Is This Life a True Story? / Find Meaning and Hope During Times of Despair

Are we Dreaming
in
Real Time?

An Oasis
of quiet and Beautiful
Reflection
comes together,
not in the mind,
but in the Heart.

My Dear Friends,
you can fall in Love
with everything in Life,
because you are
a Child of God,
and God
is Love.
(1 John 4:7-8)

Everything God does
is impelled and influenced
by His Love.
And such
can be with
YOU.

“God abides in us
and His Love is
perfected
in us.”

Psalm 63:3

We
are all searching
for a Child,
orphaned earlier in
Life
the Child
we were,
abandoned by ourselves,
by our pride,
by our ego,
by our ignorance,
by Time.

We were left
in a social orphanage,
with other Children
eager to be adopted
by thoughts
of being
all grown up.

My Friends,
sometimes it takes
a long time
for us to truly
grow up,
and become
a Child again.

                 Become a Child again.

It takes Time
to more fully realize,
we may be Dreaming
in
Real Time.

Our Birth
is never ending.
We are Birthed
into each new Day
with the rising
of the Sun.
Every Dawn
is the Gift of a new beginning.
Every Dream
is the Dawn
of Deliverance
into a new awareness,
a new World,
a new Way.

There is only
one thing
more Beautiful
than the Birth
of a Child.
And that
is re-Birth.

“For you have been Born again,
not of seed which is perishable
but imperishable,
that is,
through the Living and Enduring

Word of God.”
1 Peter 1:23

The memory
of the Life we live,
can be sweet.
In our Dreams
we can come
together.
We can finally
realize,
there is no real
me,
without real Love.
.
There is knowing and accepting
that you are you,
and I am
me.
And in coming together,
with Compassion and Love,
we can Truly become
WE.

.And
if we accept
each other
with unconditional Love,
we can come to better understand
the depth
of God’s Love
for us.

Let your Children
teach you.
Then you will know
how to Love,
too.

Time
does not
make us older.
Our failure
to Love
will age us.
What we have
never done
for others,
will too.

.For Time
may not
exist.
And neither will
YOU,
without
ever knowing
Love.

Things
that never change,
come what may,
remind us
of the Love
God harbors
for all
of His Children
in the Harvest
to come.

Hope
has everything to do
with the
Human Heart.

Goodnight.

“When I am down and,
oh my Soul,
so weary;
When troubles come and my Heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong,
When I am on
your shoulders.”

“When we are no longer able
to change a situation –
we are challenged to change
ourselves.”

Viktor E. Frankl

.
In the face of an uncertain and chaotic World we will encounter difficult moments full of worry, stress, and frustration. It is exhausting to push through challenging times in Life, but when we remain resilient and persevere it can be an experience that changes us for the better.
.
There are certain circumstances and experiences that we simply have to accept and cope with. One major way to promote courage and determination to face these obstacles is to find meaning in negative life events. The ability to make sense of our struggles and bounce back from stress is an important function in dealing with Life effectively and maintaining a sense of well-being. We can endure anything when we have a compelling reason to do so. Here are ten ways to make meaning and cope when life seems grim.

1. Evaluate purpose and Life goals

Having a clear life purpose is an important factor for making sense of life events. When we know what we want, obstacles are less obtrusive and our direction is evident. Life purpose and clear goals help with understanding the self and one’s place in the world. When life throws a curve ball it’s a perfect opportunity to bolster or alter your purpose and goals.

2. Freedom to choose and responsibility to persist

Knowing that we always have a choice is an empowering realization. However we also have responsibilities if we are to live a virtuous and meaningful life. A meaningful Life involves a conviction for what is just and honorable, and finding a balance between our free will and responsibilities is an important dichotomy to learn about. Giving up may not be an option.

3. The right and wrong pathways to happiness

As we go through life we encounter many risk-factors that steal our joy and many protective factors that improve our happiness. We gain wisdom about what leads to happiness and if we have learned from life experiences we know what will allow us to experience greater well-being and what limits our contentment and satisfaction. Pay attention to how your choices influence your well-being.

4. Courage to accept your constraints

It can be tough to not have the talent, skills, or resources to accomplish what we desire, but being able to accept our weaknesses and current level of development is the exact next step to raising the bar. It takes courage to acknowledge what we lack but when we embrace our fallacies it provides us a freedom to take control of our decisions and move beyond our constraints.

5. Faith and Belief in a better future

No matter what we go through keeping hope that our future will be bright allows us to persist and persevere. When we keep faithful and optimistic it allows us to stay motivated and driven to finish what we started. When unexpected tragedy occurs we must acknowledge that stress and grief does not last forever.

6. Commitment to growth

Every experience is a learning opportunity. No matter how difficult or painful a situation may be, we are able to use the experience to expand and grow our awareness and understanding. This commitment is how we become a stronger, wiser, and more gracious person. Allow pain to mold and shape your character honorably.

7. Discovering the hidden side of self and new frontiers of Life

Some of the most profound self-knowledge comes from the most difficult moments. When we are confronted with the reality of who we are and how we are living it broadens the horizon for how life can be and what is most important. We learn what we are truly capable of, and the inner strength we possess during arduous times.

8. The power of altruism, empathy, compassion, and generosity

One of most powerful ways to develop a sense of meaning and cope with our struggles is to step outside of ourselves and be of service to others. When we can put ourselves in another person’s shoes it helps us transcend beyond our own problems and concerns. Tragic moments are often the exact experience that allows us to cultivate compassion and empathy for others.

9. Gaining wisdom to solve problems

When I consider the wisest people I know, they are the ones who have had the broadest and most profound life encounters. They also used these experiences to reflect on what life is really all about. We are all able to alter our perspective and grow more intelligent about how we live Life but asking ourselves wise questions. Is this doing any good? Should I do more of it? Should I try another strategy?

10. Appreciating what you have

Even when Life feels out of control and we can’t imagine ever reaching our goals there is much to be grateful for. There is always someone in a worse circumstance that is willing to live with joy and grace. Be willing to acknowledge what you do have and what you appreciate about yourself, relationships, and community. Pain is never easy to deal with. It may feel heavier than we can bare, but when we push through the pain by finding meaning and purpose we can continue living with clarity, direction, and passion. Remember that your human spirit can still shine even through the darkest chapters of your life.

“The greatest Faith
is born in the hour of despair.
When we can see no Hope
and no way out,
then Faith rises
and brings the Victory.”

The Beautiful Tapestry of Life / What Children Need Most / Classes Resume on January 5

Dedicated
with all the Love
in my Heart
to our daughter
Annie,
born on a very special and Sacred
December 29.
On that precious day
we truly felt
the Love of God.

“The love of God
is greater far

than tongue or pen
can ever tell.”
– Frederick Lehman

“Blessed is he,
who in the name of charity and good will,
Shepherds the weak
through the valley of darkness,
for he is truly his Brother’s keeper
and the finder of lost Children.”
– Ezekiel 25:17

dynamic-purple-lflower-b

Love is the most Beautiful thing on Earth.

An Existential dimension
is woven into the Beautiful Tapestry of Life.

Existentialism is a realm of Philosophy
concerned with
the meaning of Human existence.
It looks closely at Love,
and the meaning of Life,
and at death.
It looks at how we deal with
and value
the meaning of our own
very brief existence.

baby-asleep-c

           I exist for you.

As parents of a precious child,
this existential dimension leads us
to questions
later in Life:

Who was I?
What was my purpose in Life?
Where was my existence directed?
What did I achieve in Life?
What was the meaning of my Life
to others?

But, in reflection,
as the parent
of a new born child,
your Heart simply said:

I am here.
I exist.
And I exist for you.
I will let nothing harm you.
My words will always welcome
and warm you.
Let me be everything you are.
Let me dry your tears
and always be beside you,
to guard you and guide you,
and Love you
until the end
of time.

lady-and-light

          It is your Light.

Such is the Love
of a Mother and a Father
for their precious
Child.

Such is the Love
of your Father in Heaven above
for you.

“Verily, verily, I say unto thee –
ye must be born again”
– John 3:5,7

My Dear Friends,
everyday
your child is born
again.
And the answers
to Life’s existential questions
may be found
in the very first moment
you held your newborn
child:

I am here.
I exist.
And I exist for you.

tree-in-cloud-ring-b

Let me guard you and guide you.

You can venture into
sophisticated aspects
of Love.

But this Love,
this Existential Love,
cannot be conveyed
in mere words.

It is
your shelter from the storm,
your light,
your freedom
from ever knowing
the night.

This Love will follow you
wherever you go,
because it never left you.
It will guide you
when you never have to
think about it.

My Friends,
the manner we choose

to Live and Love
becomes Life,
a truly beautiful
Existential existence.
It blossoms
as the Truth
and is the same Love
God feels for His Child,
YOU.

Or Love and Life
can become
a Lie.

many-colored-sunrise

It has been searching for you.

Love
is the simplest thing on Earth,
the most powerful,
and the most beautiful.

To find it
all we need do
is surrender
our Heart.
And to whom
do we surrender
our fragile Hearts?

To everyone.

Love existential,
My Dear Friends,
will find you.
It has been searching for you.
Look around.
You will see it
in the eyes of everyone,
and every Living thing
you meet.
You felt such Love
on the day
of your Child’s birth,
and on the day
your were born.

Everyone
has a Heart,
a Human Heart,
that longs to Love
someone.

Like you.

Goodnight.

“Love is the only way to grasp another human being
in the innermost core of his personality.
No one can become fully aware
of the very essence of another human being
unless he loves him.

For the first time in my life
victorI saw the truth
as it is set into song by so many poets,
proclaimed as the final wisdom by so many thinkers.
The truth –
that Love is the ultimate and highest goal
to which man can aspire.
Then I grasped the meaning
of the greatest secret that human poetry
and human thought and belief have to impart:
The salvation of man
is through love
and in love.”

And it’s the Hope of Hopes,
it’s the Love of Loves,
it’s the Heart of every man.”
– Bette Midler

     Beauty can liberate your Spirit.

We are never more
than far away.
But wherever we are,
near or far,
we cannot behold
all of God’s Beauty
that surrounds us,
if we look
only with our eyes.

“He has made everything beautiful
in its time.
Also, he has put Eternity
into man’s Heart . . .”
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Beauty
can liberate your Spirit.
Think upon it.
It has happened
many times before.

path-b“You’ll find Beauty
in the simplest things
and in the deepest depths
of complexity.
Beauty exists
for the purpose of
filling your Heart
with Joy.

Beauty’s reason
is pure delight.
Take delight
in Beauty
and it becomes
even MORE Beautiful.

Behold the Beauty
that fills your Life.
It is a Blessing
that has NO
equal.”

But the devil wind blows harder on me,
cold and bare
And someone’s arms won’t be reaching
for there’s nobody there.”

everyone.

How much
of Life
is left to live
and Love?

We are here
but a single fleeting moment,
like a drop of dew
at dawn,
never to stay.
Life

cast into the illusion
of a night and a day.

Yes,
Life is brief
at best.
But one hundred percent
of the rest of your Life
is left
for you to Love,

to share

My wish for you
is that you truly live

every day,
and save
your death,
for the day
you die.

We choose
to truly live

or just exist,
and die a little
each day.

My Dear Friends,
your mind
is NOT beating
to the rhythm of Life.
It feels not
any emotion.

It is simply

a biochemical processor
of mere momentary thought,
reflecting upon
Love’s labors lost
and found,
Life Crowned
and made to appear
profound.

And therefore is winged Cupid

The Beauty and Mystery of Life

You know,
my life is based on a true story,

  and so is yours.
And the truth is:
we have not truly lived
every day.

Life is the Gift
of every single
day.

  If you dwell
in the Beauty and Mystery of Life,
  how could you possibly
be sad,
lonely?

  Love is the aroma of

What is the message of Love?

My friends,
we need not fear
death.
Life is not really lost
on the day
we die.

It is only lost
while we live:
lost in sorrow,
lost in a sigh,
lost
in a precious moment
that passed you by,
lost in the sadness
that made you cry,
lost in what
your tender Heart felt
but did not say,
lost in never
feeling grateful to God
for the Beautiful Gift
of another new
Day.

Life
is the most exciting
when we Love someone

when we transcend
this moment
of our awareness,
to discover
we are alive inside
the Hopes and Dreams
of someone else,
that Life
is more than living,
it is Dreaming the Dream
that Love
is all there is,

that should ever
be.

Joni Mitchell
expresses in beautiful song:

“I’ve looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It’s life’s illusions I recall.
I really don’t know life at all.”

Is it a delusion to believe
The images in our minds
Are the real world?
Is it unlike
Our experience of it?

The concept that reality is
Only in the mind,
Is found time after time after time
In the study of Philosophy,
And the Sciences remind.

Physicist
Sir Arthur Eddington notable said,
“Matter is mostly ghostly empty space.”
To be more precise,
it is 99.9999999% empty space.

My friends,
We faint and flickering
Shadows and shades
Are almost non-existent.
Matter, of which we are made,
Is coming into and out of existence
Billions of times each second.

Your reality, which includes you,
Is blinking constantly on and off at all times.
Quantum physics has left scientists
All over the world

Baffled,
Especially with the discovery
That our physical material reality,

Isn’t really physical at all.

Our human brain is designed
By natural experience (in order to survive),
To sense the “on” frequency.
Just as quickly, it blinks “off,”
And everything, including you, disappears.
However, your brain registers and connects only
The “on” segments,
And thus you have the sense

Or feeling of your reality being solid.
What quantum mechanics reveals
Is that there is NO true “physicality” in the universe.

We have discovered in quantum physics
Even subatomic particles
Are far, far from solid.
They are nothing like matter
As we think we know it.
These particles, of which we are made,
Can never be precisely measured.
And they are everywhere,
Everywhere,

Until observed.

The real world
Was a world of ideas
And
Eternal perfect forms.
Is it?

Particles are,
We are,
Clouds of potential existence,
With no definite location.
Whatever matter is,
It has little,
If any,
Substance.

“We don’t know a millionth
of one percent
about anything.
– Thomas Edison

Our idea of matter
As solid, as substance,
Is a quality appearing
ONLY in our consciousness.
It models what is real,
But is unlike
What is really,
Or, perhaps,
Not really,

There.

German philosopher Immanuel Kant
Posited that time and space
Are not inherent qualities of the physical world;
They are a reflection
Of the way
Our mind operates.

We are the creators of the world we experience.

And so,
We are NOT passive experiencers of the world;
We are the creators
Of the world we experience.
We, my friends,
Are Children of God,
And firmly at the center of things.
The Earth is not
At the center of the Universe,
But WE are.

Human Thought Determines Reality.

Early in the 1900’s it was proven
Beyond a shadow of a doubt
With an experiment called
The double slit experiment.
They found the determining factor
Of the behavior of energy (particles)
At the quantum level,
Is the awareness
Of the observer. (read more)

Literature,
Throughout the world,
Of a Spiritual nature,
Proclaims that the whole world
Is within.

We are truly ONE with the Universe, with each other, with God.

The question of God’s existence
Is the most important question
Of human philosophy.
One chooses either a self existent God
Or a self existent universe,
And the universe is not behaving
As if it is self existent.

According to the second law of thermodynamics,
The universe is running down like a clock,
Cooling off like a giant stove. (read more)

My Dear Friends,
Religion and science are merging,
Becoming one.
Not as antithetically opposed
As we may believe.
Our discoveries suggests
A far, far more enlightening meaning
To this marriage.

Not just academic,
Not just philosophical,
But personal, practical, meaningful.
And as we think upon these things,
As best we can,
We become Blessed to realize:

“Those who dwell in the beauty
And the mystery of life
Are never lonely.”

The Earth is not at the center of the Universe, but WE are.

In our human affairs
We live our lives
As if the material world
Is the fundamental reality.
And in this consciousness
Lay the root of our discontent,
Our misery,
Our unquenchable thirst.

My friends,
We are losing our humanity,
Not knowing
We are far, far more
Than human.

The human spirit
Is the very essence of life

In a human being.
And knowledge of this can amplify
The joy of living,
And bring about Spiritual freedom.

You are a spiritual being having a human experience.

Your infinite capacity
To create, to love, to dream, to forgive
And to be aware that you are far, far more
Than you can ever imagine,
Ultimately defines what it means to be human.
You are the most beautiful and miraculous Creation
In the Universe.
And you are Eternal.

What is missing,
Disappearing from life,
Is the most exciting, wonderful, exhilarating
Discovery of all:
When we Love someone,
And finally come to know
We are deeply Loved,
God enters our hearts,
And what is dreamed
Becomes forever real.

I need your Love,
God speed your Love
To me.”

not its victims.”
