of children,
may be a key contributing factor
if not a causative one –
in neurological impairments in children,
including autism.”

The Deeper Meanings of Life / 10 Love-Filled Ways to Live From Your Heart / Important Dates

Our brief moment in space
  can come to be
such a lonely place.

When
in the melodious refrain

of our lives,
as we kiss each day
goodbye,
we may never fully realize
just how much
we simply cannot
see.

For God Is Glorified
by you and me
becoming alive
in a Heart
that belongs to someone
other than
Thee.

There is a Sacredness to all Life.

Deep down inside,
we may never know why
the deeper meanings
of Life
pass us by.

My Dear Friends,
if we stumble and fall,

after giving Life
it all,
to fail is a right,
we defend.
And if in falling,
we lift
but one precious Soul
above the place
where eyes meet eyes,
then
Life was worth
the living,
and Love
worth giving.

Imperfection
is part
of the very Fabric
of Life.
And the celebration
of Life
is in the
healing.

The sound of Music,
the Song of our Lives,
joins in celebration,
and was long ago
found to be
one of the World’s first medicines
used to cure illness,
attending the Spirit
as it was
reborn.

How much we simply cannot see.

To catch someone
whenever they fall,
pours Sacred Water
on the Soil of Being,
with every teardrop
that falls.

For
the end

of the World,
  can be the beginning
of it all.

“There is no end.
There is no beginning.
There is only
the Infinite passion
of Life.”
Federico Fellini

 There is a
Sacredness to all
Life.

The deeper meanings of Life pass us by.

It is so amazing
how the Words of the Lord
can speak right to the Heart,
how they can
Light up the dark.

God’s Words are proven
to be true and full of Wisdom.

“Every Word of God is pure:
He is a shield unto them
that put their trust in Him.”
Prov. 30:5

In Love
and Eternally mine,
the Love of God

finds that we live
in each other’s Heart,
we are One,
we are the same.

Our Heavenly Father
and His Child
that you are,

dwell in ONE World.
He
holds us within
His Sacred Heart,
as He lives
in yours
and mine.

Love is what you are.

In
the ebb and flow

of emotions
tides,
we may seemingly become
oceans away.

But ever you can feel
  the Love of today,
and ever hear
what it has to say.
For no true Love
  was ever a lie,
and neither
did it die.

Get Love
into your world
and let it hold you
within.
For God is
Love,
and Love is
what you are.

Goodnight.

“I name it silence.
Some people say self, or love, or fullness.
It is actually life itself.”
Gangaji

10 Love-Filled Ways to Live From Your Heart
read more

Living from the heart is incredibly relaxing. You stop using your mind to analyze, plan, organize, and figure everything out. What a relief! As you let go of all of that mind activity, you are able to relax into presence, where there is no trouble and no resistance.

When you live from the Heart, you begin to touch into the universal experience of love. Love is the source of everything – the fabric which makes up our very existence.

Sure, there are many waves in the ocean, but they all are made up of the same thing. Play with letting go of your individual self and live from the eternal ocean of love.

  1. Ask, “What would love do?” In any situation, look for the response that is peaceful and free of stress. Put aside your fears and conditioned habits, and let love guide you.
    .
  2. Let love pervade every conversation. Can you not take your relationships for granted and be more openly loving? Even when things get tense, drop away from your emotional reaction and melt back into love.
    .
  3. Treat yourself like gold. When it comes to love, you are included, too. Tune into what you need and let yourself have it. Live as stress-free a life as possible.
    .
  4. Be here now. Spinning stories in your mind about things that have happened in the past and what might happen in the future take you away from what is here right now. When you are stuck in your mind, it is impossible to be fully in touch with the love that is here. Let your attention explore this very moment. Open your senses, open your heart, and live from there.
    .
  5. Become aware of the oneness of love. Consider this: what if looking out of your eyes is the same as what is looking out of everyone else’s eyes. When you meet an “other,” you are actually meeting the essence of yourself. When you understand this, love is impossible to deny. Check it out with the next person you speak to.
    .
  6. Don’t obsessively plan. In fact, only plan when absolutely necessary. Planning is in the mind, and when you realize how little planning you actually need, there is space to recognize that you are alive right now. And in that aliveness, let your Heart glow.
    .
  7. Make hard choices. When you live from the heart, you begin to be very honest with yourself. You may realize that certain situations or people aren’t working for you. Likewise, you will see your own tendencies that don’t serve. Sometimes, the most loving response you can make is a kind but firm, “No.”
    .
  8. Honor your personality quirks. A funny thing happens when you live from the Heart. As conditioning falls away, your natural gifts and inclinations have space to be expressed. Let your creativity flow in whatever way it wants to. Go where you are guided, learn what you want to learn, enjoy yourself in all your activities.
    .
  9. Bring boundless acceptance to your moment-to-moment experience. Be a kind host to all the emotions and reactions that visit you. The more you resist, the more trouble you will have. Say, “Hello” and let it be.
    .
  10. Get to know the unconditioned, totally free you. When you relax away from all your conditioned habits, you will discover formless space that is clear, open, and inherently loving. Begin to become familiar with this space, as it is the essence of you. Listen, let it guide you. Live here.
    .

In any moment you have a choice – the head or the Heart, inauthenticity or truth, distraction or love. Play around with living more in your Heart. Don’t be shy. Let love in, and life’s greatest treasures will be revealed.

The innate intelligence
of Nature
is far more powerful
and Beautiful

than we can ever
imagine.

Flowers
lift the Spirits
of the Earth.
They sustain Life
with all their
Splendor.

                        They sustain Life.

We can see
every Flower
that is unfolding
as it says
to every Living Thing,
“I Love You”.

And,
as the wind gently whistles
a pale blue sigh
though the lonely leaves
of all the trees,

it plays the music
of Life.

If we listen carefully
we can hear
the wishes of all

Creation
coming True.

To every Living Thing: “I Love You”.

Beauty
is far more than
what it seems.
The constant
motion of Love,
Beauty begins.
And it never really
changes
its meaning.

Life never really wants
more
than Love asks.
And what does Love
ask?
That you care,
that you share,
that
when you are needed,
you are there.

“Yes,
How many times
must a man look up

before he can see the sky?”
Bob Dylan

As the fingers
of our questions
reach
deep into the pockets
of our minds,
we may find
what we are truly
searching for:
our Love
for
every living thing,
and the Love
of God
in
every living thing,
and in us.

Nothing more
could we ask.

“But ask now the Beasts,
and they shall teach Thee;
and the Fowls of the air,
and they shall tell thee:
Or speak to the Earth,
and it shall teach thee:
and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto Thee.
Who knoweth not in all these
that the Hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
In whose Hand is the Soul
of every living thing,
and the breath of all Mankind.
– Job 12:10

                                 What does Love ask?

Watch the Sun
rise in the
eyes
of one you tell
of all the Love
in your Heart.

Yes,
there is Magic
in the moments
we marry,
that are divorced
of time.

We become
so blind
to the deeper
realities of Life.
The Beautiful Creation
you are
is more surprising
and Mysterious
than the feeble mind
of Mankind can
imagine.

Our transitory existence
goes far beyond
the surface dimensions
of Life.

God’s Truth is always joined with Love.

My Dear Friends,
Forgiveness,
Compassion
and Hope
can unleash Mysterious
and powerful forces
within.

Yes,
imperfection
is part of
the very fabric
of Human Life.

But,
Divine Perfection
may be found
in the abundance
of God’s Beauty
and Love.
And it is offered
to us in
each
precious moment
we are on
this Earth.

Knowledge
of God’s Truth
is always
joined
with Love.

Divine Perfection is found in the abundance of God’s Beauty.

The energy in Nature
is never lost,
never destroyed,
only transformed.
And
God’s Love
integrates Eternity.
Nothing
is ever lost,
no tear
is ever forgotten,
and no death
is ever
meaningless.

God
is neither beyond us
or outside of us.
He is
within us.
Each one of us
is a Child
of God.

“Do you not know that
YOU

are a Temple of God
and that the Spirit of God
dwells in you?”
1 Corinthians 3:16

Regardless
of fate’s fearless frown,
God’s Light
pours down.

Ultimate reality
is always Mysterious
and unfathomable.
God’s presence
everywhere
and in all things
is beyond
Human comprehension.
God’s Spiritual Presence
is deep within
the World of matter,
which He
created.

Discover
the Beauty,
the meaning
and the Joy
of your existence.

In the cold and lonely moments
of uncertainty,
the Words of our Lord
will warm your Heart
and free your Loving mind.

When shadows pale
the horizon of your Being,
the place to be
is behind your Loving smile,
and deep in your Faith,
trusting in
the patient Love
of your Creator.

Goodnight.

Beauty is far more than what it seems.

” I come to the Garden alone
While the dew is still on the Roses.
And the Voice I hear falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses.

And He walks with me,
and He talks with me
,
And He tells me
I am His own.

And the Joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

He speaks,
and the Sound of His Voice

Is so sweet that the birds hush their singing.
And the Melody that He gave to me,
Within my Heart is ringing.

And He walks with me,
and He talks with me
,
And He tells me
I am His own.

And the Joy we share as we tarry there,
None other
has ever known.”

you should start with a friend
who you hate.”

Life Hacks to Help You Lose Weight

By Jeffrey Kopman        read more

Several simple life hacks can make a huge difference. Changing your diet and getting regular exercise will always be the best way to get healthy, but these tricks can help too, and won’t take much time or effort.

Most people make many little mistakes throughout the day that can add up to form really unhealthy habits. What are some simple ways to correct these problems?

* Lack of exposure to a varied temperature, whole populations may be prone to develop diseases like obesity,” researchers at Maastricht University Medical Center in The Netherlands wrote in a study published in Trends in Endocrinology & Metabolism earlier this year.

The researchers suggested that regular exposure to mild cold could be a simple way to help people lose weight.

*  You should be drinking lots of water. But the best way to do this and lose weight is to replace other drinks with water.

This cheap and effective trick will eliminate sugary and high calorie drinks and replace them with a healthier alternative, according to a study presented at the 240th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society.

“People should drink more water and less sugary, high calorie drinks. It’s a simple way to facilitate weight management,” Brenda Davy, Ph.D., senior author on the study said in a press release. “We found that over the course of 12 weeks, dieters who drank water before meals, three times per day, lost about 5 pounds more than dieters who did not increase their water intake.”

*  People who were given pedometers were more likely to participate in physical activity than those who did not, according to research from The International Association of Applied Psychology.

These devices make it easier to track how much exercise you’re getting and how many more steps you should be taking. Reaching your goals can be made with small adjustments throughout your day, something a pedometer will highlight — instantly.

 *  Using a standing desk for three hours a day will help you burn an extra 144 calories per day, according to a study from the University of Chester in the United Kingdom.

“This is the perfect way for any office-bound worker to achieve the typical New Year’s resolution of wanting to lose weight without changing anything else — how easy is that?” said Dr. John Buckley, Reader of Applied Exercise Science in Health and lead Lecturer for the University’s MSc in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, in a press release.

* One major cause of the obesity epidemic in America is an inability to control portion sizes. But this easy life hack can help you lose weight without even realizing it.

To make sure your portions are in control, use smaller plates, bowls or glasses. Research shows that people perceive the amount of food they’re eating differently based on the plate size they use.

One cup of food on a small plate looks like more than the same amount of food on a large plate, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

* In addition to changing the size of the plate you eat off of, consider switching the color of the plate as well.

Yes, even the color can affect how much food you’re eating, and either encourage or discourage overeating.

A Cornell University study found that eating food off a plate of contrasting color would help people reduce the amount they are eating. The study called this mind-over-matter practice “critical” for some people’s portion control.

* Here’s one to try right away: Slow down!

No, don’t slow down your exercise — slow down your eating. When you stuff your face full of food in mere moments, you’re not giving your body a chance to feel full until all the food is gone.

Similar to eating off of smaller plates, slowing down your pace will help you feel full without overeating. Eating too quickly leaves you full of more food than necessary.

Recently, researchers found that eating slowly led to increased fullness ratings in both normal-weight and overweight/obese participants, according to a study from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

 * It’s easy to get in the habit of paying for everything with a debit or credit card, just like it’s easy to get in the habit of eating and ordering too much food.

Paying with cash will serve as a psychological trick to keep your wallet full and your stomach just full enough.

People who pay with cards spent far more at Fast Food Restaurants ($4.50 compared to $7.00) than those who paid with cash, according to data from NerdWallet.

Similarly, people who paid with cash at grocery stores made smarter food choices, partially because they didn’t impulse buy junk food, according to a study published in the Journal of Consumer Research.

   Hachikō

LOVE
is simple,
and truly Beautiful.

Hachikō was an Akita dog
born on a farm
near the city of Ōdate, Japan.
He is remembered to this day
for undying Love and loyalty
to his owner, Dr. Eisaburo Ueno,
a professor at Tokyo University.

The professor’s home
was in Tokyo
and he commuted to Komaba
and the agricultural experimental station
in Nishihara.

Hachiko 2On May 21, 1925,
Dr. Ueno did not return.
He had suffered a stroke
and died at the University.

Hachiko was 18 months old.
The next day and
for the next nine years,
Hachiko returned to the station
and waited for his beloved master
before walking home,
alone.

Nothing and no one
could discourage Hachiko
from maintaining his nightly vigil.
It was not until he followed his master in death
that Hachiko failed to appear
at his waiting place at the railroad station.
Hachiko was sent to the homes
of relatives or friends,
but he always continued to await his master,
who was never to return
at the train station.

Hachikō was given away
after his master’s death,
but he routinely escaped,
returning again and again to his old home.
Eventually, Hachikō apparently realized
that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house.
So he went to look for his master at the train station
where he had accompanied him so many times before.
Each day, Hachikō waited for the return of his owner.

Hachiko bronzThe permanent fixture
at the train station
that was Hachikō
attracted the attention
of other commuters.
Many of the people who frequented the train station
had seen Hachikō and Professor Ueno
together each day.
They brought Hachikō treats and food
to nourish him during his wait.

This continued for nine yearsHachiko 3
with Hachikō appearing precisely
when the train was due at the station.

Hachiko’s fidelity to his master
was known throughout Japan.

During his lifetime Hachiko was held up
in Japanese culture
as an example of true Love, loyalty and fidelity.
He continues to be remembered.

Hachiko statue

Upon Hachiko’s death,
newspaper stories led to the suggestion
that a statue be erected
at the train station.
Contributions from people
in the United States
and other countries were received.
Today, a statue of Hachiko
pays silent tribute
to his faithfulness, his loyalty,
to his Love.
It was erected at his waiting spot
outside the Shibuya railroad station,
which is now the most popular rendezvous point
in Shibuya.

REUNITED bThe famous story of Hachiko
overlooks the fact
that before his master’s passing,
the two would happily reunite
every evening
and walk home together.

In 2015 a new statue was erected showing Hachiko, as he’s rarely been depicted before, bursting with joy upon seeing his owner.
The University of Tokyo erected a bronze statue of Dr. Ueno and Hachiko
on its campus, together at last.

Hachiko’s ashes rest
beside those of his beloved master.

it really does exist.

We are all on a journey.

My Dear Friends,
stop holding your breath.
ONLY Love shines the way
into Paradise!

Yes,
Love can move
in slow motion,
somewhere below
the speed of Life.
But it also moves
at the speed of LIGHT,
between your smiles
and the moments
that take
your breath away.

To be in Love
with Life
is to be searching
for your Soul

Anything less
than Love,
is a flash dance
  with death.

Your passion for Life,
your search for Love,
your compassion
for others,
for ALL of God’s
beautiful Creations,
make Life happen.

Our culture
has vastly restricted our sense
of what is possible.
But it is time
My Friends,
to transcend
our self-imposed limits.

Though we have seen the Truth,
we keep losing sight of it,
and then,
we have to find it again.

We are all on a journey
to encounter Love,
to find the Ultimate Truth,
UNKNOWING,
so very unaware,
it lies
through the door
of our Faith,
between the covers
of a Book
more widely read
than any other
ever published on
this Earth –
The Holy Bible.

and where
you should have been going
all along.

“One’s age should be tranquil,

but the morning and evening
should be alike
calm and cheerful.”

Alcohol
is not about a drink,
it is about
Truth.

Those in sufferance of alcoholism
can tell you exactly how long
they have been sober.

Why?

They keep alive the memory
of their last drink.

Why?

With every Blessed new day,
just one day at a time,
they take one more step
down the very long,
seemingly eternal path
to recovery,
if they survive.

Unknowingly, they were influenced
to ingest the horrendous
excrement of bacteria
known as alcohol.

flowers

             Listen to the words.

The truth,
which was never shared with them,
could have set them free,
the TRUTH about what exactly it was
they were filling their precious
and Sacred lives with.

ALL alcoholic drinks
are made by fermentation caused by bacteria
feeding on the yeast cells, then defecating.
This bacterial excrement is called
ALCOHOL.

Yeast are microbial fungi.
They are the cause of fermentation,
eating the sugars and pooping alcohol
while burping CO2.

With ongoing exposure to alcohol,
the brain starts to adapt to these chemical changes.
When alcohol is present in the brain for long periods
the brain seeks to compensate for its effects.
To restore a balanced state,
the function of certain neurotransmitters
begins to change so that the brain
can perform more normally
in the presence of alcohol.

Our natural world is beautiful at every level.

With acute intoxication
the brain chemistry is altered.
The child you sent out
into this deceptive world,
who becomes an alcoholic,
is NOT the same child
his precious Mother gave birth to.
Yes,
if dependence to alcohol develops,
brain chemistry is altered.

Alcohol acts on receptors
that inhibit nerve transmission;
the earliest inhibition
is in the very front of the brain
where our inhibitions and judgements are stored.
The higher the dose,
the more sedation,
and in very high doses sleep, coma and
death.
Cirrhosis is a chronic liver disease
that is the result of damage to liver tissue
with scarring of the liver causing progressive
decrease in liver function,
excessive fluid in the abdomen,
bleeding disorders, increased pressure
in the blood vessels, and
brain function disorders.
Excessive alcohol use
is the leading cause of cirrhosis.
Can you waste years of your precious life
spent in drunken waste
caused by bacterial waste?

Yes. Yes.

Yes!

I have been witness
to so very many who have truly suffered
and lost everything in life
their health, the precious and vital Love
of those around them,
their family, their home,
their once very beautiful
dignity.

They count their days spent
walking down a very lonely path
with no hope, no friends and no Salvation.
All that went before
is water over the dam.
It is much like,
they never existed.

Alcohol use can also lead to
increased risk of other health problems
such as injuries, violence and cancer.

Nearly 88,000 people
die from alcohol-related causes annually,
making it the fourth leading preventable cause
of death in the United States alone.

dead king 2

The Ghost of Hamlet’s Father

In 2012, 3.3 million deaths,
or 5.9 percent of all global deaths
were attributable to alcohol consumption.
More than 10 percent of all U.S. children
live with a parent with alcohol problems.
1,825 college students die
from alcohol-related unintentional injuries,
including motor-vehicle crashes.

696,000 students between the ages of 18 and 24
are assaulted by another student who has been drinking.

97,000 students between the ages of 18 and 24
report experiencing alcohol-related
sexual assault or date rape.

And the list just goes
on and on and on and on.

My Friends,
another Truth
relates to other drinks
you, and your children,
need to know about:
they use the artificial sweetener
aspartame.

Many Diet drinks contain
the artificial sweetener aspartame,
produced from the waste
produced by genetically modified
E. coli bacteria
.

This bacterial waste is treated
to turn the large peptide
and a free carboxyl group
into a dipeptide.
The dipeptides are then treated with alcohol
and methanol
to produce aspartame.

The patent for this product
refers to “cloned microorganisms”
later (?) revealed to be genetically
modified E. coli bacteria.
They are modified to produce
an especially large peptide used to create
aspartame.DSC03575

The cultivated and well-fed bacteria
then produce proteins
which contain the aspartic acid – phenylalanine
amino acid segment
required to produce the sweetener.

Many Diet drinks
contain the artificial sweetener aspartame,
produced from the waste
produced by genetically modified
E. coli bacteria
.

Yuk!

The European patent for aspartame
is now available online,
and it confirms the artificial sweetener
is made from the waste products
of genetically modified E. coli bacteria.

One diet drink company ran an ad campaign
defending their use of aspartame,
saying studies support the product’s
safety.

My Dear Friends,
what are we filling
the precious lives of
our children with?
How did our society
evolve into such a heartless,
mindless morass of
misaligned and morbid
immorality?

Perhaps,
we should fill our minds
and our Hearts
with the Truth,
first.

Children
cannot protect themselves.
That is our job!

Arm yourself
and place the Armour of God
around your child!
And that Armour is as simple as
TRUTH.

And please,
do not fail to also
VOTE with your DOLLARS.
I beg of you,
do not spend your
hard earned money
to support uncaring corporations
bent ONLY upon increasing their
bottom line
at the expense of the health of our
very Precious Children.

“Stand firm
in the belt of TRUTH

buckled around your waist”
– Ephesians 6:14.

The belt of truth involves two places;
our hearts and our minds.
Truth keeps us secure
and makes effective the other armour.
The belt of truth holds our amour in place.
Walk in the light of God’s Truth.

“Teach me your ways, O Lord,
that I may live according to your
truth!”

– Psalm 86:11

pic 2

        The TRUTH is beautiful.

My Precious Friends,
let me visit with you
about you.

We are very hard on ourselves
about mistakes made long, long ago.
We do not forgive ourselves,
even though we may come to accept
God’s Forgiveness.

“Forgetting the past
and looking forward to what lies ahead
is what God desired for His children.”
– Philippians 3:13b,14

My Friends,
God desires you to ask
for His Forgiveness.
And He wants you to
Forgive yourself.
We are just human.
Only human,
Very, very fragile human beings.

“But one thing I do:
forgetting what lies behind
and straining forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize
of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
– Philippians 3:13b-14

Is that not what YOU desire
for your child?
Well,
that is what your Father
in Heaven
desires for YOU.

Forgiveness
is a truly beautiful thing.

Goodnight.

“The proper function of man

We are precariously and very briefly perched upon this beautiful planet.

How Do We Live,
Not Merely Exist?

BE  YOURSELF

And how do you do that?
And who am I?
Perhaps we will
never know.

But this much we are aware of:
we grew up trying to be
the person you wanted,
you expected,
you demanded,
you approved of,
you were proud of,
you were disappointed in.
And you now have,
Whatever that is.

That’s me,
And that’s you!

Have Faith that things will work out.

And today,
from our experience
we have finally come to realize
that one of the single greatest gifts
we can pass on,
bestow upon tomorrow’s child,
is to simply,
“let it be”.

“And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light
that shines on me.

Shine on until tomorrow,

My Dear Friends,
we need to laugh
at the confusion that prevails,
it is hilarious!

The illogical, superficial,
and arrogant attitudes
toward what we do,
collectively and as individuals
of unbelievable perfunctory indifference
toward the nature of our reality,
can be really funny.
So why not enjoy it?

You will never get out of it alive.”

   Where is the average person?

If we can laugh at our mistakes,
and I do mean, “out loud“,
we can, in a more positive manner,
actually take some credit for them,
(here is where you take a bow)
and allow for them to become acceptable
lessons learned on this all too difficult
path of life.

And you get three guesses
as to who made it difficult,
and the first two
don’t count!

We are so perfectly and beautifully
imperfect,
that the result is:
there is simply no one
we can call normal
or average.
(Thank God!)

“Normal
is a setting
on a washing machine.”

  Stop thinking about yourself.

I counsel with others,
especially children,
to make at least one mistake
on purpose,
daily.

This creates a highly controlled
learning opportunity.
It admits to our humanity.
It opens the window
of our awareness.

Children, of all ages,
view it as time for a
great practical joke.
(Mrs. A became the master of this.
Which is another reason
I Love her!)

When she speaks to me,
I always pause to reflect upon
what is really going on.
We have learned over the years
not to take life so seriously.
Super serious attitudes
lead to stress, strokes,
and striking out.

The lighter side of Life
Is also a great adventure
and a broad avenue of opportunity
that may lead to
being on Comedy Central,
finding a new friend,
falling deeply in Love,
or stumbling up to the Altar
and saying, “I did”
instead of, “I do”.

a_055

A broad avenue of opportunity.

Creating us,
proves to me,
that God
has a sense of humor.

We almost always act like
we are going to survive
this very brief existence.
And the truth is:
we are precariously
and very briefly perched
upon this beautiful planet.

a_051

It opens the window of our awareness.

Live in the moment.

One of my very favorite expressions is:

“Now remember,
We are just a nice normal family”.

You know,
I am always wondering,
where is this normal family?
Where is the average person?

“Normal”
Is Also a Dryer Setting.

We go through life thinking
I am too short,
Too tall,
Too fat? Too whatever?
Ever get stuck
in a comparison cycle,
pursuing the
unattainable?

Yes you have!

My Friends,
I have news for you:
A NORMAL child
simply does not exist.
That is an illusion.
If not,
Please introduce to me to one.
One will be sufficient!
(Now, don’t drag your child up here!
He or she will embarrass you
in a highly abnormal manner.)

“Only ONE person in 6,500
could be credited with achieving true
averageness in every measurable respect.
That person having molded himself into
the nicest, dullest and most proper
“freak of normalcy” for miles around.”
– Guy Murchie

Our exceptionality is but one
of one of the things
that make us,
and our lives,
so very interesting
and very, very beautiful.

We are all a
modern work of art,
You know,
expensive,
different,
museum quality
and something
no one understands.

a_054

                      Who am I?

But can you imagine how dull,
how terminally boring
would life be
surrounded by a plethora
of normal, average human beings.
What would we ever talk about?

a_020

         Today is your property.

My Dear Friends,
stop worrying, wondering, and doubting.
Have Faith
that things will work out.
And if they don’t,
well, my fellow humanoid,
celebrate!
You now have something to talk about,
something to laugh at
and something to think about.
And hey,
you did not worry about it!

              We all live for Love.

“A hundred years from now
it will not matter
what my bank account was,

the sort of house I lived in,
or the kind of car I drove,
but the world may be different
because I was important
in the life of a child.”
– Forest E. Witcraft

The past,
if left undenied,
can become a thief.
Don’t let the past steal today.
Today is your property,
your beautiful gift from God.

You’ve got to love this life.
If not,
you are probably
going to hate it.

And how do you Love it?

Well,
it’s actually quite simple:
quit thinking so much about it.
And stop thinking about yourself.
Think about someone else!
That’s called Love.
And when you Love others,
they Love you back.
And Life, my friend,
is good to live
again.

We all live
for Love.

And if you think deeply about it,
Love is the only thing
worth living for.

Yes,
it is that simple.

Now,

“We know
that for those who love God
all things work together for good,
for those who are called

– Romans 8:28

turn out all the lights,
It needs to totally dark

Sleeping while exposed to light at night

setting the stage

There are movie shows downtown.
Maybe you know some little places to go to
Where they never close.

Guide them along.

So maybe I’ll see you there
We can forget all our troubles,
forget all our cares.”

Do more good than you ever thought possible for someone else.

In Our Philosophy Class on Thursday
we
will view and discuss
Waking Life

Waking Life is about a young man in a persistent lucid dream-like state. He observes and later participates in philosophical discussions of issues such as reality, free will, the relationship of the subject with others, and the meaning of life.

Along the way the film touches on other topics including existentialism, situationist politics, post humanity, the theory of André Bazin, and lucid dreaming itself. Waking Life, is a reference to the philosopher George Santayana’s maxim: Sanity is a madness put to good uses; waking life is a dream controlled.

Director Richard Linklater has created a masterpiece of philosophy and film with Waking Life. The film is beautifully done. The cinematography is wonderful with a stellar soundtrack and well-placed philosophical discussion that runs throughout the film.

Linklater possesses a substantial understanding of philosophy.  The philosophical ideas explored in this film are well thought out. The presentation of these ideas and the eccentric personalities of those presenting them makes for a very thought provoking experience.

The movie presents a plethora of philosophical ideas from many different view points. The vivid imagery of the scenes combined with the deeply philosophical content makes this an extraordinary film. The beautiful animation combined with the philosophical input makes Waking Life one of the most interesting films you’re likely to ever see.

Did You Know…

… that there’s a nutrient that could eliminate 50% of all deaths from cancer and prevent other diseases that claim nearly 1 million lives every year?

That nutrient is … Vitamin D, the “sunshine vitamin,” which is now recognized by traditional and natural doctors alike as one of the most powerful, inexpensive ways to prevent disease.

Vitamin D is found in small amounts in some foods, such as milk, eggs, fish, and fortified orange juice – but the most important, natural source of vitamin D comes from exposure to sunlight.

Vitamin D influences over 2,000 of the 30,000 genes in the body, which explains why it has been found to inhibit the onset and spread of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, autism, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoporosis, to name a few.

Next to smoking, not getting enough vitamin D is the No. 2 risk factor of cancer!  Every year, 30% – or two million people worldwide (200,000 in the U.S. alone) – could be spared of dying from cancer if they would just take the proper amounts of vitamin D.

According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, an Osteopathic physician and New York Times bestselling author, “Groundbreaking studies proved that 600,000 cases of cancer could be prevented every year just by increasing your levels of vitamin D. And without question, the best way to obtain your vitamin D is by UVB sunlight falling on unexposed skin in doses that do not cause sunburn. Beyond cancer, increasing levels of vitamin D could prevent diseases that claim nearly 1 million lives throughout the world each year.”

Dr. Michael Holick, one of the world’s most respected authorities on Vitamin D and author of The UV Advantage explains that “Vitamin D is made in the skin, gets into the bloodstream, and then goes into the liver and kidneys where it is activated into a hormone called 125-dihydroxy (calcitriol). It is this activated vitamin D that has biological, disease-prevention effects, such as preventing prostate cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and colon cancer.”

The proper amount of vitamin D in the body helps to:

  1. stop mutated cells from forming and spreading;
  2. cause diseased cells to commit “cell suicide” – i.e., cause them to literally self-destruct;
  3. causes the differentiation of cells (Cancer cells are often undifferentiated, and this causes them to reproduce faster);
  4. reduce the probability that dormant tumors will regenerate into cancerous cells by inhibiting the growth of blood vessels in those areas.

Absorption is the key. Dr. William Grant, Ph.D., Director of the Sunlight, Nutrition and Health Research Center, and an expert on the effects of the environment and diet on chronic disease, recommends that adults get 2,000 to 4,000 IU’s of vitamin D every day from the sun or from vitamin D supplements to prevent cancerous or dysfunctional cellular activity. However, most people get less than 300 IU’s a day.

While it’s true that excessive amounts of unprotected UVA rays can increase your risk of melanoma skin cancer, there is an overwhelming body of evidence that shows that moderate sun exposure combats cancer and other disease without risk.

It is virtually impossible to overdose on vitamin D. In fact, there’s never been a reported case of vitamin D toxicity – so go outside and enjoy your daily dose of sunshine! If you’re unable to get sufficient sun exposure, taking a high quality vitamin D supplement is recommended by many health practitioners. Natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), or human vitamin D, is the type most often prescribed for therapeutic reasons because it is far superior to vitamin D2, which is synthetic.

God in His Wisdom Provides.

We struggle
To rebuild ourselves each day,
Some days, minute by minute.
And there are years
Of not knowing,

Of not feeling,
That so very many hearts
Like yours and mine,
Have been broken
By what someone has done,

And can’t undo.

My Dear Friends,
Never feel that you are
Alone.
Given time,
Everyone suffers.
Look around,
And you will know.
But, we need to know
More
To survive and thrive.
And a good place to start
Is to recognize that

“Your joy
is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well
from which your laughter rises
was oftentimes filled
with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow
carves into your being,

the more joy you can contain.”

Of all the suffering and pain,

Those who transgress

To bury what needs
Never to be thought of

Of the one we hold
In mindful madness,

All pretense of being.

Cole contemplates his next move with the only chess piece on the table.

Professor Rosalie David, at the Faculty of Life Sciences, said:
There is nothing in the NATURAL environment that can cause cancer…so it has to be a man-made disease.

A recent study by University of Manchester scientists has strongly suggested that…cancer is a modern, man-made disease caused by environmental factors such as pollution and diet.

In the extensive study conducted at the University’s KNH Centre for Biomedical Egyptology, scientists examined hundreds of mummies and found…no signs of cancer – with one exception.

The 17th Century Ushers Cancer In

It wasn’t until the 17th century that the first reports of cancer appeared in scientific literature—such as cancer of the scrotum (found in chimney sweeps in 1775, caused by soot particles); and nasal cancer found in users of snuff (finely ground tobacco) in 1761.

The University of Manchester study indicates that cancer-causing factors exist only in modern, industrialized societies –
and cancer is fueled by the excesses of modern life.

•Environmental pollutants (such as asbestos, benzene, and formaldehyde)

There is evidence that cancer is curable. I now believe that what prevents us from ending so much unnecessary suffering and death has less to do with science than with economics. We have research studies, medical reports and inspiring real-life healing success stories to prove it!

  • Unbelievably, what has been exposed is the corruption of the cancer industry and the extreme measures they will undertake to discredit, imprison, and professionally destroy any physician who treats cancer patients naturally.
  • One million Americans are diagnosed with cancer every year, and one person of every three will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes; two of every three will die from their cancer within five years.
  • The average cancer patient spends $50,000 fighting the disease, making the cancer industry a 50 billion dollar per year industry; the medical monopoly is not motivated to find a cure when treatment it is so lucrative.
  • Many natural treatments have been used successfully with cancer, but the treatments are hushed, buried, and kept out of public view with smear campaigns funded by the medical cartel.
  • Cancer prevention strategies include specific tips for eating, sleeping, exercising and managing stress. To reduce breast cancer risks from light pollution, Prevention magazine recommends nine hours of sleep nightly in a dark room devoid of both interior (computer screens) and exterior (street lamps) light sources. A study of 12,000 Finnish women found that those who slept nine hours nightly had less than one-third the risk of developing a breast tumor than those who slept only seven or eight hours. Even bright light from a trip to the bathroom can have an affect, so dim nightlights are recommended for night lighting.
A great time was had by all.

A great time was had by all.

My friends, until we start electing people to represent us, we the people, and not corporate and financial interests, our deeply loved ones will continue to suffer indescribably horrible deaths. We must recruit courageous, independent thinking and, most importantly, deeply sensitive, caring and loving people to represent us.Frankly, these individuals need to love us more than they love themselves.

    It was a delightful time.

    It was a delightful time.

These loving people exist. I have met a few of them. And you have met them too. At one time in our history we called them patriots. Reach deeply into their hearts and ask them to make a sacrifice to this Nation, to you and me, to our children. If we do not tap into the vibrant and courageous heart of this Nation, there is no hope. Yes, there is another cancer that dwells among us. And it is horrendously sad to recognize, but it resides within our body politic – within the fiber of our society.

And yes, it is a cancer of the heart, our heart. My friends, our collective being is slowly being eaten alive by the evil that dwells within.

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil
is that good men do nothing.”
    Edmund Burke
