The Illusions of Life / Everybody Hurts / Friday: At School to Rehearse our Shakespeare Production

“Intellectuals solve problems;
geniuses
prevent them.”

– Albert Einstein (1879-1955),
Physicist and Nobel Laureate

                  Illusions?

There are
any number of problems
that seemingly require
a number
of solutions.

However,
many problems require
no solution.
They
were never problems
to begin with.

“There is always an easy solution
to every Human problem
– neat, plausible, and
wrong.”

– H.L. Mencken (1880 – 1956),
American Journalist, Essayist, and Editor

MANY
things we consider problems
today,
are simply NOT.
They are
illusions.
In fact,
they are added to
what we perceive as
reality.
They become real
to us.

Our perception
of the World around us
is always literal.
We see
what we want
to see.

“As we learn to recognize
our perceptual errors,
we also learn to look past them
or “forgive.”
At the same time we are forgiving ourselves,
looking past our distorted self-concepts
to the Self That God created in us
and as us.”
– from “A Course in Miracles”

But,
the illusions of Life
are
fascinating.
They add new
dimensions and depth
to our perception of
reality.
Life can become
not so boring,
but,
also ultimately
unbearable.

The Holy Word of God leads us directly to the answers.

Let us never deny
each other
the real reality
of our
Love.

The good
we fail to do,
far exceeds
the wrong
we do.
Far in excess,
we can prevent
what wrongs we may do
by sharing
the limitless Love
in our Hearts
today.

The illusions of Life are fascinating.

The Truth
is
always stranger
than fiction.
And that fact
has much to do
with the Nature
of Reality.

With all the
complex and fascinating things
that fill our lives,
the MOST mysterious
are the things
we are not privileged
to be aware of.
And being unaware,
does not mean
something does not
exist.

You
may not believe
in God.
But that does not mean
that God
does not believe
in YOU.

“Oh, everything matters
If anything matters at all.
Everything matters
No matter how big,
no matter how small.

Oh, God believes in you.
God believes in you.”
Pierce Pettis

What is to be lived for
is not the illusion
of Life,
but the
Reality of Love.

“Great Miracles
were always proceeded
by Prayer.”

“If a problem has no solution,
it may not be a problem,
but a fact –
not to be solved,
but to be coped with
over time.”
– Shimon Peres
9th President of the State of Israel
Israel’s warrior for Peace was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994

My Friends,
IF
we become aware
of the Infinite power
and potential
of our own God given,
dynamic ability
to alter the very Nature
of what is real,
perhaps we can,
one day,
realize that there is
an Ultimate Reality.

And that
Genuine Reality
permeates beyond and
supersedes
everything we assume
is real.

Yes.
It may be difficult
to realize,
but there is
an Ultimate Reality,
a real Universal Consciousness.
And
the Holy Word of God
leads us directly
to the answers
we seek.

The Ultimate Reality,
the only Reality,
is Love.

“Love is the only reality
and it is not a mere sentiment.
It is the ultimate truth
that lies at the Heart
of Creation.”
– Rabindranath Tagore
Poet, Playwright, and Essayist
Won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913

My Friends,
if you long for
the Truth,
if you want
the answers
to Life’s great, perplexing,
mysterious equations and questions,
the answer is
simple.

Love
is the answer.

And Love,
my Treasured Friends,
is the question,
the question
we need never ask
again.

Love.

Goodnight.

“The day science begins to study
non-physical phenomena,
it will make more progress in one decade
than in all the previous centuries
of its existence.”

Nikola Tesla

When your day is long
And the night, the night is yours alone,
When you’re sure you’ve had enough
Of this life,
well hang on.

Don’t let yourself go,
‘Cause everybody cries.
And everybody hurts sometimes.

Sometimes everything is wrong.
Now it’s time to sing along.
When your day is night alone (hold on, hold on).
If you feel like letting go (hold on).
If you think you’ve had too much
Of this life,
well hang on.

Cause everybody hurts
Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts
Don’t throw your hand,
oh no.

Don’t throw your hand.
If you feel like you’re alone
No, no, no, you are not alone.

If you’re on your own in this Life,
The days and nights are long.
When you think you’ve had too much
of this Life to hang on.

Well,
everybody hurts
sometimes.

Everybody cries.
Everybody hurts sometimes.
And everybody hurts sometimes.
So hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
hold on.

Everybody hurts.”

Fascinating things that fill our lives.

The Beautiful Tapestry of Life / What Children Need Most / Classes Resume on January 5

Dedicated
with all the Love
in my Heart
to our daughter
Annie,
born on a very special and Sacred
December 29.
On that precious day
we truly felt
the Love of God.

“The love of God
is greater far

than tongue or pen
can ever tell.”
– Frederick Lehman

“Blessed is he,
who in the name of charity and good will,
Shepherds the weak
through the valley of darkness,
for he is truly his Brother’s keeper
and the finder of lost Children.”
– Ezekiel 25:17

dynamic-purple-lflower-b

Love is the most Beautiful thing on Earth.

An Existential dimension
is woven into the Beautiful Tapestry of Life.

Existentialism is a realm of Philosophy
concerned with
the meaning of Human existence.
It looks closely at Love,
and the meaning of Life,
and at death.
It looks at how we deal with
and value
the meaning of our own
very brief existence.

baby-asleep-c

           I exist for you.

As parents of a precious child,
this existential dimension leads us
to questions
later in Life:

Who was I?
What was my purpose in Life?
Where was my existence directed?
What did I achieve in Life?
What was the meaning of my Life
to others?

But, in reflection,
as the parent
of a new born child,
your Heart simply said:

I am here.
I exist.
And I exist for you.
I will let nothing harm you.
My words will always welcome
and warm you.
Let me be everything you are.
Let me dry your tears
and always be beside you,
to guard you and guide you,
and Love you
until the end
of time.

lady-and-light

          It is your Light.

Such is the Love
of a Mother and a Father
for their precious
Child.

Such is the Love
of your Father in Heaven above
for you.

“Verily, verily, I say unto thee –
ye must be born again”
– John 3:5,7

My Dear Friends,
everyday
your child is born
again.
And the answers
to Life’s existential questions
may be found
in the very first moment
you held your newborn
child:

I am here.
I exist.
And I exist for you.

tree-in-cloud-ring-b

Let me guard you and guide you.

You can venture into
sophisticated aspects
of Love.

But this Love,
this Existential Love,
cannot be conveyed
in mere words.

It is
your shelter from the storm,
your light,
your freedom
from ever knowing
the night.

This Love will follow you
wherever you go,
because it never left you.
It will guide you
when you never have to
think about it.

My Friends,
the manner we choose

to Live and Love
becomes Life,
a truly beautiful
Existential existence.
It blossoms
as the Truth
and is the same Love
God feels for His Child,
YOU.

Or Love and Life
can become
a Lie.

many-colored-sunrise

It has been searching for you.

Love
is the simplest thing on Earth,
the most powerful,
and the most beautiful.

To find it
all we need do
is surrender
our Heart.
And to whom
do we surrender
our fragile Hearts?

To everyone.

Love existential,
My Dear Friends,
will find you.
It has been searching for you.
Look around.
You will see it
in the eyes of everyone,
and every Living thing
you meet.
You felt such Love
on the day
of your Child’s birth,
and on the day
your were born.

Everyone
has a Heart,
a Human Heart,
that longs to Love
someone.

Like you.

Goodnight.

    A truly beautiful Existential existence.

“Love is the only way to grasp another human being
in the innermost core of his personality.
No one can become fully aware
of the very essence of another human being
unless he loves him.

For the first time in my life
victorI saw the truth
as it is set into song by so many poets,
proclaimed as the final wisdom by so many thinkers.
The truth –
that Love is the ultimate and highest goal
to which man can aspire.
Then I grasped the meaning
of the greatest secret that human poetry
and human thought and belief have to impart:
The salvation of man
is through love
and in love.”

Simple Gifts

“Its a gift to be simple.
Its a gift to be free.

It’s the gift to come down
where you ought to be.

And when we find ourselves
in the place just right,

We’ll be in the valley
of Love and delight.

When true simplicity is gained,
to bow and to bend,
we will not be ashamed.

To turn, turn, will be our delight,
till by turning, turning
we come round right.”
– Joseph Brackett

signs-b

The shape of things
to come
is never what we think,
not what we dream,
not even
what we
are able to imagine.

For tomorrow
lies not
within the plane
of our reality,
the subtle state of our consciousness
that transcends the known physical Universe.
It lies not within dimensions
known today.

The dynamic force
of our awareness
is being sent forth,
like waves in a vast ocean,
through time as we know it,
manifesting all things
we imagine
and culminating in the Universe
we treasure and desire.

Such is Love
in you.

But we may not dwell
within any tomorrow,
if our humanity,
our Love for one another,
self-destructs.
We will not be here
to be aware.

sunset-maroon-b

                  Look beyond

Of things unknowable
we cannot know.
But
we can become aware:

We can come to know
that we can never know.

And this
is an aspect of
Infinity.
For the Infinite
is far beyond
what we are capable
of ever comprehending.

We are finite
and very fragile,
enveloped within Infinite Love,
possibly impossible,
relative to the
irrational,
and Beautiful beyond
Belief.

sun-spray-b

Beyond illusions of Life and living.

Much,
if not most,
of what Mankind
has created,
is a feeble attempt
to fit a distorted reality
of our own making
into the shape
of what we envision
for tomorrow.

And tomorrow
may no longer be found
under the shade
of any tree
planted today
that worships
the winds
of such change.

picture of happy mother with baby over white

Only in the mysterious equations of Love.

The collective conscience
of Mankind
is accelerating in thought,
as it recklessly races
toward,
not just an uncertain future,
but what we cannot
envision or imagine.

My Dear Friends,
how do we
prepare our precious Children
for the unknown
and the unknowable?
To what end
do we strive?

What now
is our goal in Life
for them?

sunbeam-b

       Beautiful beyond belief.

Perhaps,
we should foster
an acceptance
of our limitations.

Perhaps.

I believe,
we should look
within ourselves,
beyond illusions
of Life
and living.

Ultimately,
it’s not what we make of us
that takes us,
it’s what takes us
beyond us.

Can you see
the Universe
in a drop of rain?
Can you find
what outwardly you seek,
by not looking
within?

     Look far beyond ourselves.

Perhaps,
we should close our tired eyes
and look
far beyond ourselves.

My Dear Friends,
lay your weary head
upon your pillow.
Feel the warmth
of beautiful moments remembered.
Hear the whisper
of the raindrops
blowing soft
across the window.

Listen carefully,
and you will hear
echoes reflected off the walls
of your treasured memories
kept deeply hidden
in the Heart.

See
what only Hearts
can see.

You can hear God calling

– Neil Diamond

What we may not
always comprehend
is part
of what is truly Beautiful.
The Mysterious
may always remain
within realms unknown
and unknowable,
as it takes our breath away
with its Beauty.

Such is
the Love of God,
so far beyond
what we will ever
truly know.

Such is the
Spiritual.

Such is the Love
hidden deep
in your Heart.

“I ask nash
What truly is logic?
Who decides reason?
My quest has taken me
to the physical,
the metaphysical, the delusional,
and back.
I have made
the most important discovery
of my career –
the most important discovery of my life.
It is only in the mysterious equations
of Love
that any logic or reasons
can be found.”
– John Forbes Nash

The most mysterious thing
our minds can
entertain,
is the Love of God.
for us.

The Beauty of Love
draws us in,
to lead us
toward ourselves.

It causes us
to reflect and to dream,
and for a few precious moments,
see with our Hearts
what lies
beyond even tomorrow,
to finally realize
the Divine Reality
that dwells
within.

We are the Dream
too long
afraid of waking.

Goodnight.

light-c“I’ll make you a day

We’ll sail on the sun, we’ll ride on the rain
We’ll talk to the trees that worship the wind.
– Neil Diamond

My Dear Friends,
negative emotions are completely useless.
Resentment, bitterness, hate, and jealousy
have never improved
the quality of life
for even one single
human being.

Never.

Cruciferous Vegetables Promote Healthy DNA

Laboratory experiments offer evidence that cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, and kale – help preserve the integrity of DNA. As a vital cell component, DNA is highly vulnerable to damage.

Broccoli, watercress, and rosemary provide bioactive compounds, including glucosinolates, isothiocyanates, carnosic acid, and carnosol, that have a multitude of favorable effects on DNA and healthy cell division.

Curcumin: The Workhorse of Cellular Health

Curcumin’s benefits are so diverse that they affect virtually every system in the body. It’s no accident that the National Institutes of Health has funded numerous studies investigating curcumin as a treatment for diseases from cystic fibrosis to autoimmune diseases to various cancers.

“Curcumin has emerged as one of the most powerful chemopreventive and anticancer agents,” wrote researchers last year. “Its biological effects range from antioxidant and anti-inflammatory to inhibition of angiogenesis, and it is also shown to possess specific anti-tumor activity.”
