We come from the LIGHT
and the LOVE
of God.
And one precious Day,
we will return to the LIGHT
and to His LOVE.
We are all Children
of GOD,
and we will return to
HIM.
Each precious Child
emanates from the LIGHT
of Love.
The Love of God
is traveling throughout the Universe
so we may use our free will
to explore and gain knowledge
of our TRUE essence,
of our LOVE.
“Your Unfailing Love,
O LORD,
is as vast as the Heavens;
your Faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
Your Righteousness is like the mighty mountains.
Your Justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and Animals alike,
O LORD.
How Precious is Your Unfailing Love, O God!
All Humanity
finds Shelter in the Shadow of Your Wings.”
– Psalm 36:5-7
My Dear Friends,
when you feel tears
in your eyes,
and clouds begin to form
in your mental sky,
then you know that God’s Love dwells within
and you are in touch
with the moment.
Today,
we may have a strong culmination
of so many emotions
hidden deep inside. Yes,
it is hard to express Love
for the Beauty in our Lives
without tears welling up
in our eyes.
But please understand,
though we may be
down trodden, burdened or troubled be,
the Lord has a Plan.
We may not always understand,
but if we put our Trust in Him,
all will be well.
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you Hope and a future.”
– Jeremiah 29:11
Our FAITH

Our Love
for others
creates such Beauty
for All.
You are an amazing Creation
of God.
And,
you deserve Happiness and Love.
Find the Joy in Life
by looking for the Beauty
all around us, and within.
Our World
was Created by Our Lord
with Light and Natural Serenity.
Look to Nature
and to everything Natural. What you will find
is God’s way of saying “I Love You”.
There are many languages
to say what will be said.
And the Language of the Lord
is Beauty.
And everything He Created,
is Beautiful.
.
This precious Day only happens once.
Cherish the moment.
On this truly inspirational Planet
open your eyes
to the Light
of His Eternal Love.
You
are truly an Exquisite Creation. Let us learn
to smile,
to laugh,
to speak Kindly
and Give abundantly,
to pass Kindness forward,
to allow our mind to truly rest
and share Happiness,
to spark Hope
and embrace with warmth
everyone and every
Living Creation.
With the Love of God
flowing through your Heart,
the chaotic World
we are living in
will one Day be
at Peace.
“Let there be Peace on Earth. And let it begin with ME.”
– Jill Jackson Miller
Herbs can not only increase energy, but they can quickly and effectively alter mood and uplift the spirit in ways that conventional medicines can’t.
Each plant has its own essence to share with us…and sometimes this is communicated through scent. It’s amazing how effective aromatic plants can be for boosting our mood, increasing focus and energy and shifting our perception…just smell a rose, and notice whether you feel the same afterwards!
Many of the herbs on this list are aromatic plants, but not all of them. Herbs have many ways of uplifting the spirit, from relaxing tension to increasing energy and focus, to boosting mood…so you’ll find some non-aromatic gems on this list as well! I’ve also included (at the bottom) some aromatherapy essential oils to inspire, revitalize & boost mood, as well as some of our favorite tea blends and other herbal products to uplift the spirit.
Lemon Balm
This divine smelling herb can change your mood with just one whiff! Lemon balm tea has traditionally been used to soothe upset stomach, help dispel fevers, calm upset or anxious children (and adults), and boost mood. It is a favorite in aromatherapy, and we’ve included it in our latest ‘Out of the Blue’ uplifting tea blend for it’s amazing ability to soothe and invigorate the spirit.
Lemon Myrtle
This Australian native has similar effects to lemon balm and other citrus scented herbs. It has antimicrobial & anti-fungal properties, and is used for colds & flus, as a sedative, for digestive upset, as well as in many body and dental care products. The high percentage of fragrant citral oil (found in lemon and lime) is the key to it’s invigorating and uplifting properties…just have a sniff of the leaves, and you’ll be instantly boosted.
Peppermint
Don’t overlook this common herb as an amazing ally for boosting mood, and stimulating the mind. A good strong cup of peppermint can get you going without the need for caffeine. It clears the sinuses, and gets you breathing deeper. The scent of peppermint is clarifying and refreshing, which is exactly what it can do for your spirit!
Damiana
One of our favorite ‘happy herbs,’ Damiana has a long reputation as an aphrodisiac. We love it for its ability to boost mood and relax tension (probably part of the reason it can get you in the mood)! It also tonifies the kidneys.
St John’s Wort
This herb has come into the limelight in recent years as a natural antidepressant and nervous system tonic. It works in a similar way to pharmaceutical SSRIs (so shouldn’t be combined with them), by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin. Traditionally it was (and still is) used as a wound and nerve healer. It has a restorative effect on the nervous system.
Tulsi
Tulsi is the Sanskrit word for ‘Holy Basil’ and is revered in India as a sacred plant and ‘the queen of herbs’ for its restorative and spiritual properties. It is considered a purifier of the mind, body and spirit.
Modern research has classified it as an ‘adaptogen,’ an herb that helps our bodies adapt to stress (physical, emotional and environmental), and restores balance in the body. Tulsi is also revered for its effects on the brain and memory, and it is used as a meditation aid. Tulsi has a lovely spicy sweet clove & mint scent, and is also used in aromatherapy for its clarifying and uplifting effects.
Rosemary
Another powerful aromatic herb, there is no need to describe the common scent of rosemary! The aroma of rosemary alone has been linked (link: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0278584609000633) to improving mood, clearing the mind and relieving stress in those with chronic anxiety or stress hormone imbalances. Known as a brain and circulatory stimulant, Rosemary can help boost body and mind without the use of caffeine! Rosemary is also known for its antibacterial, antifungal, and powerful antioxidant as well as an immune stimulant. Wow! I’m feeling better already just thinking about the powerhouse herb!
Brahmi
This is not an aromatic herb, instead it (partly) works by increasing blood flow to the brain. Brahmi is also considered an adaptogen (see Tulsi above), and has been found to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, while increasing intellect and memory.
Gotu Kola
Similar to Brahmi, Gotu Kola is an adaptogen and brain tonic. It has been found to reduce anxiety and depressive moods, and improve cognitive function. It also improves circulation and has antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Rhodiola
Also known as golden root or roseroot, this adaptogen and tonic herb is used to improve both mental and physical energy, memory and performance under stress. It has been found to be very effective for depression by boosting energy, and balancing hormonal systems. Rhodiola is one of our favourite herbs to replace caffeinated stimulants, as it not only boosts energy and mood, but it supports the adrenal system.
Mucuna
Also known as Velvet Bean, this herb has potent libido and mood-enhancing properties due to its effect on dopamine levels in the brain. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter, which, like serotonin, regulates mood. It has been found effective in treating depression and low libido. It is also used as a supplement to rebalance brain chemistry after indulging in alcohol and other drugs.
Yerba Maté
This stimulating tea from South America is packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (as well as caffeine). It boosts mood, energy, digestion as well as sex drive! As this herb does contain caffeine, use it with caution if you have anxiety or stress-related issues.
Guayusa
This rare herb from the Amazon is prized as a lucid dreaming herb. It’s actually quite stimulating and contains a significant amount of caffeine. However, the buzz from Guayusa is extremely clear, positive, focused and dreamy at the same time, with no jitters or crash. I personally find it enhances my visual perception, and it is excellent for meditation (as well as dancing and working), and as an adjunct to other magical herbs!
OTHER HERBS TO NOTE
Passionflower, Oat Straw, Valerian, Chamomile, Skullcap & California Poppy
These herbs all work by relaxing and nourishing the nervous system, and help relieve anxiety, stress & depression.
Siberian Ginseng, Korean Ginseng, Ashwagandha, Maca, Suma, Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps
These herbs are all considered tonics and adaptogens, helping the body deal with stress and increasing energy, stamina and immunity, and decreasing fatigue. Supporting the body with these amazing tonic herbs can boost overall wellbeing, and help us feel our best.
AROMATHERAPY
The “smell” receptors in your nose communicate with parts of your brain that serve as storehouses for emotions and memories. When you breathe in essential oil molecules, some researchers believe they stimulate these parts of your brain and influence physical, emotional, and mental health. (https://www.umm.edu/health/medical/altmed/treatment/aromatherapy)
In a more practical sense, Aromatherapy can have an immediate and profound impact on our mood and energy.
Here are some of our top aromatherapy oils for uplifting the spirit and mood:
Our Snifters range of aromatherapy inhalers include many uplifting choices:

We’re very excited to bring you our latest tea blend…Out of the BLUE. Using many of the herbs listed above, this blend has been formulated to help revitalise, uplift and boost mood.
We also love our luxury Vibrancy blend. This one is definitely stimulating, so take care if you’re sensitive to caffeine. It also has nervine tonics and mood boosters to round things off.
Another great choice is our Stress Less blend, a great choice for anxiety & tension or just to chill out at the end of a long day.

Precious Memories invite us to turn the clock back to our days growing up, when LOVE was there, and we felt it could be here for an Eternity!
To feel our Eternal Reality, weneedto silence our thoughts.
Our True Reality can be perceived through our Loving Heart and peacefulmind. Deep Meditation and Prayer enableus to reveal what is truly Real.
“. . . when thou Prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou has shut thy door, Pray to thy Father which is in secret.” – Matthew 6:5-6
Whenever we are thinking, we are not mentally at the place where we are thinking. Ourthoughts take us toanother time and another place.
This web of illusion we call Life and Living, can be placed into a better perspective when we cross over to the boundaries of Spiritual awareness. . Explanations of the Infinite cannot be attained using finite means.
Within the illusion of physical reality, it is simply not possible to truly understand anything. . Physical Reality simply does not exist. . Physical reality is what we create within our consciousness. It exists inside of us, not outside.
My Dear Friends, realitytranscendsall of our notions about reality. Our thoughts change our World, with intensity. Our thoughts can become so powerful that they change everything about us.
Thoughts can fester like an open wound and marinate in our minds, infecting every emotion and behavior until they manifest into reality.
The way we think about ourselves turns into our reality. Ourthoughts affect reality when we believe they do.
Our Beliefs are us.
When we realize how powerful Belief is, we can come to understand how our Belief in God transcends the illusions of Life.
When the illusions disappear, so too do our fears and anxieties.
Our Belief in the Love of God, and in our Love for each other, createsreality not by what we think, but by what we feel.
Our Heart is one with God, in Its entirety. Our reality is a manifestation of the Love of our Father in Heaven. We do not just Love, we are Love.
God’s Precious Word’s enable us to recognize thoughts for what they really are, and how to act or not act upon them. And inner Joy and Peace of mind can then come effortlessly, when we Live our precious Life with His Guidance and His purpose.
The Sacred Words of our Lord will provide Life-changing insights on your existence and on every thing you experience.
Your time of suffering and pain can lead you to a greater experience of the World, through the Sacred Time and Space of Prayer. Your Communion with God will connect you to a reality that transcends fear. The Fabric of Love transcendsour Earthly matrix. Love transcends any form of conscious thought.
In 1961, Eugene Wigner, Nobel Prize winning physicist, outlined a thought experiment that demonstrated a paradox of quantum mechanics. It shows how the very strange nature of the Universe allows two observers to experience differentrealities.
This experiment explored the nature of measurement to see if objective facts can even exist.
At Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland they performed this experiment for the first time and have created differentrealities and compared them. And they concluded Wigner was correct – realities can be made irreconcilable so that it is impossible to agree on objective facts.
The unique experiment reveals that both realities can coexist even though they produce irreconcilable outcomes, just as Wigner predicted.
The results are forcing physicists to reconsider the nature of reality.
Observers, like YOU and me, have the freedom to make whatever observations we want. Real Life is not a movie you watch. It is a movie you make.
Physicists look beyond the Human mind for external reality, but that reality isn’t absolute Truth.
What is True is whatever is True at one moment in Time for one person. Reality is subjective to each person. We simply cannot project our Beliefs onto others – we simply cannot do horrible things to others in the name of what we Believe! If we the people understand this, there will be much more Peace in the World.
To create a climate for World Peace and understanding we must realize that it is our purpose, and our role.
“Let there be peace on earth And let it begin with ME. Let there be peace on earth The peace that was meant to be. With God as our Father Brothers all are we. Let me walk with my brother In perfect harmony.” – Jill Jackson-Miller and Sy Miller
When Jill Jackson-Miller talked about the context of the above lyrics that she authored, she said:
“When I attempted suicide [in 1944] and I didn’t succeed, I knew for the first time Unconditional Love – which God is. You are totally Loved, totally accepted, just the way you are. In that moment I was not allowed to die, and something happened to me, which is very difficult to explain. I had an Eternal Moment of Truth, in which I knew I was Loved, and I knew I was here for a purpose.”
Research tells us that objective reality does not exist. It suggests that a physical reality we can agree on, the idea of locality must be wrong.
My Dear Friends, the next step is to go further and realize there is more to Life than Life, more to reality than physical reality.
“There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” – William Shakespeare
And what is there?
You are Eternal, and in the death of your physical body, you awaken to another World that feels more real than Human Life.
“A greater reality underlies and enfolds the material World that we see, hear, touch, smell, and taste. Today, we know clearly, certainly the nature of the greater reality and afterlife. People just have to learn what we now know. Those who come to know will cease to fear death and will live together in Peace and brotherhood.” – greaterreality.com
We will never fully comprehend our True nature.
God Is Incomprehensible and Knowable at the Same Time.
The Holy Bible is clear that God is ultimately incomprehensible to us. We can never comprehend His Being.
God is Infinite. , The Created cannot comprehend the Creator.
Yes, there are Mysteries we will never fully comprehend, but the Light of Faith enables us to grasp at least part of their meaning.
Because we strive to know God, we can pursue Truth. Since we do not fully know God, we will never fully understand the World, or the true nature of reality. Absolute truth resides only in God. But this does not prevent us from seeking to understand our World.
..“I saw every work of God, and that a man is unable to comprehend the work that is done under the Sun. Despite his efforts to search it out, he cannot find its meaning; even if the wise man claims to know, he is unable to comprehend.” – Ecclesiastes 8:17 . There isnothing“out there.” It is all inside of our consciousness. The physical Universe simply does not exist without you. . You are it, it is you. As we awaken we realize that we “are” the reality that we previously thought we existed “in.” Traveling in space and time is traveling in us.
Physical reality is a reflection, like an image in a mirror. We know that to change our image in a mirror from a frown to a smile, we must smile first before the mirror can reflect it back to us. We wouldn’t reach out with our hands and try to grab hold of the edges of our mouth in the mirror and turn them up.
The PhilosopherGeorge Berkeley maintained that physical objects do notexist independently of the mind that perceives them. A thing truly exists only as long as it is observed; otherwise, it is not only meaningless but simplynonexistent. The observer and the observed are one.
But, by accessing a Higher level of awareness, beyond the boundaries of ‘physical illusion’, we escape the constraints imposed upon us by the finite physical World.
You, like the Infinite from which you came, are part of an Eternal reality. And, like the Eternal void, every Child of God is filled with Infinite Love and Infinite possibilities.
My Dear Friends, experience deep meditation and Prayer as a profound silence beyond all words, thoughts, feelings, and sensations – “The still point of the turning World,” as T. S. Eliot called it.
Philosophers and poets and sages throughout all of our Human history, have valued the experience of being in touch with the source of their Consciousness.
Those in times passed gained access to Spiritual Dimensions by deep meditation and Prayer, to the World beyond the physical. And, they attained a more complete picture of reality.
The Human Being is an amazing, brilliantly designed Spiritual Organism, having a Human experience and capable of stunning and amazing feats of conscious expansion. Many attest to the Miracles of Meditation and Prayer, and how it has changed their precious Lives.
Search the internet for Prayer and medicine, and you’ll find plenty of scientific studies that confirm what the Christian community has known for thousands of years … that Prayer works.
“I gotta take a little time, A little time to think things over. I better read between the lines In case I need it when I’m older. Now this mountain I must climb. Feels like a World upon my shoulders, And through the clouds I see Love shine. It keeps me warm as Life grows colder. In my Life there’s been heartache and pain. I don’t know if I can face it again. Can’t stop now, I’ve traveled so far. To change this lonely Life I wanna know what Love is I want you to show me.” – Mick Jones
Perceive this moment, be a part of the reality revealed through your Love.
Walk in Nature with your Sacred Lord. Look to the Light. There you are! Beautiful. Your Love is so very Beautiful. It is the Light that shines in your Heart.
“True Love is like radium. It becomes all the more complete as it is turned towards others. That is why true happiness is within everyone’s reach, even the poorest.” – Robert Baden-Powell
Goodnight.
How Parents Can Help Children of the Pandemic Cope By Jeanne Erdmann discovermagazine.com
Kids are facing plenty of emotional challenges these days. Isolation from friends, remote learning, the loss of the structured school day and the loss of easy access to school counselors.
The stressors we’re all facing reach beyond fear of getting sick from COVID-19, and kids are no different. The toll the disease has taken on the economy, housing, food security and our daily routines of school and work shred our sense of safety and security — the foundation for mental well-being. These pressures make children especially vulnerable to mental health issues, psychiatrist Sara Vinson told attendees at the Association of Health Care Journalists’ virtual summiton Infectious Disease in November 2020.
“So much of what we ask of children — going to school, being engaged — requires them to believe that they are going to grow up and be an adult; that they have a future,” says Vinson, a psychiatrist at Morehouse School of Medicine and the Emory University School of Medicine, because the sense of control over how their future is going to look depends on feeling safe and secure.
At the summit, Elizabeth Stuart, a mental health researcher at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, said there’s not enough good data on children’s mental health during the pandemic because most surveys are done on adults. And even without surveys, Vinson and others are seeing an increase in anxiety, depression, and thoughts about suicide in children and adolescents.
The Family Meltdown
Stressed out kids show some of the same warning signs as adults do — like isolation and withdrawing from friends or activities. In general, parents or caregivers should watch for changes in a child’s behavior that are not normal for them, says Amy Geinert, a counselor at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. For example, if your child went from being diligent about schoolwork to avoiding online classes because of feeling overwhelmed.
Some kids might tell parents what’s bothering them, while others may act out or complain about headaches or stomach aches. Some may sleep too much, or too little. Younger children may become extra clingy, have more tantrums or cry more. Some risk factors can increase the risk of suicide in kids, such as feeling like they are too much of a burden. This blog post from CHOC Children’s, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, offers tips to recognize those signs.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommendstalking to children openly and honestly about the pandemic because avoiding these conversations does not protect them. And don’t bother trying to hide your own worries, because kids pick up on everything. “It’s one of their magical powers,” says Alejandra Gonzalez Rodriguez, a family and marriage therapist at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Just make sure that what you are sharing is age – appropriate. “You don’t want to tell your 10-year-old that you are having significant financial issues,” she says.
And, if in a weak moment, what you share with your children happens to be your own tantrum, it’s important to recognize what’s happened and just apologize, says Gonzalez Rodriguez. You’ll soothe the child’s feelings, and also show them that healthy relationships ebb and flow between conflict and healing.
Mending the Frayed Safety Net
Unfortunately, at a time when we need to blow off steam, our ways to cope are limited. Finding activities that promote well-being isn’t complicated.Just ask your children what they want to do together as a family, whether that’s cuddling, holding a movie night, or cooking grandma’s favorite recipe. Parents may take these things for granted, but traditions and rituals mean a lot to kids, says Gonzalez Rodriguez.
Also, ask kids what they like to do when they’re not feeling well. To identify those moments, Gonzalez Rodriguez suggests filling out what’s called a feelings thermometer, which helps children (and adults), recognize and speak about their emotions.
Parents can also try exercises like belly breathing and grounding, which, for example, asks kids to look around them and find three 3 green objects. This technique helps shift the focus away from anxious thoughts, but does take practice to have a calming effect, says Gonzalez Rodriguez.
Music can also soothe or entertain.Adam Parker, a school psychologist in the Cherry Creek School District near Denver, takes a fun approach to the social and emotional challenges of being stuck at home. His series of videos on YouTube tackles topics like doubt, grit, and empathy with songs and interviews.
Taking the Next Step Forward
While there are at-home remedies for symptoms of anxiety and depression, reach out to a therapist when your efforts aren’t working. Remember to include yourself, if necessary. “Plenty of parents will seek help for their kids and ignore their own mental health needs,” says Katherine Nelson, an assistant professor of counseling at the University of North Dakota.
There’s still a stigma attached to seeking professional help. Mental health is something people think they can manage on their own, says Nelson. Parents may also feel uncertain or fearful about what seeking mental health means, such as worrying something may be wrong with them, or worrying that seeking help for their kids may reflect poorly on them as a parent, she says. “It takes a lot of strength to ask for help, and it’s also scary,” says Nelson, who also urges us to be OK with the fact that everything has changed.
In fact, finding ways to stay positive — as challenging as that is these days — helps build resilience, in part, by how we frame the stories that we tell ourselves, says Gonzalez Rodriguez. While this may sound abstract, how we look at adversity helps or harms our ability to overcome problems. If we tell our kids that we can overcome the pandemic, then that’s the narrative they will have, she says.
Remember, too that kids bounce back. Even with the scary unknowns about the pandemic, we can still move forward, and perhaps be stronger because of the experience, says Geinert.

‘Know from whence you came. If you know whence you came, there are absolutely no limitations to where you can go.’ – James Baldwin
We reflect the Joy in our Hearts.
The reason we Love Life, is simple – Life is Love.
LOVE is the most powerful energy in existence. And when we send this amazing and indefinable energy to each other, we reflect the Joy in our Hearts.
“To watch us dance is to hear our Hearts speak”. – Hopi, Native American Tribe, proverb
When we let the Love of God flow through our Heart and out into the World, we spread the Message of God’s Love.
Lifeis a song, and our Love is the lyrics.
Love permeates everything. It is all that Truly is, and all that ever was, and all that will ever be.
Love stays with you. And it changes the Shoreline of Life Beautifully, by the ebb and flow of seas, filled with our tears of Joy and many memories.
The sounds of Nature blend melodious song to mirror Salvation.
The Beautiful Message of Love that you share, is a shining Light. Your Loving words enable others to feel the Love in their Hearts through the day, and enables them to see through the long night. Happiness need not hide, waiting to be found.
Happiness cannot be found through great effort and willpower, but is already here, right now, in relaxation and letting go. – Lama Gendun Rinpoche . Send a Blessing of Love. Shower others with your smiles. Share the Love from God Above.
“Peace begins with a smile.” – Mother Teresa
Saying, “I’ll see you later.” is engaging the meaning of the moment – in the Circle of Life.
, “When you Pray enter into your closet and when you have shut the door, Pray to your Father which is in secret and your Father which is in secret shall reward you openly.” – Matthew 6:6
My Friends, PRAYER is also an entrance into the subconscious. It is perfect medicine for our Souls. . We cannot put into words all the Beauty that resonates in our Spiritual Being. But, we can give Thanks for the Journey of discovery.
We faint and flickering shadows ever dance in the Beautiful Light of Love.
You are the only one that can feel into the depths of your Sacred Inner Being, and listen to your Heart tell the Beautiful Story of a World where YOU can be Happy and Loved, and Truly alive in Peace and Harmony.
Yes. Life is a song. Let’s sing it together.
The Beautiful Message of Love you share is a shining Light.
.Reality, My Dear Friends, is projected outward from the Heart and mind. If you Believe, it exists.
Our inner psychological state is projectedoutward and gains physicalreality. This is regardless of the nature of your psychological state. This applies to everyone. And, you can use this knowledge for your own benefit. You can change your own conditions.
The Bible says, “Without Faith it is impossible to please Him [God], for he who comes to God must Believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” – Hebrews 11:6
If we seek Him, will we find Him? Yes. . God says, “You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your Heart” – Jeremiah 29:13
Yes, we need to change the World. But to change the World around us, we must change OUR World inside.
“Let there be peace on earth And let it begin with me. Let there be peace on earth The peace that was meant to be. With God as our Father Brothers all are we. Let me walk with my brother In perfect Harmony. Let peace begin with me. Let this be the moment now. With every step I take Let this be my solemn vow. To take each moment And live each moment In peace eternally. Let there be peace on earth And let it begin with ME.”
Jill Jackson-Miller, wrote this Beautiful song after discovering what she called “Life-saving Joy of God’s Peace and unconditional Love.”
In the inner Core of our Souls, we find Faith.
We cannot doubt we exist, because we exist to doubt.
Do not doubt that God Loves you. He Loves you enough to liberate your mind to doubt. He Loves you enough to let your precious Heart show you the way to His Heart.
Be at Peace My Friend. God is more real than we are.
And so is His Love.
Love that dwells within your Sacred Heart, will never lay upon an Altar of vain repose. God sets Glorious the setting Sun, as the sounds of Nature blend melodious song to mirror Salvation, made manifest Majestic in every Human Heart that beholds the Eternal Light of the Everlasting Love of God.
Goodnight.
“Oh Heart, If one should say to you That the Soul perishes like the body, Answer that the Flower withers But the seed remains.” – Kahlil Gibran
New scientific theory recognizes Life’s Spiritual Dimension.
The reality of the Soul is among the most important questions of life. Although religions go on and on about its existence, how do we know if Souls really exist? A string of new scientific experiments helps answer this ancient spiritualquestion.
Consider the famous two-slit experiment. When you watch a particle go through the holes, it behaves like a bullet, passing through one slit or the other. But if no one observes the particle, it exhibits the behavior of a wave and can pass through both slits at the same time. This and other experiments tell us that unobserved particles exist only as ‘waves of probability’ as the great Nobel laureate Max Born demonstrated in 1926. . They’re statistical predictions – nothing but a likely outcome. Until observed, they have no real existence; only when the mind sets the scaffolding in place, can they be thought of as having duration or a position in space. Experiments make it increasingly clear that even mere knowledge in the experimenter’s mind is sufficient to convert possibility to reality. .
Many scientists dismiss the implications of these experiments, because until recently, this observer-dependent behavior was thought to be confined to the subatomic world. However, this is being challenged by researchers around the world. In fact, a team of physicists (Gerlich et al, Nature Communications 2:263, 2011) showed that quantum weirdness also occurs in the Human-scale world. They studied huge compounds composed of up to 430 atoms, and confirmed that this strange quantum behavior extends into the larger World we live in. . . Importantly,
this has a direct bearing on the question of whether Humans and other living creatures have Souls. As Immanuel Kant pointed out over 200 years ago, everything we experience – including all the colors, sensations and objects we perceive – are nothing but representations in our mind. Space and time are simply the mind’s tools for putting it all together. Now, to the amusement of idealists, scientists are beginning dimly to recognize that those rules make existence itself possible. Indeed, the experiments above suggest that objects only exist with real properties if they are observed. The results not only defy our classical intuition, but suggest that a part of the mind – the Soul – is immortal and exists outside of space and time.
(Immanuel Kant is the central figure in modern philosophy. He synthesized early modern rationalism and empiricism, set the terms for nineteenth and twentieth century philosophy, and continues to exercise a significant influence today in metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, political philosophy, aesthetics, and other fields.)
Immanuel Kant
The idea of the Soul is bound up with the idea of a future life and our belief in a continued existence after death. It’s said to be the ultimate animating principle by which we think and feel, but isn’t dependent on the body. Many infer its existence without scientific analysis or reflection. Indeed, the mysteries of birth and death, the play of consciousness during dreams (or after a few martinis), and even the commonest mental operations – such as imagination and memory– suggest the existence of a vital life force – an élan vital – that exists independent of the body.
Yet, the current scientific paradigm doesn’t recognize this spiritual dimension of life. We’re told we’re just the activity of carbon and some proteins; we live awhile and die. And the universe? It too has no meaning. It has all been worked out in the equations – no need for a soul. But biocentrism – a new ‘theory of everything’ – challenges this traditional, materialistic model of reality. In all directions, this outdated paradigm leads to insoluble enigmas, to ideas that are ultimately irrational. But knowledge is the prelude to wisdom, and soon our worldview will catch up with the facts.
Of course, most Spiritual people view the soul as emphatically more definitive than the scientific concept. It’s considered the incorporeal essence of a person, and is said to be immortal and transcendent of material existence. But when scientists speak of the soul (if at all), it’s usually in a materialistic context, or treated as a poetic synonym for the mind. Everything knowable about the “soul” can be learned by studying the functioning of the brain. In their view, neuroscience is the only branch of scientific study relevant to understanding the soul.
Traditionally, science has dismissed the soul as an object of human belief, or reduced it to a psychological concept that shapes our cognition of the observable natural world. The terms “life” and “death” are thus nothing more than the common concepts of “biological life” and “biological death.” The animating principle is simply the laws of chemistry and physics. You (and all the poets and philosophers that ever lived) are just dust orbiting the core of the Milky Way galaxy.
As I sit here in my office surrounded by piles of scientific books, I can’t find a single reference to the soul, or any notion of an immaterial, eternal essence that occupies our being. Indeed, a soul has never been seen under an electron microscope, nor spun in the laboratory in a test tube or ultra-centrifuge. According to these books, nothing appears to survive the human body after death.
While neuroscience has made tremendous progress illuminating the functioning of the brain, why we have a subjective experience remains mysterious. The problem of the soul lies exactly here, in understanding the nature of the self, the “I” in existence that feels and lives life. But this isn’t just a problem for biology and cognitive science, but for the whole of Western natural philosophyitself.
Our current worldview – the world of objectivity and naïve realism – is beginning to show fatal cracks. Of course, this will not surprise many of the philosophers and other readers who, contemplating the works of men such as Plato, Socrates and Kant, and of Buddha and other great spiritual teachers, kept wondering about the relationship between the universe and the mind of man.
Recently, biocentrism and other scientific theories have also started to challenge the old physico-chemical paradigm, and to ask some of the difficult questions about life: Is there a soul? Does anything endure the ravages of time?
Life and consciousness are central to this new view of being, reality and the cosmos. Although the current scientific paradigm is based on the belief that the world has an objective observer-independent existence, real experiments suggest just the opposite. We think life is just the activity of atoms and particles, which spin around for a while and then dissipate into nothingness. But if we add life to the equation, we can explain some of the major puzzles of modern science, including the uncertainty principle, entanglement, and the fine-tuning of the laws that shape the universe.
“The Hope of another Life” wrote Will Durant, “gives us courage to meet our own death, and to bear with the death of our Loved ones; we are twice armed if we fight with Faith.“
Can garlic help prevent and fight prostate cancer, the most common non-skin cancer in America? Several studies suggest garlic and garlic supplements offer protection against cancer, including prostate cancer. These anti-cancer effects are thought to be largely attributable to organosulphur compounds which are produced during the decomposition of allicin. Allicin, in turn, is formed in raw garlic cloves when you crush or chop them.
Additionally, garlic – especially rawgarlic – is rich in vitamin C, a nutrient that has been used to prevent and treat prostate cancer.
The rest of this article provides details of recent studies that have been carried out to investigate a possible link between eating garlic and a lowered risk of prostate cancer:
A population-based, case-control study conducted in Shanghai, China, found that men who ate more than 10 grams of Allium vegetables, particularly garlic and scallions, per day were 50% less likely to get prostate cancer than those who ate only a little bit of garlic. The reduced risk of prostate cancer associated with garlic consumption was independent of total caloric intake, body size, and consumption of other foods. This study appeared in the November 2002 edition of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
In another case-control study, a group of researchers from Oxford asked 328 men diagnosed with prostate cancer before the age of 75 and 328 controls to provide details of their dietary habits. The controls were matched for age. Garlic and garlic supplements, along with a few other foods such as beans and peas, were found to have a protective effectagainst prostate cancer. This study was published in the renowned British Journal of Cancer in 1997.
However, not all case-control studies support the theory that garlic helps reduce the risk of prostate cancer. A large 2006 study that analyzed dietary data from a number of Italian and Swiss case-control studies found a significant association between high garlic consumption and a reduced risk of several cancers, but not of prostate cancer. The scientists responsible for this study believe that in case of prostate cancer, hormonal factors may play a bigger role in the development of the disease than dietary factors. This study on garlic and cancer was published in the November 2006 edition of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
The Bottom Line
Some studies suggest that garlic can indeed help prevent and fight prostate cancer, while other studies imply that garlic does not have a significant protective effect against prostate cancer. However, there are numerous studies that show that a diet rich in garlic is good for your overall health and vitality, and that eating garlic regularly can reduce the risk of several types of cancer including stomach, mouth and throat, kidney, and colorectal cancers. This evidence supports the idea of including garlic in an anti-prostate-cancer diet (or almost any other diet aimed at improving health).

The Flowering of Truth
reveals the youth
of our existence.
Like a Child,
piece by piece
we combine bits of experience
into something elusive
and illusionairy. As if we
define the World
around us.
And, we do.
We plebeians of procrastination often defer
from Peaceful pursuit.
The Flowering of Truth.
In debt
from our desire
for prosperity,
we savoir the substance
of our circumstance, while our good intentions,
rare for the moment,
perturbate in their orbits around
the Human Heart.
In Time,
tainted with theatrics
in Love
with our self-esteem,
we live in isolated absence
of forethought.
In these tempest-tossed times,
there is the temptation
to tread lightly
upon the past,
which becomes prologue
and profound.
Our past is filled
with stones
to mark the Graves
of many,
known and unknown.
The Treasure
of our memory
is vast
and beyond Being.
“The past is never dead. It’s not even past.” – William Faulkner
The fierce breath
of History
emanates from our ignorance
buried deep within
the Human Heart.
Between the violent breaths,
prospects for Peace
grow into illusion,
and the cycle begats
war after war.
The sounds of silence,
from our precious breathless deceased,
spiral upward
with startling clarity,
in sufferance of
mortal and moral anguish.
And still,
we
do not listen.
The American Battle Monuments Commission maintains 24 permanent American burial grounds on foreign soil.
Let us remember the past,
and Honor those
who gave their precious Lives
for us. Let us learn from the past,
so that we do not remain,
as George Santayana reminds us,
savages or infants.
Let us learn
and Lovingly create
a Peaceful future,
filled with Forgiveness
and Love for all
who transgressed
against us.
Let us do this
for our precious Children.
“Those who do not remember their past
are condemned to repeat their mistakes.
Those who do not read History
are doomed to repeat it.
Those who fail to learn
from the mistakes of their predecessors
are destined to repeat them.
Those who do not know History’s mistakes
are doomed to repeat them.” – George Santayana
My Dear Friends,
let us empower those
who can help
move our precious Lives
forward forever.
Let us help those
who can resurrect
the Future.
To do so,
let us help
ourselves.
Let us empower we.
“Let there be Peace on Earth
and let it begin with me. Let there be Peace on Earth,
the Peace that was meant to be.
With God as our Father
brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother
in perfect harmony.
Let Peace begin with me,
let this be the moment now. .
With every step I take
let this be my solemn vow,
to take each moment,
and live each moment
in Peace Eternally. .
Let there be Peace on Earth
and let it begin with me.

First, the good news: You probably won’t get cancer.
That is, if you have a healthy lifestyle. “As many as 70% of known causes of cancers are avoidable and related to lifestyle,” says Thomas A. Sellers, PhD, associate director for cancer prevention and control at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Diet, exercise, and avoidance of tobacco products are, of course, your first line of defense, but recent research has uncovered many small, surprising ways you can weave even more disease prevention into your everyday life.
Try these novel strategies and your risk of cancer could dwindle even more.
1. Filter your tap water
You’ll reduce your exposure to known or suspected carcinogens and hormone-disrupting chemicals. A report from the President’s Cancer Panel on how to reduce exposure to carcinogens suggests that home-filtered tap water is a safer bet than bottled water, whose quality often is not higher – and in some cases is worse – than that of municipal sources, according to a study by the Environmental Working Group. (Consumer Reports’ top picks for faucet-mounted filters: Culligan, Pur Vertical, and the Brita OPFF-100.) Store water in stainless steel or glass to avoid chemical contaminants such as BPA that can leach from plastic bottles.
2. Stop topping your tank
So say the EPA and the President’s Cancer Panel: Pumping one last squirt of gas into your car after the nozzle clicks off can spill fuel and foil the pump’s vapor recovery system, designed to keep toxic chemicals such as cancer-causing benzene out of the air, where they can come in contact with your skin or get into your lungs.
3. Marinate meat first
Processed, charred, and well-done meats can contain cancer-causing heterocyclic amines, which form when meat is seared at high temperatures, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which get into food when it’s charcoal broiled. “The recommendation to cut down on grilled meat has really solid scientific evidence behind it,” says Cheryl Lyn Walker, PhD, a professor of carcinogenesis at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. If you do grill, add rosemary and thyme to your favorite marinade and soak meat for at least an hour before cooking. The antioxidant-rich spices can cut HCAs by as much as 87%, according to research at Kansas State University.
4. Caffeinate every day Java lovers who drank 5 or more cups of caffeinated coffee a day had a 40% decreased risk of brain cancer, compared with people who drank the least, in a 2010 British study. A 5-cup-a-day coffee habit reduces risks of oral and throat cancer almost as much. Researchers credit the caffeine: Decaf had no comparable effect. But coffee was a more potent protector against these cancers than tea, which the British researchers said also offered protection against brain cancer.
5. Water down your risk Drinking plenty of water and other liquids may reduce the risk of bladder cancer by diluting the concentration of cancer-causing agents in urine and helping to flush them through the bladder faster. Drink at least 8 cups of liquid a day, suggests the American Cancer Society.
6. Load up on green greens
Next time you’re choosing salad fixings, reach for the darkest varieties. The chlorophyll that gives them their color is loaded with magnesium, which some large studies have found lowers the risk of colon cancer in women. “Magnesium affects signaling in cells, and without the right amount, cells may do things like divide and replicate when they shouldn’t,” says Walker. Just 1/2 cup of cooked spinach provides 75 mg of magnesium, 20% of the daily value.
7. Snack on Brazil nuts
They’re a stellar source of selenium, an antioxidant that lowers the risk of bladder cancer in women, according to research from Dartmouth Medical School. Other studies have found that people with high blood levels of selenium have lower rates of dying of lung cancer and colorectal cancer. Researchers think selenium not only protects cells from free radical damage but also may enhance immune function and suppress formation of blood vessels that nourish tumors.
8. Burn off your risk
Moderate exercise such as brisk walking 2 hours a week cuts risk of breast cancer 18%. Regular workouts may lower your risks by helping you burn fat, which otherwise produces its own estrogen, a known contributor to breast cancer. (Try these 14 Walking Workouts That Blast Fat.)
9. Skip the dry cleaner
A solvent known as perc (short for perchloroethylene) that’s used in traditional dry cleaning may cause liver and kidney cancers and leukemia, according to an EPA finding backed in early 2010 by the National Academies of Science. The main dangers are to workers who handle chemicals or treated clothes using older machines, although experts have not concluded that consumers are also at increased cancer risk. Less toxic alternatives: Hand-wash clothes with mild soap and air-dry them, spot cleaning if necessary with white vinegar.
10. Ask about breast density
Women whose mammograms have revealed breast density readings of 75% or more have a breast cancer risk 4 to 5 times higher than that of women with low density scores, according to recent research. One theory is that denser breasts result from higher levels of estrogen – making exercise particularly important (see #8). “Shrinking your body fat also changes growth factors, signaling proteins such as adipokines and hormones like insulin in ways that tend to turn off cancer-promoting processes in cells,” Walker says.
11. Head off cell phone risks
Use your cell phone only for short calls or texts, or use a hands-free device that keeps the phone – and the radio frequency energy it emits—away from your head. The point is more to preempt any risk than to protect against a proven danger: Evidence that cell phones increase brain cancer risk is “neither consistent nor conclusive,” says the President’s Cancer Panel report. But a number of review studies suggest there’s a link.
12. Block cancer with color
Choosing your outdoor outfit wisely may help protect against skin cancer, say Spanish scientists. In their research, blue and red fabrics offered significantly better protection against the sun’s UV rays than white and yellow ones did. Don’t forget to put on a hat: Though melanoma can appear anywhere on the body, it’s more common in areas the sun hits, and researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have found that people with melanomas on the scalp or neck die at almost twice the rate of people with the cancer on other areas of the body.
13. Pick a doc with a past Experience – lots of it – is critical when it comes to accurately reading mammograms. A study from the University of California, San Francisco, found that doctors with at least 25 years’ experience were more accurate at interpreting images and less likely to give false positives. Ask about your radiologist’s track record. If she is freshly minted or doesn’t check a high volume of mammograms, get a second read from someone with more mileage.
14. Eat clean foods
The President’s Cancer Panel recommends buying meat free of antibiotics and added hormones, which are suspected of causing endocrine problems, including cancer. The report also advises that you purchase produce grown without pesticides and wash conventionally grown food thoroughly to remove residues. (The foods with the most pesticides: celery, peaches, strawberries, apples, and blueberries. See the full list of dirtiest fruits and vegetableshere.) “At least 40 known carcinogens are found in pesticides and we should absolutely try to reduce exposure,” Sellers says.
15. Do a folic acid check
The B vitamin, essential for women who may become or are pregnant to prevent birth defects, is a double-edged sword when it comes to cancer risk. Consuming too much of the synthetic form (not folate, found in leafy green veggies, orange juice, and other foods) has been linked to increased colon cancer risk, as well as higher lung cancer and prostate cancer risks. Rethink your multivitamin, especially if you eat a lot of cereal and fortified foods. A CDC study discovered that half of supplement users who took supplements with more than 400 mcg of folic acid exceeded 1,000 mcg per day of folic acid. Most supplements pack 400 mcg. Individual supplements (of vitamin D and calcium, for instance) may be a smarter choice for most women who aren’t thinking of having kids.
16. Up your calcium intake
Milk’s main claim to fame may also help protect you from colon cancer. Those who took calcium faithfully for 4 years had a 36% reduction in the development of new precancerous colon polyps 5 years after the study had ended, revealed Dartmouth Medical School researchers. (They tracked 822 people who took either 1,200 mg of calcium every day or a placebo.) Though the study was not on milk itself, you can get the same amount of calcium in three 8-ounce glasses of fat-free milk, along with an 8-ounce serving of yogurt or a 2- to 3-ounce serving of low-fat cheese daily.
17. Commit to whole grains
You know whole wheat is better for you than white bread. Here’s more proof why you should switch once and for all: If you eat a lot of things with a high glycemic load—a measurement of how quickly food raises your blood sugar—you may run a higher risk of colorectal cancer than women who eat low-glycemic-load foods, found a Harvard Medical School study involving 38,000 women. The problem eats are mostly white: white bread, pasta, potatoes, and sugary pastries. The low-glycemic-load stuff comes with fiber.
18. Pay attention to pain
If you’re experiencing a bloated belly, pelvic pain, and an urgent need to urinate, see your doctor. These symptoms may signal ovarian cancer, particularly if they’re severe and frequent. Women and physicians often ignore these symptoms, and that’s the very reason that this disease can be deadly. When caught early, before cancer has spread outside the ovary, the relative 5-year survival rate for ovarian cancer is a jaw-dropping 90 to 95%.
19. Avoid unnecessary scans CT scans are a great diagnostic tool, but they deliver much more radiation than x-rays and may be overused, says Barton Kamen, MD, PhD, chief medical officer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In fact, researchers suggest that one-third of CT scans could be unnecessary. High doses of radiation can trigger leukemia, so make sure scans are not repeated if you see multiple doctors, and ask if another test, such as an ultrasound or MRI, could substitute.
20. Drop 10 pounds
Being overweight or obese accounts for 20% of all cancer deaths among women and 14% among men, notes the American Cancer Society. (You’re overweight if your body mass index is between 25 and 29.9; you’re obese if it’s 30 or more.) Plus, losing excess pounds reduces the body’s production of female hormones, which may protect against breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer. Even if you’re not technically overweight, gaining just 10 pounds after the age of 30 increases your risk of developing breast, pancreatic, and cervical, among other cancers.
