is one of the deepest and noblest
aspirations of the human spirit.”

My Dearest Friends,
As you awaken
Into the full Light of dawn,
Search for your Heart
In the eyes
Of those around you,
For within the Heart of another
Lies the courage
To become all you may,
To be truly Free.

Every romance begins
With but a glance.
And such can become
The Miracle you behold,
As you fall in Love
With Life
Through the eyes
Of another.

You are not the same person
You were
Just a few moments ago.
You are a remarkable
Child of God,
A truly free
Spirit.

In this and every moment to be,
You are consciousness reborn.
You are a powerful force.
The Grace of God Almighty,
Is holding within you
A potential for good
So Great
It cannot be imagined
Or described.

landscape 1

You are consciousness reborn.

You possess,
In this very singular moment
The rarest of opportunities,
To express Joy and Love
To someone,
To everyone
Around you.

Do not let the lessons
Of your precious Life
Be too late for the learning,
To see the Inspiring Light
Of your brief, powerful
Miracle of Existence.

In the wink of your eye
Your Soul
Can be turning,
Your Heart singing,
Your Life overflowing
With Meaning,
Your Love
Everlasting.

landscape 2

As you awaken into the full Light of dawn, search for your Heart.

Yes,
You can continue
To live your Life,
Precious and rare,
Through the eyes
God has given you.

But you may also see
Through the eyes
Of another,
Through the lens
Of their Heart,
Looking
At you.

Such are moments rare
That become us:
A time for planting,
A harvest granting
Every Prayer ever Prayed,
Every wish ever made,
Every longing
Your Heart,
And another,
Has ever desired.

landscape 3

Their world, and our world, are one.

My Friend,
When you lay to rest
What has been,
The past is prologue,
The script is henceforth
In your hands.
What has happened
Merely sets the scene
For what is really important,
Which will become
The essence
Of your precious Being,
And the Beauty
Of which you
Will be made.

The passions and the promises,
The abiding
Frailty of being Human
In all our days past,
We cannot forsake.
For you and I were blind
And could not see.
But today,
By asking,
We are Forgiven.

The Light of our Hearts
Is there for all to see.
It is alive
To illumine
The pathway to Love
For all those
Who follow.

27

Illumine the pathway to Love.

You have choice.
You have freedom.

You are
Like a Wildflower
That grows so beautiful and unseen,
And free,
Waiting for someone,
Anyone,
To behold all the glorious wonder
Of who you are,
To embrace the breathtaking
Fragrance of Life,
The unbelievable beauty to behold,
In the Sacred Vessel
That is your Being.

Colourful tulips (Tulipa sp.) and Japanese cherry tree (Prunus serrulata) in flower garden of Keukenhof, the Netherlands, April 2009

Love always holds an unseen Flower in its hand.

The emptiness deep inside,
The lonely void
Created by being
So darkly unaware,
The deep and abiding
Longing for Love,
Can be filled
With one kind word,
With a deed you do
That was left undone,
With the miracle
That can blossom
In a single smile,
The giving
Of but one
Flower.

Your pathway Home is their Vision.

The Wings
That fly you Home,
Belong to
Another Angel.

We journey together,
Never alone,
Brothers and Sisters
Ever searching,
Ever dreaming,
Ever reaching
For what is done
To be undone
For what is yet
To be done,
Never knowing
Nothing is done
Alone.

You are not alive
Just in your Heart,
In your mind.
You live in many places.
You dwell in other Hearts,
Other desires,
Dreams,
Memories.

Your pathway Home
Is their Vision of your
Goodness.

LOTUS

You are a remarkable Child of God.

Reach for someone’s hand
To help and to hold.
Love always holds
An unseen
Flower in its hand.

Take that hand
Gently into yours,
And someone
You now Love
Will guide you
Home.

There will never be
Another you
To treasure, to care for and Love,
And hold by the hand.

ATT000312

There will never be another you.

Let yesterday fade fast
And go far, far away,
As you find the peace
Your mind must have
To survive.
Come to live in this day.
The world that is your own
Is truly of your own making.
It is carved out of this moment
By your hand,
With the Loving guidance
Of another.
It is
Born of your laughter,
Your smiles,
Your song.

May you sing
All day long.

VIOLET

Come to live in this day.

“Each day is a little life:
every waking and rising a little birth,
every fresh morning a little youth,
every going to rest and sleep
a little death.”

JOY COMES FROM WITHIN / JAPANESE GARDENS

Ian & Abby

The sharing of your joy is Love.

In his inspired and insightful work, Joy, Osho posits that, “To be joyful is the basic nature of life. Joy is the spiritual dimension of happiness, in which one begins to understand one’s intrinsic value and place in the Universe.”

Osho tells us that, “Real education will not teach you to compete; it will teach you to cooperate. It will not teach you to fight and come first. It will teach you to be creative, to be loving, to be blissful, without comparing yourself to others. It will not teach you that you can be happy only when you are the first– that is sheer nonsense. You can’t be happy just by being first, and in trying to be first you go through such misery, that by the time you become the first, you are habituated to misery.”

People touched by you will not be ordinary anymore.

People touched by you will not be ordinary anymore.

“A real education will not teach you to be the first. It will tell you to enjoy whatever you are doing, not for the result, but for the act itself. Just like a painter or a dancer or a musician…

Osho says you can paint in two ways. You can paint to compete with other painters; you want to be the greatest painter in the world, you want to be a Picasso or a Van Gogh. Then your painting will be second-rate, because your mind is not interested in painting itself; it is interested in being the first, the greatest painter in the world. You are not going deep into the art of painting. You are not enjoying it, you are only using it as a stepping-stone. You are on an ego trip, and the problem is that to really be a painter, you have to drop the ego completely. To really be a painter, the ego has to be put aside. Only then can existence flow through you. Only then can your hands and your fingers and your brush be used as vehicles. Only then can something of superb beauty be born.”

Nobody can be unhappy in the here and now.

Nobody can be unhappy in the here and now.

“Real beauty is never created by you but only through you. Existence flows; you become only a passage. You allow it to happen, that’s all; you don’t hinder it.”

“But if you are too interested in the result, the ultimate result– that you have to become famous, that you have to be the best painter in the world, that you have to defeat all other painters hitherto– then your interest is not in painting; painting is secondary. And of course, with a secondary interest in painting you can’t paint something original; it will be ordinary.”

“Ego cannot bring anything extraordinary into the world; the extraordinary comes only through ego-lessness. And so is the case with the musician and the dancer. So is the case with everybody.

Happiness is always with you. It has nothing to do with anything. It is just the non-expectant, relaxed, at ease state of your being with existence.

Happiness is always with you. It has nothing to do with anything. It is just the non-expectant, relaxed, at ease state of your being with existence.

“In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says: Don’t think of the result at all. It is a message of tremendous beauty and significance and truth. Don’t think of the result at all. Just do what you are doing with your totality. Get lost in it, lose the doer in the doing. Don’t “be”– let your creative energies flow unhindered.

Krishna says to “Just be in a state of let-go. Say to existence, ‘Use me in whatever way you want to use me. I am available, unconditionally available.’ Then whatsoever happens through you will have a great authenticity about it. It will have intensity, it will have depth. It will have the impact of the eternal on it.”

In America, the pursuit of happiness is a birthright. It is not mentioned in any other constitution in the world.

In America, the pursuit of happiness is a birthright. It is not mentioned in any other constitution in the world.

Jesus says: Remember, those who are first in this world will be the last in the kingdom of God, and those who are the last will be the first. He has given you the fundamental law– he has given you the inexhaustible, eternal law: Stop trying to be the first. But remember one thing, which is very much possible, because the mind is so cunning it can distort every truth. You can start trying to be the last– but then you miss the whole point. Then another competition starts: “I have to be the last”– and if somebody else says, “I am the last,” then the struggle, the conflict, begins again.
