Dedicated with all my Love
to little Abigail Jones.
Abby’s story
brings tears to my eyes,
Hope
to those who are hopeless,
peace to those facing terminal illness
and encouragement to those
facing life’s uncertainties,
read Abby’s story here

“Life
is a Beautiful dance
of joy and grief.”
– Erika and Stephen Jones
(Abby’s precious Mother and Father)

Their story of Love and Courage and Faith
Has inspired me
To share the following
With you.

butterfly 1

Unimaginable Beauty abides within.

With each dawn
Of each new day,
God
Looks into the face

Of a newborn child,
Filled with Hope,
Blessed by Grace.

Each dawn
Births
An infinity of possibilities,
An endless list
Of songs to sing,
A Universe of ideas
To explore
And a measureless landscape
Of Heartfelt emotions
To enjoy
Or endure.

Countless Blessings
God brings.
They are truly
Unbounded, enduring
Everlasting and undying.
But,
Looking with only
Our lonely eyes,
We see so very, very
Little.

The signposts
Of our memories,
In dreams
Ne’er placed in bed,

Show us the ways
We have been.

halo

Our lonely eyes see so very, very little.

And as all thought
Of sorrow
Seeps from your veins,
And sadness
Brings you
To your knees,
You need but remember

The Life God gave,
As He
Remembers
The Dream You are,
Child of
Everlasting Love.

My Precious Friends,
Only the Fire of Faith
Lights the path

To lead you out
Of the darkness
Of doubt.

As the storms of Life
Scatter the dreams
Of the night,
Know that
Unimaginable Beauty
Abides within
The Sacred
Being you are.

sun

Each dawn births an Infinity of possibilities.

The unfolding journey of Life
May seem at times
A hopelessly tragedy.
But moments of joy
Can far outnumber
Moments of sorrow.
By the Loving Grace of God
That you beseech and implore,
The choice becomes
Yours.

“Happiness held
is the seed;

happiness shared
is the flower.”
– John Harrigan

You are, my Friend,
A Living Library.
You hold the history

Of the Universe
Within your Sacred body.
And in your mind,
Is the chapter
You write today.
But your Heart
Possesses a wealth untold

Of Beautiful emotions
Which connect you

To Tomorrow
In a Spiritual way.

sun 2

The storms of Life scatter the dreams.

 Realities merge,
When what we’ve done,

By the Grace of God,
We undo
In forgiving,
And being forgiven,

Yes,
God looks into the face
Of a newborn child.
Every child of God
Is like the Golden Dawn
Of each new day.
He Graciously gives
What is given,
And is woven
Into the Fabric
Of our new awakening,

sun 3

                  Realities merge.

You,
My Friend,

Are that child.
And God
Looks into your face
With each newborn day,
As the Promise
Of your Dawn
Begs of such Beauty
That may be found
Only
In the Magnificent
Sunrise of your precious
Heart.

Yours is the Sunlight,
  And the Morning.

With each dawning
Of each new day,
You
Are born again
Into a world
That can be filled
With all the Love
You are,
And all the Love
You will ever be.

flower

Happiness shared is the flower.

Stretch out your arms.
Embrace everyone
You see.

Open wide your Heart.
Welcome
A new world
Filled with all the Love
Of a Father
For His newborn
Child.

God is,
Above all things,
A Loving Parent.
And you,
His deeply Loved
Child.

All the Miracles
Of the Cosmos

Are poised
In Revelation
With each new day.

Your Life
Can be
Ever giving,
When your Love
Has found its meaning
.

I Pray
That you are guided
by

Life ever Loving,
And Love
Ever giving.

Goodnight.

Or is it really,
Good Morning!

flowers

The Fire of Faith lights the path.

“The essence of God
Is so transcendent
it cannot be described,
except with reference
to what it is not.”

                                                  Ginger
                           is a powerful anti-cancer medicine
New research reveals that ginger is such a powerful anti-cancer medicine that it kills 10,000 as many cancer cells as chemotherapy. And unlike with chemo, ginger doesn’t kill you in the process.

Besides slowing down cancer, ginger was proven to be effective for over 100 other ailments, including diabetes, osteoarthritis and chemotherapy-induced nausea. Another good reason why you should definitely try it is the fact that it comes with virtually no side effects. Unlike chemo, ginger acts like as a remedy. Chinese medicine started using it to treat patients over 2,000 year ago.   read more here

You Can See Forever / Butterflies in the Garden Exhibit

Every thoughtful parent begins life with their newborn child by looking inward, by examining the life they have lived. They want for their son or daughter the things in life that were denied them.

But only by taking time to thoughtfully examine our own attitude toward the real purpose of one’s being, by questioning the reason we are alive and why we exist, can we know what to do for those we love more than life.

We enjoyed our visit to the Military Museum of Fort Worth.

We enjoyed our visit to the Military Museum of Fort Worth.

There are those who think it is not possible to understand our life on this earth. They assume that this existence is, perhaps, unreal. They just exist. They barely survive, and day by day. But this level of awareness is deceptive and illusory and dangerous.

It leads us to believe that life is something to just endure and that death is inevitable – that we are all doomed – that we are controlled by outside forces we do not understand and can never really know – that we have no free will. These forces we attract based on unconscious programming, attracted due to what one fears, not our conscious thoughts.

But I do not accept this blindness. For I can no longer fail to believe in the one thing that gives us sight – and that is the transcendent power of Love.

Somerset Maugham said, “Great truths are too important to be new.” And one cherished truth that has been revealed over many years is this: the real purpose of love is to escape death, to perpetuate life. Through the love of one man and one woman, life goes on. For love and life are entwined and beautifully blended together in a Sacred Act of creation, with a beauty far beyond what we can ever comprehend. Love and life are the same. They are one and the same. And knowing this can bring a kind of peace to your heart, that makes life on this earth worth living.

My friends, you can become nothing without love.

But please remember, you too are a child – a Child of God. And His Love is always within you. You know, there is no substitute for love. And the love that resides within your heart is as infinite as the love God feels for you.

If you look deeply into your own heart, you will discover an infinite capacity for compassion and for love for everyone and every living thing. Look long enough, and clearly enough, and you can see forever.

The insightful philosophy of existentialism, which stipulates that since we are all ultimately alone, isolated islands of subjectivity in an objective world, we have absolute freedom over our internal nature – that individual human beings have full responsibility for creating the meanings of their own lives. It postulates that our existence precedes our essence – that the miracle of our being, “outshines every star”. A good example of existentialism in “The Book Thief” is when the story starts with Liesel’s journey to her new foster parents, who live in a suburb of Munich, just around the corner from the Dachau concentration camp. I recommend you view the movie – and take your children with you. Our students truly enjoyed it. The tragic ending reveals another great truth – that hatred will destroy the most beautiful Gift that God will ever bestow.

My friends, you are more beautiful, more miraculous and much more than you shall ever fully realize. Our minds simply cannot comprehend the Divinity that sparked us into being. We can never fully know the depth of Pure Love that formed us into the Transcendent Spiritual Miracles that are you and I. But we can pray for the wisdom to cherish all that we have been given, all that we are, and share our bountiful Blessings of Love with others.

The lyrics of Alan Jay Lerner and music of Burton Lane may help us to clarify the paradoxes that life and love expose. The magic of this musical moment has proven to be a salvation for many seekers of wisdom. My prayer is that it opens up your mind to the hidden country of your heart. click here for song.

“On a clear day
Rise and look around you
And you’ll see who you are.
On a clear day
How it will astound you
That the glow of your being
Outshines every star.
You’ll feel part of
Every mountain, sea and shore
You can hear
From far and near
A world you’ve never heard before.
And on a clear day
On a clear day
You can see forever
And ever
And ever
And ever more.”

UPDATE  ON  SUGAR

People will be advised to halve the amount of sugar in their diet, under new World Health Organization guidance. The recommended sugar intake will be below 5% of total caloric intake. The suggested limits apply to all sugars added to food, as well as sugar naturally present in honey, syrups, fruit juices and fruit concentrates. click here for more

Campaigners say it is a “tragedy” that the W.H.O. has taken 10 years to think about changing its advice. The recommendation that sugar should account for no more than 10% of the calories in the diet, was passed in 2002. It works out at about 50g a day for an adult of normal weight, said the WHO. Now the recommendation is 25g per day.
