The Beautiful Way Life Was Intended / Bergamot Benefits / Friday: Rollerland West and Shakespeare

“When one realizes
one is asleep,
at that moment
one is already half-awake.”
– P. D. Ouspensky

lilies-flowers

Experience life in the beautiful way it was intended.

Deep, powerful knowledge
Is the key
To inspired thinking
and
Finding intelligent solutions
To problems.

And inspired awareness
Is the key
To a beautiful way
Of Life.

White-Flowers

A richness in the texture of living.

Each of us,
In a very unique way,
Possess a pathway
For higher awareness
Of Love
And of living,
To experience our life
In the beautiful way
It was intended,
To change this life
And create new possibilities,
And revolutionize the way
We comprehend the complex
and mysterious place that is
The Galaxy
Of our Heart.

lake

        The beauty waiting within.

Shrouded by the dust of living,
We are able to be
Liberated through a view
Of Love.
We can remove the things if life
That block our vision
To the awareness of
Love’s presence.

For Love
Is your natural,
God given inheritance,
And it is there
For you to see,
It is there
For you
to
Let it be.

“Your arms reach out to me
and my heart is free

From all care,
for it knows
there are no gloomy skies

When seen through the eyes
of those who are blessed
with love.”

– Max Steiner

There is no need
To let sorrow abound,
To enter your life
And go
Around and around,
From beginning to beginning,
In a perpetual motion
That you keep
Spinning.

“Like a circle in a spiral,
like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
on an ever spinning reel
As the images unwind,
like the circles that you find in
The windmills of your mind!”
– M.Bergman, M. Legrand, A. Bergman

Faith, and the mountain, are within.

To truly harvest life,
Search for the intensity
Of Human Kindness,
Which reflects our humanity,
And creates the Loving forces
Which go beyond this moment,
Beyond what we think and imagine,
Beyond things as they are,
To what they can be,
To the beauty waiting
Within.

             Create new possibility.

To see all things
Are truly possible,
Reveals
Facets of meaning
And a richness in the texture
Of being,
Of Loving
And of living.

“When all is come to pass
The storm has breathed it’s last
And the rain
Has washed our fears away,
Love will fall on us all
And we can smile again.”
– Hayley Westenra

The Miraculous application of Love
Is a balm on every wound.
And as we begin to understand
More deeply
Why love is such a necessary element
In the healing of the world,
We need do no more
Than trust
In what the Gospel
says.

“God is Love,
and all who live in Love
live in God,
and God lives in them.”
– 1 John 4:16

Jesus says
Something remarkable
In Matthew 17:20:

“If your Faith were the size
Of even the smallest of seeds,
The mustard bush,
We would be able to
Move Mountains.”

Your faith
Can move a mountain.
How?

Revolutionize the way we understand our Hearts.

My Dear Friends,
Faith,
And the mountain,
Are within.

“You are given
the gifts of the Gods,

you create your reality.”
– Jane Roberts

We are beings
Of a very fragile
And a very human
Dimension and degree,
But with a Faith
That can move mountains.
Faith
Can also move us
To
Love one another.

We not only have the strength,
Through Faith,
To Love each other,
We have the Commandment:
‘You shall love your neighbor
as yourself.’
– Mark 12:28-31

I have always felt
That Love was misunderstood.
Love is not
An unusual, abnormal,
Infrequent state of being.

Love
Created us.
It is who we are,
What we are doing
And where we are going.
It
Is our destiny.

I felt
So deeply Loved
As a child.
I cannot remember feeling
Anything but Love,
In the presence of
My precious Mother,
Marie.

Births Love.
Tis the way

And shall always

that we experience

when we are in love
represent a normal state.
Being in love
shows a person
who he should be.”

        Go beyond the moment.

“It doesn’t matter who you love,
or how you love,
but that you love”
– Rod McKuen

We have, essentially,
Three types of understanding,
Empirical, philosophical and
Spiritual.

Yes,
Mankind has entertained in his mind
A philosophical
And an empirical beginning.
But the beginning
Of beginning,
Was a Spiritual Birth.

My Dear Friends,
The question is NOT:

“Who am I?”
but rather,
“Whom do I have
the freedom to be?”
– Philip J. Mancuso

God fosters the Spirit of freedom.
He knows that the Human Spirit
Requires freedom
.

And the more disciplined we are,
The more freedom we have.

Sin limits our future choices.
Drugs and alcohol and tobacco
Quickly become addictions.
They become the master
And we, the unaware slave.

Abuse of your precious freedom
Will paralyze your life,
And remove tomorrow
From the landscape
Of your every
Desire,
Your every dream.

“If freedom of speech is taken away,
then dumb and silent we may be,
led like sheep to the slaughter.”
  – George Washington

Yes,
Every day we make choices

That determine our destiny.
Each day
God gives us
A most beautiful gift
,
A God like quality:
Freedom,
To think,
To choose,
To be.

“But to every man there openeth,
A high way and a low,
And every mind decideth,
The way his soul shall go.

One ship sails East,
And another West,
By the self-same winds that blow,
‘Tis the set of the sails
And not the gales,
That tells the way we go.”
– Ella Wheeler Wilcox

            Truly harvest life.

God gave us Life
And Love,
To you and to me.
And it is a Life
And Love so
Beautiful,
And so powerful,
It is,
My Friends,
Beyond
Belief.

” Go more deeply into your heart

Bergamot is a small, pear-shaped citrus fruit
that grows on small trees that are cultivated
almost exclusively in coastal regions of southern Italy.
Bergamot essential oil, made mainly from the peels,
is very aromatic and commonly used in
aromatherapy and perfumery.

Is bergamot becoming
an alternative to statin drugs?

Researchers conducted a study using
a higher dose of bergamot extract
as a substitute for statins in 32 patients
who could not tolerate statins due to the side effects
of these drugs.

After stopping statins for 2 months,
they took 500 mg of bergamot extract in capsule form
three times a day for a total of 1500 mg per day.
After 30 days, the average reduction in total cholesterol
was 25%, with an average 27.6% reduction in LDL cholesterol.
There was no re-appearance of side effects.

Joy was ever meant to be.

“All mankind is of one author,
and is one volume;
when one man dies,
one chapter is not torn out of the book,
but translated into a better language;
No man is an island, entire of itself…

any man’s death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind;
and therefore never send to know
for whom the bell tolls;
it tolls for thee.”
– John Donne, Meditation XVII, 1624

No man is an island.
But Islands abound,
And the gulf
All around,
For so many,
Surrounds
The will to be.

Water shallows deep.
Impassible it seems,
There they lie,
Our Islands in the sun.

Amidst the ripples
And tides of tears
They shine,
Yours and mine,
Never really knowing
Since Adam
Loved his Eve,
Life Supremely good
Is a Wish Divine,
That Harmony
And Joy
Was ever meant
To be.

Our season in His Sun,
Breathing a lesson
To be learned,
Teaching us the reason
For Love in life:
That ever we give,
Not seek,
Never in want
For our self
To keep.

In His Season of this,
Our Heart,
Lies the reason
Love will live,
And the reason –
To give,
So others
May live.
For Love and life
Are the same,
Drawn from
The selfsame well
Everything came.

“There’s a Love that’s Divine
And it’s yours and it’s mine

And at the end of the day
We should give thanks

                               Is Grain Harming Your Brain?
Grain Brain by David Perlmutter, M.D.

Renowned neurologist David Perlmutter, M.D., blows the lid off a topic that’s been buried in medical literature for far too long: carbs are destroying your brain.

Students brought balloons filled with shaving cream which everyone enjoyed!

And not just unhealthy carbs, but even healthy ones like whole grains can cause dementia, ADHD, anxiety, chronic headaches, depression, and much more.

Dr. Perlmutter explains what happens when the brain encounters common ingredients in your daily bread and fruit bowls, why your brain thrives on fat and cholesterol, and how you can spur the growth of new brain cells at any age.

How To Keep Your Child’s Heart Healthy
                                          by

Teaching a child healthy techniques will help him carry these techniques with him into adulthood, thereby cancelling any future health issues once he or she has left your care. Children who make heart healthy choices will decrease their chances of developing heart disease later in life.

Be very cautious about what is going down his food pipe. Stop spoiling his eating habits.

Include fruits and vegetables in your child’s diet. Fruits and vegetables are high in fiber and fiber has been shown to provide you with nutrients that can protect your child against future heart disease. Make sure your child eats at least five, 1/2 cup servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Avoid adding sugar, dips or high fat spreads to your child’s fruits and vegetables.

Thiswhyc

Beauty does not exist without love.

Set aside time in your child’s day for her to get exercise. Make sure the exercise is fun and enjoyable to her. Regular exercise is important to maintain a healthy heart. Encourage your child to get at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day.

Let them Jump Kick and Run…In fact you can join them too! Participate in physical activity with your child. Watch your child’s sporting events. Take walks as a family after dinner. Go on family bike rides during the weekend.

Avoid letting your child use the Internet, watch television or play video games for more than two hours a day. Help your child pick what they want to watch or play each day. Make them turn off the media after the two-hour time period.

Poor oral hygiene can contribute to the development of heart disease later in the child’s life because the bacteria on your child’s teeth and gums can get into the bloodstream and negatively affect the arteries.

Thiswhyc

He gives us to each other to show us the way.

Make sure your child brushes her teeth in the morning and before going to bed. Help your child to floss on a daily basis. Ensure that your child attends regular checkups with the dentist.

Limit your child’s salt intake. Consuming too much salt can put the child at risk for developing cardiovascular disease later in life, reports HelpGuide.org. Use spices instead of salt to add flavor to foods. Avoid giving your children processed, canned or frozen foods because these tend to have high salt contents.

Thiswhyc

Ensure that your child attends regular checkups with the dentist.

Remove foods that are high in trans fats and saturated fats from your child’s diet. Both these fats cause the bad cholesterol called LDL to increase. Foods that tend to be high in trans and saturated fats include chips, whole milk dairy products, red meat, solid fats and packaged foods. Replace the unhealthy fats with unsaturated fats that come from foods such as olive oil, beans, fish, nuts and avocados.

Limit your child’s portions to help him avoid overeating. Do not make your child eat everything on his plate if he says he is full.

Smoking doesn’t just happen. Its peer pressure, advertisements, machismo, adult role models. Set an example yourself by avoiding cigarettes. Talk about it to your children when they’re at the age that they can comprehend and perhaps subconsciously ingrain the idea that cigarettes are a no-no for their heart and lungs.

Keeping harmful chemicals in your home puts both children and pets at risk (as well as adults), especially if they accidentally get into them when you’re not looking. That’s why it’s best to use all-natural products that pose absolutely NO risk, except to your target.

Below are ways to effectively deter ants naturally, provided by Mother Nature Network.

Lemon Juice – Spraying pure lemon juice in or around openings near your home can prevent the pests from entering.

Kylee found several new friends.

Kylee found several new friends.

Cinnamon – Ground, oil or combined with ground cloves, both fill your home with warm, seasonal scents and deter ants if sprinkled in their paths.

Peppermint – either by itself, or combined with equal parts water can be mixed and sprayed directly at the ants or along their pathways.

Coffee grounds – place used coffee grounds in the cracks near their entryway. The coffee deters the ants, forcing them to set up shop somewhere else.

Mary Alice celebrated a birthday. Congratulations.

Mary Alice celebrated a birthday. Congratulations.

Chalk – Drawing a line around windows or doorway entries has kept ants at bay for some. You can usually find chalk at home improvement stores, some of which come in a squeeze bottle, making application easy.

Baking soda and powdered sugar – Mixing baking soda and powdered sugar in jar lids and placing them in strategic corners can greatly reduce ant populations.

Hot water and dish soap – Filling a spray bottle with soap and hot water can work very effectively against ants. Also, food items that attract ants, such as honey jars, can be placed on a small water-filled saucer to prevent the insects from reaching it.

Rylee, Kylee and Kayla loved the birds.

Rylee, Kylee and Kayla loved feeding the birds.

Vinegar plus equal parts water isn’t just great for cleaning your kitchen counter tops and floors but has been known to sufficiently kill unwanted insects. Pouring the solution where the ants have their nest is key. You can also mix vinegar with peppermint for an extra kick that gets rid of them faster.

Cream of wheat – Posts on Helpful Gardener say cream of wheat takes care of ant infestations. After eating the cream of wheat, rolled oats, dry cornmeal or grits, it swells up in their guts and their stomachs explode.

We love the Fort Worth Zoo.

We love the Fort Worth Zoo.

There are so many effective ways to control ants, or other insects, without using toxic chemicals. Next week, I may focus on helping to control the Uncles! And later, the pesky cousins.

Also from Natural News: For decades, top officials at the Environmental Protection Agency (PEA) were aware that a compound approved for agricultural use in the United States was wiping out the honeybee population, but they chose to ignore the compound’s effects in deference to pressure from agri-giant corporations.

Worse, the agency reacted harshly to anyone within the EPA who attempted to bring the issue to light, including through firings, forced reassignments and other actions.According to a scholarly 2014 study [PDF] compiled by researcher Rosemary Mason, “on behalf of a global network of independent scientists, beekeepers and environmentalists,” and published on the website of MIT, “We have found evidence to show that the herbicide glyphosate (or alternatives) the primary substance found in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide – became a global best-selling herbicide because the public was told by industry and the regulators that it was ‘safe.’ “

The results have been disastrous. The heavy use of glyphosate has led to the rise of so-called “superweeds” that are resistant to the herbicide. And there is another compound that was approved by the EPAover the objections of scientists — that has had a devastating effect on the nation’s honeybee population: clothianidin, which is used for seed treatment on corn and canola, by Bayer.

        ‘Honeybees are going extinct’

According to this EPA document describing clothianidin [PDF], it “is highly toxic to honey bees on an acute contact basis,” and “has the potential for toxic chronic exposure to honey bees, as well as other non-target pollinators, through residues in nectar and pollen. “In honey bees, the effects of this toxic chronic exposure may include lethal effects in the larvae and reproductive effects in the queen,”. Her research team found additional evidence of corporate/EPA cover-up regarding the effects of clothianidin.
This 99-page EPA memorandum dated November 2, 2010, [PDF] noted, in part:The major risk concerns are with aquatic free-swimming and benthic invertebrates, terrestrial invertebrates, birds and mammals.Clothianidin is an insecticide that is both persistent and systemic. Acute toxicity studies to honey bees show that clothianidin is highly toxic on both a contact and an oral basis.

Tests and field studies, as well as incident reports suggest the potential for long term toxic risk to honey bees and other beneficial insects.

A number of EPA scientists – those with integrity, anyway – have tried along the way to sound the alarm – over both glyphosate and clothianidin.

In a piece for The Huffington Post, former EPA scientist Evaggelos Vallianatos wrote that honeybees were on the verge of extinction. Here is a beneficial insect pollinating a third of America’s crops, especially fruits and vegetables, and we thank the fragile and highly beneficial honeybees with stupefying killing.

Poisoning of honeybees became routine in the mid-1970s with the EPA’s approval of neurotoxins encapsulated in dust-size particles that took days to release their deadly gas. He further noted that some of his colleagues have tried to denounce the EPA actions, but the agency reacted “with fury” after one EPA ecologists discovered neurotoxic plastic spheres in the gut of a queen honeybee, which “meant poison in the honey. “It forced the scientist out of his laboratory and into paper pushing in Washington. Approval of the industry’s neurotoxins expanded to cover most major crops. This meant honeybees had less and less space to search for food without dying,” Villianatos wrote. Note: LeVonna and I maintain a honeybee hive behind our home. Honeybees have thrived on our property for decades. We have lived in harmony and have treasured their presence. The wildflowers we keep during the Spring and Summer, in front of the school, are beautiful to see.

But more importantly, they are grown without the use of pesticides and benefit our precious, life sustaining honey bees and many other beautiful creations, such as spectacular moths, mosquito eating and unbelievably beautiful Dragonflies, our precious friends the Praying Mantises, our bountiful and beautiful life saving birds and many others.meercat
